Kinetic exchange models for income and wealth distributions

Increasingly, a huge amount of statistics have been gathered which clearly indicates that income and wealth distributions in various countries or societies follow a robust pattern, close to the Gibbs distribution of energy in an ideal gas in equilibrium. However, it also deviates in the low income and more significantly for the high income ranges. Application of physics models provides illuminating ideas and understanding, complementing the observations.     

嵌入式Web控制终端的物联网移动E-Laboratory平台

为了进一步提高大学校园设备资源的利用率,实现多种实验装置的网络化控制和用户终端移动化。基于物联网技术,将LAMP移植到采用ARM架构的微处理器上,通过搭建嵌入式Web控制终端,对Web服务平台进行了详细的设计,实现了多种实验装置的网络化控制。将单自由度机械臂系统这一实验装置,与EWC_T连接,基于Android操作系统上开发了一个应用,设计并搭建了Mobile Experiment系统,实现了网络化实验室平台的用户终端的移动化。通过实验证明该系统能够可靠地完成对实验装置的远程控制,并具有低功耗、低成本和便携性好等优点。     

基于物联网视觉的大型拥堵车辆调度系统设计

针对道路拥堵车辆调度问题,设计了一种基于物联网视觉的大型拥堵车辆调度系统,分析了系统的总体结构,给出了系统的ZigBee协调器模块、车载传感器节点、图像采集处理模块以及无线传输模块的硬件结构,详细介绍了拥堵车辆调度算法流程,并给出了车辆调度最佳路径算法代码,实现了大型拥堵车辆的有效调度。实验结果说明,所设计系统可获取有效的交通车辆拥堵图像,实现交通拥堵的高效调度。     

云计算环境下蠕虫监控检测与传播模型的研究

针对云计算环境下蠕虫病毒的监控检测及其传播模型的研究,提出了一种云计算环境的蠕虫传播模型——CWPM(Cloud Worm Propagation Model),采用微分方程方法建立了CWPM的数学模型,通过实验定性分析了影响CWPM模型的因素,并与已有传播模型作比较,验证了CWPM传播模型的合理性和有效性。基于GMA模型提出了云计算环境下蠕虫监控检测框架——CWMDF(Cloud Worm Monitor and Detection Framework)。利用CWPM模型对CWMDF的合理性进行了理论分析,提出了系统敏感度参数,通过实验分析CWMDF下影响系统敏感度参数的因素,根据实验结果给出了CWMDF实现的改进方案和建议以达到理想预警效果。实验证明,CWMDF框架的部署能够有效地降低云中蠕虫传播速度,降低蠕虫爆发峰值以及延迟峰值出现的时间。     

物联网嵌入式智能设备实时控制系统设计

随着智能设备功能业务的逐渐扩展,用户对智能设备控制系统的实时性要求越来越高,当前控制系统采用CAN技术实现智能设备与用户间的通信,无法满足用户对系统实时性的需求。提出一种新的物联网嵌入式智能设备实时控制系统,通过构建系统的总体框架,将嵌入式LPC2378 ARM处理器作为核心处理器,通过RS-485总线将智能设备连接在一起,和处理器构成一个总线传输网络,在嵌入式LPC2378 ARM处理器中,将带DMA的10/100M以太网模块和以太网PHY芯片DP83848I连接,以提高数据包的传输效率,增强系统的实时性。系统GPRS模块选择SIM300CZ模块,将远程报警模块和RS-485总线结合在一起,共同实现远程报警和控制功能。软件设计时,给出了软件的整体架构和总体流程图,介绍了部分存储代码。实验结果表明,所设计系统对智能设备有很高的控制性能。     

Development and implementation of an IOT based instrumentation system for computing performance of a tractor-implement system

A high precision and compact IOT based digital instrumentation setup to measure, display and record various tractor and implement system performance parameters was developed and installed on a 28.3 kW Tractor. The setup was capable of continuous monitoring and wirelessly transmitting tractor-implement performance parameters on a cloud platform such as engine speed, radiator fan speed, fuel consumption, draft, forward speed, lift arm angle, wheel slip, wheel slip, PTO speed, geo-location/position of the tractor, choking of seeds in the implement and vibrations experienced by the implement. For precision measurements, commercial transducers used in the system were calibrated and assessed under both static and dynamic conditions. The average calibration constant for fuel consumption, forward speed, lift arm angle and load cell were 0.00009804 L/pulse, 0.01610306 km/h/pulse, 0.056 mA/degree and 0.2575 mV/kN respectively. The system based on DataTaker DT 85 Data logger connected to a micro-computer through transducers capable of transferring data wirelessly was installed on John Deere 5038 tractor and was tested with a Spatially Modified No-Till Drill in agricultural field with varied implement depth.

The use of agent-based models (ABMs) is steadily increasing in all the disciplines including environmental chemistry and toxicology. This growth is mainly driven by their ability to address problems that conventional modelling techniques cannot, such as the change of scale or the emergence of unanticipated phenomena resulting from interactions between their constitutive goal-directed agents. After a brief introduction on the basic principles of agent-based modelling and the presentation of selected case studies, the main software resources available on the Internet are presented. An attempt is made to estimate the complexity of these tools versus their potentialities and flexibility.
