Ag nanoparticle (NP)‐decorated MIL‐125(Ti) microspheres (Ag@MIL‐125(Ti)) were firstly fabricated via a facile hydrothermal and following photo‐reduction method. The photocatalysts were characterized using X‐ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopies, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and UV–visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The characterization results indicated that Ag NPs were dispersed on the surface of MIL‐125(Ti) microspheres, and the Ag NPs had a uniform diameter of about 40 nm. The composites exhibited excellent visible‐light absorption, due to the modification with the Ag NPs. The photocatalytic activity for the visible‐light‐promoted degradation of Rhodamine B was improved through the optimization of the amount of Ag loaded as a co‐catalyst, this amount being determined as 3 wt%. Additionally, studies performed using radical scavengers indicated that O2? and e? served as the main reactive species. The catalyst can be reused at least five times without significant loss of its catalytic activity. A simple and sensitive kinetic fluorimetric method is reported for the determination of trace amount of formaldehyde. The proposed method is based on the catalytic effect of formaldehyde on the oxidation reaction of rhodamine B with potassium chlorate in sulfuric acid solution. Formaldehyde in the range of 0.020-0.340 µg/mL can be determined with a limit of detection of 5.73 ng/mL. The method has been used to determine trace formaldehyde in fabric and in indoor air. The results thus obtained show good agreement with those determined by acetyl acetone method.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this work, a new turn-on fluorescent probe 1 for Hg2+ ions detection based on rhodamine B spirolactam was reported. Among tested metal ions, probe 1 shows high selectivity towards Hg2+ in the the mixture solution of methanol and 0.02 M HEPES buffer (V/V = 9:1, pH = 7.2). No absorption and emission band of probe 1 was observed in the range from 450 to 700 nm. While only addition of Hg2+ to probe 1 could lead to appearance of a new absorption band centered at 553 nm and a fluorescence emission band around 577 nm upon excitation at 520 nm. Moreover, it exhibits excellent linear relationship (R2 = 0.9993) between fluorescence intensity at 577 nm and the concentration of Hg2+ from 1.6 to 32 μM. The sensing mechanism was proven to be spirolactam ring open induced by Hg2+ through 1H NMR, MS, absorption and fluorescence spectra. In addition, probe 1 could detect Hg2+ in real water samples and on filter paper, which demonstrates its application in environment science.  相似文献

With the development of single-molecule detection and super-resolution fluorescence imaging, rhodamine dyes gain new life. Through the modification of the N-substituents and the replacement of the oxygen atom in xanthene, the wavelength and brightness can be effectively changed. However, the spectra of rhodamine, especially due to the balance between ring-closed non-fluorescent lactone and ring-opened fluorescent zwitterion/cation, are sensitive to interference from various environmental factors. In this way, the spectral data of various rhodamines reported by different research groups under different test conditions lacked comparability, sometimes even lacked accuracy. In order to meet the requirements for the accuracy and uniformity of spectral data in the research of single molecule imaging and dye structure-fluorescence relationship study, we have tested the spectra of fifteen rhodamine dyes that cover the visible and near-infrared regions under exactly the same conditions. By studying the dependence of the spectra on dye concentrations, it was confirmed that 1 μmol/L was ideal for detection less from the interference of dye molecule aggregation. We provide comprehensive and reliable spectral data of these fifteen dyes, which are expected to be used as references for future research. And the direct comparison of different rhodamine spectra would help to understand the structure-fluorescence relationship of rhodamines.  相似文献

The adsorption behavior of Rhodamine B dye from aqueous solutions was investigated onto the cation-exchange resin, Duolite C-20 (hydrogen form). The effects of various experimental factors; sorbent amount, contact time, dye concentration and temperature, were studied by using the batch technique. Lagergren pseudo-first-order equation shows good applicability with high correlation coefficients for all ranges of initial dye concentrations and at different temperatures. This equation was used to describe the kinetics of the dye adsorption process. The adsorption constants were evaluated by using both the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm models. Thermodynamic parameters were obtained and it was found that the adsorption of Rhodamine B dye onto Duolite C-20 resin was an endothermic and spontaneous process at the temperatures under investigation.  相似文献

Gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) were synthesized by reducing HAuCl4 with sodium citrate. The sensitivity and selectivity of gold amalgam catalytic degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) system for mercury detection were investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy and ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy. In the experiment, students' interest in scientific research and exploratory spirit will be stimulated, students' comprehensive experimental operation skills and subjective initiative will be improved, the understanding and application of nanoparticles preparation, characterization, catalytic reaction knowledge and metal ion analysis methods will be enhanced. 通过罗丹明B与乙二胺反应生成的中间体合成了一例可以对铜离子进行比色检测的探针R-Cu.R-Cu可以实现对在HEPES(5 mmol/L;pH 7.4)溶液中Cu2+的比色可视化识别,加入Cu2+后,R-Cu的吸收明显增强,呈现出罗丹明B的紫红色.探针对Cu2+具有较高的选择性和灵敏性,对其他常见的金属离子具有较强的抗干扰能力.该探针可以在较宽的特别是近中性pH环境下有效检测Cu2+,最低检出限为2.70×10?7 mol/L.  相似文献
