We take a critical view at the basic definition of extended single particle states in a non-translationally invariant system. For this, we present the case of a hierarchical lattice and incorporate long range interactions that are also distributed in a hierarchical fashion. We show that it is possible to explicitly construct eigenstates with constant amplitudes (normalized to unity) at every lattice point for special values of the electron-energy. However, the end-to-end transmission, corresponding to the above energy of the electron in such a hierarchical system depends strongly on a special correlation between the numerical values of the parameters of the Hamiltonian. Keeping the energy and the distribution of the amplitudes invariant, one can transform the lattice from conducting to insulating simply by tuning the numerical values of the long range interaction. The values of these interactions themselves display a fractal character.  相似文献

Cu/SiO2 catalysts with different bimodal pore structures adjusted by the ratio of HMS and silica sol were prepared via modified impregnation method. Structure evolutions of the catalyst were systematically characterized by N2-physisorption, X-ray diffraction, H2 temperature-programmed reduction, N2O titration and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The results show that the composite silica supported copper catalysts showed remarkably enhanced catalytic performance in the selective hydrogenation of dimethyl oxalate to ethylene glycol compared to the individual silica supported ones obtained by the same method. The dimethyl oxalate conversion and the ethylene glycol selectivity can reach 100% and 98% at 473 K with 2.5 MPa H2 pressure and 1.5 h−1 liquid hour space velocity of dimethyl oxalate over the optimized Cu/SiO2 catalyst. The remarkably enhanced catalytic performance of Cu/SiO2 catalysts might be attributed to the homogeneous dispersion and uniformity of the active copper species and to the larger copper surface areas attained on the HMS supports with large pore diameters and surface areas.  相似文献

The universal occurrence of a hierarchical structure and its dynamic behavior in various types of group, living or abstract, are discussed. Here the word “group” refers not only to tangible aggregation but also to invisible aggregation of social psychological and of geopolitical meaning. The evolution of these groups is simulated using a model of agents distributed on the lattices of cellular grids. It is assumed that agents, fearing isolation, interact asymmetrically with each other with regard to exchange of “power”. As an indicator of hierarchy, the Gini coefficient is introduced. Example calculations are made for the aggregation, fusion and fission of animal groups, and for the appearance of a powerful empire and the rise and fall of supremacy. It is shown that such abstract objects evolve with time in accordance with the universal rules of groups common to birds and fish.  相似文献

This study analyzes multiobjective d-dimensional knapsack problems (MOd-KP) within a comparative analysis of three multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs): the ε-nondominated sorted genetic algorithm II (ε-NSGAII), the strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm 2 (SPEA2) and the ε-nondominated hierarchical Bayesian optimization algorithm (ε-hBOA). This study contributes new insights into the challenges posed by correlated instances of the MOd-KP that better capture the decision interdependencies often present in real world applications. A statistical performance analysis of the algorithms uses the unary ε-indicator, the hypervolume indicator and success rate plots to demonstrate their relative effectiveness, efficiency, and reliability for the MOd-KP instances analyzed. Our results indicate that the ε-hBOA achieves superior performance relative to ε-NSGAII and SPEA2 with increasing number of objectives, number of decisions, and correlative linkages between the two. Performance of the ε-hBOA suggests that probabilistic model building evolutionary algorithms have significant promise for expanding the size and scope of challenging multiobjective problems that can be explored.  相似文献

Summary  We introduce a shared random-effect model, derived from frailty models to account for informative dropout. We extend the iterative weighted least squares algorithm for hierarchical generalized linear models to shared random-effect models. Monte-Carlo simulations are carried out to illustrate that the proposed method works well whether the random-effect distribution is correctly specified or not. A finite difference approximation to a hierarchical size-structured model with nonlinear growth, mortality and reproduction rates is developed. Existence-uniqueness of the weak solution to the model is established and convergence of the finite-difference approximation is proved. Simulations indicate that the monotonicity assumption on the growth rate is crucial for the global existence of weak solutions. Numerical results testing the efficiency of this method in approximating the long-time behavior of the model are presented.  相似文献

基于脱铝多级孔BEA沸石与二氯二茂钛的固相反应,开展了钛掺杂量可调的多级孔Ti-beta后处理工艺制备研究.对制备的多级孔Ti-beta样品的理化性质进行了表征,包括X射线衍射、氮气吸附脱附测试、扫描电镜、透射电镜、紫外可见吸收光谱和紫外拉曼光谱等.结果表明,多级孔BEA沸石具有较好的化学稳定性,脱铝-钛化的后处理过程未对样品多级孔结构产生明显影响. 以环己烯和十二烯的烯烃环氧化为探针反应表征了合成多级孔Ti-beta与纯相微孔Ti-beta沸石的催化性能.结果表明,在小分子环己烯的环氧化反应中,多级孔Ti-beta沸石的催化活性(转化率59.4%)与微孔Ti-beta相当(转化率57.9%);但是在较大分子十二烯的催化反应中,多级孔结构Ti-beta材料的催化性能(转化率11.1%)明显优于纯相微孔材料(转化率6.8%),且产物中环氧化物选择性更高(分别为60.3%和37.8%).  相似文献

The peony-like CuO micro/nanostructures were fabricated by a facile hydrothermal approach. The peonylike CuO micro/nanostructures about 3-5 μm in diameter were assembled by CuO nanoplates. These CuO nanoplates, as the building block, were self-assembled into multilayer structures under the action of ethidene diamine, and then grew into uniform peony-like CuO architecture. The novel peony-like CuO micro/nanostructures exhibit a high cycling stability and improved rate capability. The peony-like CuO micro/nanostructures electrodes show a high reversible capacity of 456 mAh/g after 200 cycles, much higher than that of the commercial CuO nanocrystals at a current 0.1 C. The excellent electrochemical performance of peony-like CuO micro/nanostructures might be ascribed to the unique assembly structure, which not only provide large electrode/electrolyte contact area to accelerate the lithiation reaction, but also the interval between the multilayer structures of CuO nanoplates electrode could provide enough interior space to accommodate the volume change during Li~+ insertion and de-insertion process.  相似文献
