Microwave-assisted Regioselective 1-O-Deacylation of Peracylated Glycopyranoses on Alumina

A facile, rapid and regioselective method for the 1-O-deacylation of peracylated glycopyranoses is described which occurs under mild conditions by absorption onto alumina using microwave irradiation.     

Controlling the gain shape of Er^3＋—doped fluorozirconate fibre amplifier by a coherent field

We proposed a four-level system to explore the quantum interference effects on optical amplification.We found that the gain of the probe.including positions and values of gain peaks,can be adjusted by changing the coherent field and the incoherent pumping.At the same time,we can also modify the absorption profile of electromagnetically induced transparency by the incoherent pump.The results provide a method to flatten the gain of Erbium-doped fibre amplifiers.     

Morphology of Platinum Nanowire Array Electrodepostied Within Anodic Aluminium Oxide Template Characterized by Atomic Force Microscopy

Unifrom platinum nanowires were synthesized by electrodepositing the platinum under a very low altering current frequency(20Hz) and increasing voltage(5-15V）in the proes of anodic aluminium oxide(AAO) template. Atomic force microscopy observation indicates that the template membranes we obtained have hexagonally clse-packed nanochannels.The platinum nanowires have highly ordered arrays after partially dissolving the aluminium oxide membrane.With the increasing dissolvoing time,the platinum nanowire array collapsed.A concave topography of the aluminium substrate was observed after the aluminium oxide membrane was dissolved completely and the platinum nanowires were released from the template.Platinum nanowires were also characterized by transmission electron microscopy and the phase structure of the Al/AAO/Pt composite was proven by x-ray diffraction.     

Simultaneous Measurement of Transverse Load and Temperature Using a single Long—Period Fibre Grating Element

A single long-period fibre grating (LPFG)element written by focused high-fraequency CO2 laser pulses is demonstrated for simultaneous measurement of transverse load and temperature.Temperature and transverse load can be directly measured by detecting the resonant wavelength shift and the resonant peak amplitude change of the LPFG,respectively,as there are two special circular orientations along the fibre axis where the resonant peak amplitude change of the LPFG has a linear relationship with the load applied and is insensitive to the resonant wavelength shift.Such a sensor could solve the cross-sensitivity problem between transverse load and temperature due to the unique feature of this type of LPFG,i.e. the wavelength-load-sensitivity of the LPFG strongly depends on loading orientations due to the non-uniform distribution of the refractive index on the cross-section of the LPFG caused by the thermal shock effect and other effects of the high-frequency CO2 laser pulses exposure method used.     

POROSITY CALCULATION OFMIXTURES OF FIBROUS PARTICLES

The initial forming of fiber blend to high green density, i.e. the packing of fibrous particles, is important to the reinforcement of composite materials. It is very useful to develop a general predictive method for the optimum selection of particle mixtures for the property control of ceramic or composite products. This paper presents such a mathematical model developed on the basis of the similarity analysis between the spherical and non-spherical particle packings and assesses its applicability to the packing of fibrous particles with discrete and/or continuous length distributions. The results indicate that the model can predict this packing system well and hence provide an effective way to solve various packing problems in the composite materials processing.     

Fabrication of Long-Period Fibre Gratings Using 800 nm Femtosecond Laser Pulses

Long-period fibre gratings inside standard single-mode optical communication fibres are successfully fabricated with infrared femtosecond laser pulses. The refractive index perturbations are well confined within the fibre core by choosing the proper laser focusing parameters and translation speed of the fibre during the direct laser writing process. With the self-focusing effect considered and at a constant average irradiation dose of 1.62 × 10^3 J/（cm^2μm）, the threshold intensity for fabricating long-period gratings with infrared femtosecond laser pulses is determined to be 5.13 × 10^13 W/cm2.     

Effect of Alumina and Chromium Interlayers on Microstructures and Optical Properties of Thin Ag Films on Glass Substrates

Effects of alumina and chromium interlayers on the microstructure and optical properties of thin Ag films are investigated by using spectrophotometry, x-ray diffraction and AFM. The characteristics of Ag films in Ag/glass, Ag/l2O3/glass and Ag/Cr/glass stacks are analysed. The results indicate that the insertion of an Al2O3 or Cr layer decreases the grains and influences the reflectance of Ag films. The reflectance of the Ag film can be increased by controlling the thickness of alumina interlayer. The stability of Ag films is improved and the adhesion of Ag films on glass substrates is enhanced by alumina as an interlayer.     

微波消解-原子吸收法测定氧化铝为载体的钯催化剂中钯

报道了微波消解-AAS法测定氧化铝为载体的钯催化剂中钯的新方法,试验了微波消解溶样条件（溶解试剂、压力、时间和功率等）,研究了测定介质的影响,通过在样品测定液中加入铝基体至铝浓度为4 mg/mL,消除了铝对钯测定的干扰.该法测定结果与光度法的结果一致,相对标准偏差小于1.5%（n=5）.     

CuZnAlZr催化剂上甲醇氧化水蒸气重整制氢I．催化剂组成的优化

采用共沉淀法制备了不同配比的CuZnAlZr复合氧化物催化剂，并通过XRD和TPR等表征技术及活性评价，考察了催化剂各组分配比对活性的影响，从而对各组分配比进行了优化．结果表明，组成为(Cu7Zn3)7(Al6Zr4)3的催化剂具有最高的催化活性，反应温度为200℃时，甲醇转化率可高达91％，而重整气体中CO的体积分数仅为0．12％．具有较高分散性及高还原性能的表相Cu组分的增加有利于提高催化剂的活性，Zn可以起到隔离和分散Cu的作用，而Al和Zr的存在可以稳定表相Cu^2 的存在形式．
