Polymer blends of sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) and poly(ether sulfone) (PES) in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP) were prepared by solution casting. The investigation on water uptake, methanol uptake, permeability and proton conductivity has been conducted. The spin-lattice relaxation time in the rotating frame of PES/SPEEK blend was obtained from the results of cross-polarization magic angle spinning (CP/MAS) solid state 13C NMR. SPEEK blended with PES resulted in increasing , indicating the molecular motion of polymer chain was reduced. The glass transition temperature of the PES/SPEEK blend membranes were predicted by the Kwei equation. PES plays an important role in the decreasing water uptake, methanol uptake and methanol permeability while enhancing the thermal stability of the blend membrane, which shows the feasibility for direct methanol fuel cell. 相似文献

Analysis shows that it is possible to make use of dispersed magnetic ripple fields to obtain a wide frequency linewidth of permeability spectra of soft magnetic thin films. As-sputtered FeCoN thin film sputtered on flexible Kapton substrate is studied as an example. It has ultrawide frequency linewidths of its resonance peaks in the permeability spectra, compared to its counterpart deposited on Si substrate. The frequency linewidth of FeCoN on Kapton substrate decreases with external magnetic field, showing a different field dependence from that of FeCoN on Si substrate. The ultrawide frequency linewidth and its decrease with external magnetic field are ascribed to the dispersed magnetic ripple fields caused by the flexible substrate. This work shows that the flexible substrate is effective in obtaining a wide frequency linewidth of the permeability spectra of soft magnetic thin films. 相似文献

Co0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticles were prepared using mechanical alloying (MA) and sintering. The crystallite size, coercivity, retentivity and saturation magnetization were also measured. The frequency dependence of dielectric and the magnetic parameters, namely, real permittivity ε′, loss tanget tan δ, real permeability μ′ and loss factor μ″ were measured at room temperature for samples sintered from 600 to 1000 °C, in the frequency range 10 MHz to 1.0 GHz. The results show that the crystallite size of the resulting products ranges between 16 and 67 nm for as-milled sample and the sample sintered at 1000 °C, respectively. The sample sintered at 1000 °C, measured at room temperature exhibited a saturation magnetization of 37 emu g−1. The values of permittivity remain constant within the measured frequency, but vary with sintering temperature. The permeability values, on the other hand however vary with both the sintering temperature and the frequency, thus, the absolute value of the permeability decreased after the natural resonance frequency. 相似文献

The Co-based granular thin films were deposited on the flexible substrate (Kapton) by magnetron sputtering. The films comprise of Co nanocrystallites and small amount of amorphous (Al,O)-rich inter-granular phase and have the electric resistivities in the range 50–120 μΩ cm, depending on the composition and thickness. The as-deposited films with thickness <80 nm have low coercivity (<20 Oe along hard direction), high permeability (up to 500) and resonance frequency up to 2.5 GHz. Compared to the rigid films, the flexible films have relatively higher coercivity and lower resonance frequency. Dense films of poly(vinyltrimethyl silane) (PVTMS) and poly(trimethylsilyl norbornene) (PTMSNB) having different thicknesses in the range l = 5–150 μm were cast from hydrocarbon solutions. It was shown that a density is inversely proportional to the film thickness. The following equation holds for the density ?: 1/? = 1/?0 − b/l. Permeability and diffusion coefficients were determined using the time lag method in respect to different gases. For all the gases, diffusion coefficients decrease when film thickness decreases and film density increases. A correlation of diffusion coefficients with fractional free volume were demonstrated. On the other hand, permeability coefficients are nearly independent of the thickness and density. Possible mechanisms of this behavior are discussed. 相似文献

In this communication, a simple method for the preparation of environmentally responsive membrane, in situ redox-graft pore filling polymerization, was reported. Phenolphthalein poly(ether sulfone) dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide was used to prepare porous membranes by means of classical phase inversion method. After that, methylacrylic acid was grafted successfully onto the membranes using the method reported here. Then, surface chemical changes and membrane morphology changes before and after graft polymerization were investigated by the ATR–FTIR and FESEM, respectively, to ascertain the formation and location of graft. Besides, the graft yield was also determined gravimetrically under different monomer concentrations. At last, in the hydraulic permeability experiments and diffusional permeability experiments using VB12 and KCl as solutes, the grafted membranes prepared using the reported method exhibited marked, rapid and reversible pH-response. 相似文献
