研究了空气质量含量在2%~13%,汽油蒸汽和空气的混合气体在水平管内的冷凝换热。并分析了不凝气体质量分数对管内冷凝换热的影响规律。得到Co随Re变化的冷凝换热系数的实验关联式。     

碳数规律中A/(1/r)、B''''/(1/r)值与固定液极性的关系

采用n-烷烃在不同极性的固定液中,在不同色谱柱温下试验的大量数据表明,碳数规律中A、B'值与柱温倒数(1/T)的关系中,(?)/(?)(1/T)值随固定液极性增加而增大;(?)B'/(?)(1/T)值随固定液极性增加而减小,即(?)A/(?)(1/T)值与Mertynolder常数成正比;(?)B'/(?)(1/T)值与Mertynolder常数成反比。     

Gas-chromatographic determination and quantitation of tricresyl phosphate isomers in blood by nitrogen-phosphorus detection

Summary Several investigations have been performed to quantitate tricresyl phosphate isomers in spiked blood samples. Recovery of 80 % was achieved by extraction withn-hexane containing internal standard. Separation on a DB-17 capillary column and detection with a nitrogen-phosphorus detector enabled detection limits of 10 μg L⁻¹.     

The mathematical modelling of a production scale sequential continuous chromatographic refiner unit

Summary A plate to plate mathematical model of a sequential gas-liquid chromatographic separator used for the continuous separation of volatile organic mixtures has been extended to include theoretically determined temperature, pressure and concentration effects. A comparison has been made of predicted values with experimental results obtained on a 12 column (7.6 cm o.d. ×61 cm) sequential continuous chromatograph when separating an equivolume mixture of Arklone P-Genklene P at feed rates of up to 1400 cm³ hr^–1.     

Activity coefficients of hydrocarbons at infinite dilution in di-n-octyltin dichloride. Comparison with results obtained in other alkyltin solvents

The gas chromatographic method was employed to measure the infinite dilution activity coefficients of twenty-eight hydrocarbons of different types in di-n-octyltin dichloride between 50 and 80°C, and of seven branched alkanes in tri-n-octyltin chloride between 40 and 60°C. A comparison is made between the results obtained for all the solutes in both solvents and in tetra-n-octyltin.     

Foams in contact with solid boundaries: Equilibrium conditions and conformal invariance

A liquid foam in contact with a solid surface forms a two-dimensional foam on the surface. We derive the equilibrium equations for this 2D foam when the solid surface is curved and smooth, generalising the standard case of flat Hele-Shaw cells. The equilibrium conditions at the vertices in 2D, at the edges in 3D, are invariant by conformal transformations. Regarding the films, conformal invariance only holds with restrictions, which we explicit for 3D and flat 2D foams. Considering foams confined in thin interstices between two non-parallel plates, normal incidence and Laplace’s law lead to an approximate equation relating the plate profile to the conformal map. Solutions are given for the logarithm and power laws in the case of constant pressure. The paper concludes on a comparison with available experimental data.
