The effect of phase‐pure cristobalite (a high temperature crystalline polymorph of silica) on the adhesive characteristics of hydroxyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) was studied. The potential advantages of PDMS/cristobalite composite system as an adhesive for aerospace applications are also discussed. A PDMS/cristobalite composite adhesive system containing different filler contents (0–46 volume percentage, vol%) was prepared. The filler material, phase‐pure cristobalite, was synthesized by the pyrolysis of fused silica at 1400°C. The mechanical, rheological, and thermal characteristics of the composites were studied. A high yield stress (0.151 Pa), shear‐thinning index (1.051), and fast recovery rate were observed for ~34 vol% cristobalite loading, which indicate that PDMS retains its excellent adhesive and flow characteristics even at high filler loading with enhanced mechanical characteristics. Thermal analysis shows the onset of degradation of PDMS shifts to higher temperatures, 372–438°C and 317–417°C in nitrogen and air atmosphere respectively, which shows excellent thermal stability. The residual component yields after thermal degradation of PDMS/cristobalite composite system in nitrogen and air atmosphere show different degradation mechanisms. Abstract

Toxicity of the pesticide carbofuran (CF) can be alleviated by curcumin, if not for its poor bioavailability. Hence, we investigated the effect of a bioavailable curcumin-galactomannan complex (CGM) on CF-induced neurotoxicity in rats in comparison to that of unformulated standard curcumin (CS). The CF (5?mg/kg b.wt/day) treatment for 90?days produced chronicity model which were treated with either CS or CGM (100?mg/kg b.wt and 250?mg/kg b.wt/day) for another 30?days. Improvement in CF-induced behaviour was evident in endurance, motor co-ordination and pain response on both CS (p?<?0.01) and CGM (p?<?0.001) supplementation. Amelioration of CF-induced toxicity parameters, oxidative stress, and mitochondrial dysfunction on CS (p?<?0.01) and CGM (p?<?0.001) supplementation was further confirmed by histopathology of brain and liver tissues. But, CGM was more effective in mitigating CF toxicity, with results comparable to that of normal. Hence, CGM might be superior in toxicity management against CF.  相似文献

The present work aims to prepare thermal and oxidation resistant Natural Rubber (NR) composites using antioxidant-modified nanosilica (MNS). The thermo-oxidative aging performance of the composites was evaluated by the variations in mechanical properties after aging at 100 °C for 24 h. The performance was further monitored through Scanning Electron Microscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy, Thermogravimetric Analysis, and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis. NR nanocomposite with 1–7.5 phr nanosilica (NS) and 3 phr MNS were prepared and its rheological properties were studied. A comparative study of the theoretical models yielded that modified Guth-Gold equation predicted Young's modulus better than other models. Thermal stability of natural rubber MNS composite was improved by 10 °C with pre-eminent mechanical properties like tensile strength and heat build-up. A linear relationship of compression set with modulus of all composites were also established. Equilibrium swelling test revealed improved crosslink density in NR MNS composite. The strong interaction between antioxidant and nanosilica enabled low migration of antioxidant in NR MNS composite. Hence its protective function after aging showed more effective than NR NS composites. These versatile functional properties of NR MNS composite suggest its potential application in electrical, electronic and high performance rubber products.  相似文献

It is shown using the semigroup structure of Mn(\mathbbK)M_{n}(\mathbb{K}) that the Green classes of the multiplicative semigroup Mn(\mathbbK)M_{n}(\mathbb{K}) of linear endomorphisms of an n-dimensional vector space V over \mathbbK\mathbb{K} (=ℝ, or ℂ) are the total spaces of certain fibre bundles having various Grassmann manifolds as the base spaces and the maps x↦R(x), x↦N(x) as the projection maps. In the case of a -class the fibre space is a certain Stiefel manifold and in the case of - and -classes the fibre space is a general linear group. The bundle structures are established by constructing representative coordinate bundles. It is also shown that the bundles having x↦R(x) as the projection map are equivalent to the bundles having x↦N(x) as the projection map.  相似文献

Mn1−xZnxFe2O4 nanoparticles (x=0-1) were synthesized by wet chemical co-precipitation techniques. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy were effectively utilized to investigate the different structural parameters. The elemental analysis was conducted using energy-dispersive spectrum and inductively coupled plasma analysis. The magnetic properties such as magnetization and coercivity were measured using vibrating sample magnetometer. The observed magnetization values of the nanoparticles were found to be lower compared to the bulk counterpart. The magnetization showed a gradual decrease with zinc substitution except for a small increase from x=0.2 to 0.3. The Curie temperature was found to be enhanced in the case of ferrites in the nanoregime. The variation in lattice constant, reduced magnetization values, variation of magnetization with zinc substitution, the presence of a net magnetic moment for the zinc ferrite and the enhancement in Curie temperature in Mn1−xZnxFe2O4 all provide evidence to the existence of a metastable cation distribution together with possible surface effects at the nanoregime.  相似文献

In this work, a novel combination synchronization scheme in which synchronization of a new combination hyperchaotic drive system formed by combining state variables of the original drive system with appropriate scaling factors with a response hyperchaotic system is considered. A self-combination system is constructed from hyperchaotic Lorenz system by combining state variables of the Lorenz system with appropriate scaling factors. Modified function projective synchronization between the newly constructed combination hyperchaotic Lorenz system and hyperchaotic Lu system is investigated using adaptive method. By Lyapunov stability theory, the adaptive control law and the parameter update law are derived to make the state of two systems as modified function projective synchronized. Numerical simulations are done to show the validity and effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new class of generalized polynomials associated with the modified Milne-Thomson’s polynomials \({\Phi_{n}^{(\alpha)}(x,\nu)}\) of degree n and order α introduced by Dere and Simsek. The concepts of Euler numbers E n , Euler polynomials E n (x), generalized Euler numbers E n (a, b), generalized Euler polynomials E n (x; a, b, c) of Luo et al., Hermite–Bernoulli polynomials \({{_HE}_n(x,y)}\) of Dattoli et al. and \({{_HE}_n^{(\alpha)} (x,y)}\) of Pathan are generalized to the one \({ {_HE}_n^{(\alpha)}(x,y,a,b,c)}\) which is called the generalized polynomials depending on three positive real parameters. Numerous properties of these polynomials and some relationships between E n , E n (x), E n (a, b), E n (x; a, b, c) and \({{}_HE_n^{(\alpha)}(x,y;a,b,c)}\) are established. Some implicit summation formulae and general symmetry identities are derived using different analytical means and applying generating functions.  相似文献

Abstract

This article illustrates the chemical characterization of phenolic compounds, of the selected species of the genus Embelia viz., Embelia ribes, Embelia tsjeriam-cottam, and Embelia basaal using liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry analysis with electrospray ionization (ESI) in negative mode. The analysis of samples allowed first-time identification of different phenolic compounds, which consists of various types of flavonoids, flavonoid glycosides, organic acids, and their derivatives, benzenoids, coumarins, and stilbens in this genus. Seventy-three different phenolic compounds were identified based on the fragment ions, and over thirty unknown compounds with unique fragmentation patterns were further noted. The results of the study offer that the selected species of the genus Embelia, which is being used in centuries-old traditional medical systems, is a promising source of medicinally valuable compounds like luteolin, sinesetin, rutin, naringenin, astragalin, narcissin, vanillic acid, resveratrol, and so on.  相似文献
