This paper is concerned with the dissipativity and asymptotic stability of the theoretical solutions of a class of nonlinear neutral delay integro-differential equations (NDIDEs). We first give a generalization of the Halanay inequality which plays an important role in the study of dissipativity and stability of differential equations. Then, we apply the generalization of the Halanay inequality to NDIDEs and the dissipativity and the asymptotic stability results of the theoretical solution of NDIDEs are obtained. From a numerical point of view, it is important to study the potential of numerical methods in preserving the qualitative behavior of the analytical solutions. Therefore, the results, presented in this paper, provide the theoretical foundation for analyzing the dissipativity and the asymptotic stability of the numerical methods when they are applied to these systems.  相似文献

Green fluorescent proteins (GFPs) have become powerful markers for numerous biological studies due to their robust fluorescence properties, site-specific labeling, pH sensitivity, and mutations for multiple-site labeling. Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) studies have indicated that fluorescence blinking of anionic GFP mutants takes place on a time scale of 45-300 ms, depending on pH, and have been attributed to external proton transfer. Here we present experimental evidence indicating that conformational change in the protein &beta-barrel is a determining step for the external protonation of GFP-S65T (at low pH) using time-resolved fluorescence and polarization anisotropy measurements. While the average anionic fluorescence lifetime of GFP-S65T is reduced by approximately 18% over a pH range of 3.6-10.0, the fluorescence polarization anisotropy decays mostly as a single exponential with a rotational time of phi = 17 +/- 1 ns, which indicates an intact beta-barrel with a hydrodynamic volume of 78 +/- 5 nm3. In contrast, the total fluorescence (525 +/- 50 nm) of the excited neutral state of S65T reveals a strong correlation between the fluorescence lifetime, structural conformation, and pH. The average fluorescence lifetime of the excited neutral state of S65T as a function of pH yields pKa approximately 5.9 in agreement with literature values using steady-state techniques. Hydrophobic and oleophobic surfaces with multi-scale structures were prepared on epoxy coating surfaces by using a facile process with fluorosilicone copolymer and SiO2 nano-particles. The fluorosilicone copolymers were synthesized using perfluoroalkyl acrylate (FA), vinyltriethoxysilane (VTES) and styrene (St) as comonomers via radical emulsion polymerization. In this paper, the surface properties of epoxy coating modified by fluorosilicone copolymer and SiO2 nano-particles were analyzed by using the contact angle measurement. The results showed that the modified epoxy coating surface exhibited not only excellent hydrophobicity but also oleophobicity, the water contact angle reached as high as 149° and the oil (atoleine) contact angle 101°, respectively.  相似文献

We show that magnetic nanoparticles can be functionalized with graphene oxide (GO-MNPs) in two reaction steps, and that such nanoparticles can be used as adsorbents for the removal of phthalate esters (PAEs) from water samples. The GO-MNPs were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, zeta potential, and vibrating sample magnetometer. The impacts of contact time, sample pH, ionic strength and sample volume on the adsorption process were investigated. The maximum adsorption capacity for diethyl phthalate was calculated to be 8.71 mg g?1 according to the Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The adsorption efficiency was tested by removal of PAEs. More than 99 % of the total quantity of PAEs (0.12 mg L?1) in 500 mL real water samples can be removed when GO-MNPs (275–330 mg) were used as an adsorbent. In addition, other species (estriol and fluorene) containing benzene rings were also almost completely removed with the PAEs using GO-MNPs, indicating that GO-MNPs are suitable for the removal of the species containing π-electron system through π-π interactions.

Liquid-crystal elastomers (LCEs) capable of performing large and reversible deformation in response to an external stimulus are an important class of soft actuators. However, their manufacturing process typically involves a multistep approach that requires harsh conditions. For the very first time, LCEs with customized geometries that can be manufactured by a rapid one-step approach at room temperature are developed. The LCEs are hydrogen bond (H-bond) crosslinked main chain polymers comprising flexible short side chains. Applying a stretching/shear force to the LCE can simultaneously induce mesogen alignment and H-bond exchange, allowing for the formation of well-aligned LCE networks stabilized by H-bonds. Based on this working principle, soft actuators in fibers and 2D/3D objects can be manufactured by mechanical stretching or melt extrusion within a short time (e.g. <1 min). These actuators can perform reversible macroscopic motions with large, controlled deformations up to 38 %. The dynamic nature of H-bonds also provides the actuators with reprocessability and reprogrammability. Thus, this work opens the way for the one-step and custom manufacturing of soft actuators.  相似文献

In this paper, we first introduce the test problem classes with respect to the initial value problems of nonlinear stiff impulsive differential equations in Banach spaces. The stability and asymptotic stability results of the analytic solution of the above-mentioned problems are obtained. We have surface-functionalized magnetic particles (MPs) with polydimethylsiloxane and multi-walled carbon nanotubes in a two-step reaction. The MPs were applied to solid-phase extraction of the fluoroquinolones ofloxacin, norfloxacin, ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin prior to their determination by capillary liquid chromatography. The effects of sample pH, adsorption time, type of eluent, desorption time and desorption temperature were investigated. Under the optimum conditions, the extraction efficiencies are in the range from 81.5?% to 94.1?%, with relative standard deviations (RSDs) of <7.6?%. The detection limits vary from 0.24 to 0.48?ng?mL?1. The method was applied to the analysis of spiked mineral water and honey. The recoveries for the fluoroquinolones in the real samples range from 84.0?% to 112?%, with RSDs ranging from 2.9?% to 7.8?%.
