Cadmium underpotential deposition (UPD) on Ag particles modified highly ordered pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) surfaces, and the involved alloy formation were studied by conventional electrochemical techniques. Voltammetric results indicated that the Cd UPD followed an adsorption behavior different from that observed for massive Ag electrodes and Ag particles supported on vitreous carbon. Nanometer-sized bimetallic Cd–Ag particles were characterized by ex situ atomic force microscopy (AFM). Initially, AFM images show Ag deposits of similar size distributed preferably on HOPG step edges. No remarkable morphological changes are observed on the surface after the subsequent Cd deposition, suggesting that the Cd particles are deposited selectively over the Ag crystals. From the analysis of desorption spectra, employing different polarization times, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations, the formation of a Cd–Ag surface alloy could be inferred. 相似文献

The title compound is C35H32NBFe3, monoclinic,P21/n,a=14.204 (4),b=11.582 (4),c=17.547 (6) Å,=101.46 (2)°. The structure was solved by the heavy-atom method and refined by least-squares techniques to anR factor of 0.037 for 3148 observed reflections. The X-ray study confirms that in the solid state the structure of the title compound is similar to that inferred from chemical and spectroscopic evidence. The B atom is coordinated by three ferrocenyl groups and a pyridine ring in a distorted tetrahedral array. The molecule has a nearly three-fold axis normal to the plane defined by the ferrocenyl groups. The B-N distance of 1.656 (5) Å is larger than that obtained for other compounds studied. Bond lengths and angles for the whole structure are all in accord with similar compounds. The pyridine and cyclopentadienyl rings are planar. The H atoms of the cyclopentadienyl rings are displaced significantly toward their corresponding Fe atom. The molecules in the crystal are packed at normal van der Waals distances. A convenient new method for the simultaneous determination of losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide, with minimum sample
pretreatment, is described. The procedure, based on the multivariate analysis of spectral data in the 220−274 nm region by
the partial least squares algorithm, is linear in the concentration range 1.06−5.70 mg L−1 for hydrochlorothiazide and 4.0−22.2 mg L−1 for losartan. It is simple, rapid and robust, allowing accurate and precise results, with drug recovery rates of 99.3 and
100.4% and relative standard deviations of 1.7 and 1.0% obtained for hydrochlorothiazide and losartan, respectively. The method
was applied to the simultaneous determination of both analytes in tablets, and it provided good results which were in statistical
agreement with those provided by independent HPLC analyses of the samples. The method has also been successfully applied for
the construction of drug dissolution profiles of a commercial pharmaceutical preparation containing both analytes.

Molecular orbital and density functional theory calculations are performed on some di- and tetrasubstituted derivatives of anthraquinone, dihydrophenazine, and acridone to investigate cooperativity in a pair of bifurcated hydrogen bonds occurring in the same molecule. The various structures were selected as convenient model systems for three-center hydrogen bonding of both H...A...H and A...H...A types. In the former type, the C=O moieties in anthraquinone and acridone act as bifurcated hydrogen bond acceptors, and substituted OH groups act as hydrogen bond donors. In the latter type, the N-H moieties in dihydrophenazine, acridones act as bifurcated hydrogen bond donors, and the carbonyl oxygens of substituted CHO groups act as hydrogen bond acceptors. A new iridium(III) complex showing intramolecular interligand pi-stacking has been synthesized and used to improve the stability of single-component, solid-state light-emitting electrochemical cell (LEC) devices. The pi-stacking results in the formation of a very stable supramolecularly caged complex. Reaction of ferrocene with lithium in the presence of either ethylene or COD allows the Fe(0)-ate complexes 1 and 4 to be prepared on a large scale, which turned out to be excellent catalysts for a variety of Alder-ene, [4+2], [5+2], and [2+2+2] cycloadditon and cycloisomerization reactions of polyunsaturated substrates. The structures of ferrates 1 and 4 in the solid-state reveal the capacity of the reduced iron center to share electron density with the ligand sphere. This feature, coupled with the kinetic lability of the bound olefins, is thought to be responsible for the ease with which different enyne or diyne substrates undergo oxidative cyclization as the triggering event of the observed skeletal reorganizations. This mechanistic proposal is corroborated by highly indicative deuterium labeling experiments. Moreover, it was possible to intercept two different products of an oxidative cyclization manifold with the aid of the Fe(+1) complex 6, which, despite its 17-electron count, also turned out to be catalytically competent in certain cases. The unusual cyclobutadiene complex 38 derived from 6 and tolane was characterized by X-ray crystallography. 相似文献
