A technique for identification of hereditary properties under conditions of short-time creep of Plexiglas is developed. The technique is based on experimental determination of shifting of the center of decaying flexural vibrations of vertically aligned test samples after their preliminary maintaining in a static bent state. Mathematically, the technique is based on using the finite element method and integral equations of the theory of hereditary viscoelasticity with the Koltunov–Rzhanitsyn hereditary kernel. An object function is constructed for identification of rheological parameters of this kernel. The minimum of this function is found by the direct search method, which does not require the function gradient to be known. The hereditary kernel of Plexiglas averaged on the basis of data for several test samples is obtained as a function of time.  相似文献

Based on linearized equations of the theory of elastic stability of straight composite bars with a low shear rigidity, which are constructed using the consistent geometrically nonlinear equations of elasticity theory for small deformations and arbitrary displacements and a kinematic model of Timoshenko type, exact analytical solutions of nonclassical stability problems are obtained for a bar subjected to axial compression and torsion for various modes of end fixation. It is shown that the problem of direct determination of the critical parameter of the compressive load at a given torque parameter leads to transcendental characteristic equations that are solvable only if bar ends have cylindrical hinges. At the same time, we succeeded in obtaining solutions to these equations in terms of wave formation parameters of the bar; these parameters, in turn, enabled us to find the parameter of the critical load at any boundary conditions. Also, an algorithm for numerical solution of the problems stated is proposed, which is based on reducing the problems to systems of integroalgebraic equations with Volterra-type operators and on solving these equations by the method of mechanical quadratures (finite sums). It is demonstrated that such numerical solutions exist only for certain ranges of parameters of the bar and of the parameter of torque. In the general case, they can not be obtained by the numerical method used. It is also shown that the well-known solutions of the stability problem for a bar subjected to torsion or to compression with torsion are in correct. Some results of experimental and numerical studies on the transmission of a nonchain high-frequency (HF) laser beam through germanium (Ge) single crystals of differing thickness and specific resistance are presented. Based on the experimental data for the HF(DF) lasing spectrum, the coefficient of two-photon absorption in germanium has been estimated as K2 = 55 ± 10 cm/GW at λ = 2.8 μm. The results are in good agreement with theory. The developed experimental data-processing software has enabled the numerical study of the transmission of a high-power beam with λ = 2.6–3 μm through Ge at any laser-pulse-impact moment. It has been shown that thin germanium coatings can efficiently smoothen the distribution of energy over the beam aperture for high-power laser radiation with λ = 2.6–4 μm.  相似文献

A method is developed for producing active laser elements (spectrum range 4 to 5 μm) based on polycrystalline solid solutions ZnSxSex-1 doped with iron ions. Bilateral diffusion doping of the elements by Fe2+ ions is performed during hot isostatic pressing. Spectral and energy characteristics of the laser are investigated with the Fe2+:ZnS0.1Se0.9 active element kept at room temperature. It is found that the absorption band of the Fe2+:ZnS0.1Se0.9 crystal is blueshifted with respect to the Fe2+:ZnSe absorption band, while the lasing spectra of the Fe2+:ZnSe and Fe2+:ZnS0.1Se0.9 lasers and their energy parameters are almost identical. The lasing energy of 580 mJ is obtained at the slope efficiency with respect to the absorbed energy of 46%. Further increase in the lasing energy is limited by development of transversal parasitic oscillation at a large size of the pump beam spot.  相似文献

The transmission of high-power HF(DF) laser radiation through Ge single crystals of different quality has been experimentally and numerically investigated. Based on the experimental data for the lasing spectrum, the two-photon absorption coefficient in Ge is estimated to be K2 =55±10 cmGW?1 at λ=2.8μm. The transmission dynamics of high-power radiation with λ=2.6?3 μm through germanium crystals is numerically simulated.  相似文献

Terahertz emission accompanying heating of two-dimensional electrons by a strong electric field applied along size-quantized GaAs/AlGaAs layers is observed and investigated. The emission is due to indirect optical transitions of hot electrons in the bottom size-quantization band. The experimentally obtained emission spectra are compared with the spectra calculated taking into account scattering of electrons by optical phonons, impurities, and interfacial roughness and electron-electron scattering. High-resolution spectroscopy in the mid-infrared spectral range is used to study electronic transitions between size-quantization subbands in stepped quantum wells under picosecond interband excitation. The contributions from intersubband and intrasubband absorption of light are separated by using the difference in time profiles of the absorption coefficient for these cases. For stepped quantum wells, spontaneous interband luminescence and superluminescence are studied for different excitation levels. For structures with quantum dots, the intraband absorption spectra for n-and p-type structures and the spectra of photoinduced intraband absorption and emission (for polarized radiation) for undoped structures are studied.  相似文献

SR-method has been used for studying reactions of muonium as an analogue of a light hydrogen isotope with impurity atoms and point-like defects. The relaxation rate of muonium polarization Mu was measured for 11 samples with different concentrations of impurity atoms and defects. The rate constants of reactions of muonium with Fe, Al, Li, Ba, Cu, Mn, Ti and Pb atoms in quartz were defined.  相似文献
