The corrosion inhibition efficiency of 3-acetylpyridine-semicarbazide (3APSC) on carbon steel (CS) in 1.0 M HCl solution has been investigated using weight loss measurements, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and potentiodynamic polarization studies. The results show that inhibition efficiency on metal increases with the inhibitor concentration. 3APSC exhibited marked inhibition towards carbon steel in HCl medium even at low concentrations. The adsorption of inhibitor on the surfaces of the corroding metal obeys the Langmiur isotherm and thermodynamic parameters (K ads, ?G ads 0 ) were calculated. Activation parameters of the corrosion process (E a, ?H* and ?S*) were also calculated from the corrosion rates. Polarization studies revealed that 3APSC act as a mixed-type inhibitor. Surface analysis of the metal specimens was performed by scanning electron microscopy.  相似文献

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) from silver nitrate solution are carried out using the flower extract of Calotropis gigantea. Silver nanoparticles were characterized by UV–vis spectrophotometer, X-Ray diffractometer (XRD). Reduction of silver ions in the aqueous solution of silver during the reaction was observed by UV–vis spectroscopy. Crystalline nature of synthesized silver nanoparticles was studied by XRD pattern, refraction peak using the Scherrer’s equation. Antibacterial activity of the silver nanoparticles was performed by disc diffusion method against Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas putida and Escherichia coli. The antibacterial activity of synthesized silver nanoparticles by flower extract of C. gigantea was found against B. subtilis (10 mm). Synthesised AgNPs has the efficient antibacterial activity against Gram positive bacteria.  相似文献

Silica fume (SF) is silica-rich amorphous waste by-product obtained during zirconium silicate electrofusion process. The key objective of the study was to determine the efficiency of SF as a reinforcing filler in Natural Rubber (NR) compounds vis a vis the conventional filler, high abrasion furnace (HAF) black. Inter-particle distance and particle size distribution analysis from Transmission Electron Microscopy exhibited homogeneous dispersion of filler in hybrid composite (NR SF20/HAF30) with Bis[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl] tetrasulfide (TESPT). NR composite with 20 phr SF loading improved modulus by 107%, tensile strength by 12%, and tear strength by 28% over gum NR. Hybrid composite showed 111% increase in modulus than NR SF20 composite. Theoretical modelling of Young's modulus with volume fraction of filler quite fit with Guth-Gold equation. Hybrid composite with TESPT showed 72% reduction in heat build-up compared to NR HAF50 composite. Thermal stability improved by 6 °C and rolling resistance reduced by 64% for hybrid TESPT composite compared to NR HAF50 composite. Constrained region in NR composites obtained from dynamic mechanical analysis showed improved rubber-filler interaction in hybrid TESPT composite. Hence, this work not only provides a new approach to utilize industrial waste but also provides for a high performance NR composite at low cost.  相似文献

The forced convection heat transfer resulting from the flow of a uniform stream over a flat surface on which there is a convective boundary condition is considered. In previous papers [5], [6], [7], [8] it was assumed that the convective heat transfer parameter hf associated with the hot surface depended on x, where x measures distance along the surface, so that problem could be reduced to similarity form. Here it is assumed that this heat transfer parameter hf is a constant, with the result that the temperature profiles and overall heat transfer characteristics evolve as the solution develops from the leading edge. The heat transfer near the leading edge (small x), which we find to be dominated by the surface heat flux, the solution at large distances along the surface (large x), which dominated by the surface temperature, are discussed. A numerical solution to the full problem is then obtained for a range of values of the Prandtl number to join these two solution regimes.  相似文献

High permittivity and low-loss ceramic fillers have been prepared by means of the solid state ceramic route. Ceramic-filled composites were prepared by the Sigma Mixing, Extrusion, Calendering, which was followed by the Hot pressing (SMECH) process. The microwave dielectric properties of the composites were studied using X-band waveguide cavity perturbation technique. The temperature coefficient of the relative permittivity of the composites was investigated in the 0-100 °C temperature range using a hot and cold chamber coupled with an impedance analyzer. The temperature coefficient of the relative permittivity of the composites showed strong dependence on the temperature coefficient of the relative permittivity of the filler material. In the present study, a high-permittivity polymer/ceramic composite, having τεr ∼63 ppm/K, has been realized. This composite is suitable for outdoor wireless applications.  相似文献

In the current research work, submicron size single-phase NaFePO4 (NFP) nanoparticles are successfully synthesized using the solution combustion method. The calcination of as synthesized NFP powder is done at 700 °C for 5h in the air atmosphere and it shows the maricite phase crystallized into an orthorhombic structure with a surface area of 9.29 m2/g.  The intermolecular vibrations of the (PO4)3− group are identified in the FTIR spectra. The XPS spectra of NFP confirms the presence of Fe and P in +2 and +5 oxidation states, respectively. The coin cell assembled using calcined NFP powder shows a pair of redox peaks at 2.42 and 2.69 V vs. Na/Na+ owing to Na-ion insertion and extraction. NFP material delivers a specific capacity of 28 mAh/g at 0.1 C with 92% capacity retention after 35 cycles.  相似文献

We study an (sS) production inventory system where the processing of inventory requires a positive random amount of time. As a consequence a queue of demands is formed. Demand process is assumed to be Poisson, duration of each service and time required to add an item to the inventory when the production is on, are independent, non-identically distributed exponential random variables. We assume that no customer joins the queue when the inventory level is zero. This assumption leads to an explicit product form solution for the steady state probability vector, using a simple approach. This is despite the fact that there is a strong correlation between the lead-time (the time required to add an item into the inventory) and the number of customers waiting in the system. The technique is: combine the steady state vector of the classical M/M/1 queue and the steady state vector of a production inventory system where the service is instantaneous and no backlogs are allowed. Using a similar technique, the expected length of a production cycle is also obtained explicitly. The optimal values of S and the production switching on level s have been studied for a cost function involving the steady state system performance measures. Since we have obtained explicit expressions for the performance measures, analytic expressions have been derived for calculating the optimal values of S and s.  相似文献

In this study, firstly, the pharmacophore model was established based on LAR inhibitors. ZINC database and drug-like database were screened by Hypo-1-LAR model, and the embryonic compound ZINC71414996 was obtained. Based on this compound, we designed 9 compounds. Secondly, the synthetic route of the compound was determined by consulting Reaxys and Scifinder databases, and 9 compounds (1a-1i) were synthesized by nucleophilic substitution, Suzuki reaction and so on. Meanwhile, their structures were confirmed by 1H NMR and 13C NMR. Thirdly, the Enzymatic assays was carried out, the biological evaluation of compounds 1a-1i led to the identification of a novel PTP-LAR inhibitor 1c, which displayed an IC50 value of 4.8 μM. At last, molecular dynamics simulation showed that compounds could interact strongly with the key amino acids LYS1350, LYS1352, ARG1354, TYR1355, LYS1433, ASP1435, TRP1488, ASP1490, VAL1493, SER1523, ARG1528, ARG1561, GLN1570, LYS1681, thereby inhibiting the protein activity. This study constructed the pharmacophore model of LAR protein, designed small-molecule inhibitors, conducted compound synthesis and enzyme activity screening, so as to provide a basis for searching for drug-capable lead compounds.  相似文献
