Time-Resolved Femtosecond Degenerate Four-Wave Mixing in LiNbO3：Fe,Mg Crystal

Forward degenerate four-wave mixing （DFWM） processes are investigated with a femtosecond pulsed laser in lithium niobate crystal doubly-doped with magnesium and iron （LiNbO3：Fe, Mg）. The pulse energy dependence reveals a pure third-order nonlinear response, and the third-order nonlinear susceptibility x^（3） in the material is evaluated to be 4.96 × 10^-13 esu. The time-resolved DFWM process shows a response time of x^（3） shorter than 100fs, which is due to the nonresonant electronic nonlinearities. Our results indicate that LiNbO3 crystals have potentials for ultrafast real-time optical processing systems, which require a large and fast x^（3） optical nonlinearity.     

THE TWO-BOSON SCATTERING PHASE SHIFTS IN THE GENERAL φ6 THEORY WITH THE GAUSSIAN WAVE-FUNCTIONAL APPROACH

The two-particle scattering phase shifts with a λφ⁴ +ξφ⁶ interaction are com-puted in (1 + 1) and (2 + 1) dimensions using the Gaussian wave-functional approach.Through numerical analysis, we give the phase-shift curves with respect to the scat-tering energy for most cases of this theory. In (1 + 1) and (2 + 1 ) dimensions, for the symmetry vacuum the phase shifts are positive or negative depending on the signs of the renormalized parameter, while for the asymmetric vacuum the phase shifts are negative.     

伊辛模型的四分支临界面及其临界行为

本文通过等标度同普适类变换理论,使严格的重正化群递推方程得以直接应用。对伊辛模型的计算产生了四个不动点、四支临界面。对应于铁磁及反铁磁相变,其结果与已知的严格解及最好近似解一致。对于超反铁磁相变,本文提出临界曲面方程为—ch(h)=sh(2K_x)sh(2K_y)。 关键词：

用CARS技术测量氮气温度的初步研究

建立了测量气体温度的CARS(相干反斯托克斯喇曼光谱)装置,进行了氮气温度测量的初步研究.温度的确定采用将实测谱与计算谱对比的近似方法。     

含左手材料光纤的表面模特性

在弱导条件下,利用Maxwell方程组,对纤芯是左手材料,包层是右手材料的光纤表面模进行了研究,得到了TE (TM)、 EH和 HE表面模的色散方程,.根据色散方程,画出了相应表面模和含左手材料光纤导模的色散曲线.比较这些色散曲线,发现了含左手材料光纤表面模一些新的特性.     

Mutual Information of Pauli Channels with Correlated Noise

A general formula for the mutual information of the Paufi channels with memory modelled by correlated noise is derived. It is shown that the mutual information depends on the channel shrinking factor, the input state parameter and the channel memory coefficient. The analyses based on the general formula reveal that the entanglement is always a useful resource to enhance the mutual information of some Pauli channels, such as the bit flip channel and the bit-phase flip channel. Our analyses also show that the entanglement is not advantageous to the reliable transmission of classical information for some Pauli channels at any time, such as the phase flip channel and the phase damping channel.

Synthesis of a Tweezer—like Bis（Phenylthiapropoxy）calix[4]—arene as a Cation／π Enhanced Sensor for Ion—Selective Electrodes

Two novel 25,27-dihydroxy-26,28-bis(3-phenylthiapropxy)-calix[4]arene(3) and 25,27-dihydroxy-26,28-bis(3-phenylthiapropoxy)-5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butylcalix[4] arene (4) were synthesized for the evaluation of their ion-selectivity in ion-selective electrodes(ISEs).ISEs based on 3 and 4 as neutral ionophores were prepared,and their selectivity coefficients for Ag^ (lg KAg,M^pot)were investigated against other alkali metal,alkaline-earth metal,aluminum,thallium(Ⅰ）,Lead and some transition metal ions using the separate solution method (SSM).These ISEs showed excellent Ag^ seletivity over most of the interfering cations examined,except for Hg^2 and Fe^2 having relative smaller interference(lg KAg,M^pot≤-2.1).
