In the preceding paper under the same title we have formulated a theorem which describes the set of states (i.e., probability measures on phase space of an infinite system of particles inR ^v) corresponding to stationary solutions of the BBGKY hierarchy. We have proved the following statement: ifG is a Gibbs measure (Gibbs random point field) corresponding to a stationary solution of the BBGKY hierarchy, then its generating function satisfies a differential equation which is conjugated to the BBGKY hierarchy. The present paper deals with the investigation of the conjugated equation for the generating function in particular cases.     

Influence of carbon support pretreatment on properties of Pd/C catalysts

Preoxidation of the surface of carbon support was found to increase the dispersity of palladium and activity of Pd/C catalysts obtained by reduction of supported Pd(OAc)₂, in hydrogenation of olefins. Probable reasons for this effect are discussed.

The influence of grafted functional groups on the adsorption properties of silica

The adsorption properties of silica gel with grafted aminopropyl and guanidinoethanethiol (GET) groups were studied by the techniques of adsorption under static conditions and gas chromatography. It was shown that molecules capable of forming hydrogen bonds are adsorbed on all modified samples more weakly than on the initial silica gel. The grafting of GET radicals on the surface results in a noticiable increase in the dispersion interaction with adsorbed molecules. Calculation of the contributions of molecular groups to the constant of adsorption equilibrium showed that the thermodynamic characteristics of adsorption on aminosilochromes and aminosilicas with a polymeric layer of the modifying agent have similar values. Structure of inorganic nanoclusters embedded in solid matrixes: an X-ray absorption study

Results of X-ray absorption studies of copper nanoclusters embedded in SiO₂ matrix and selenium chains confined in channels of cancrinite are reported. Initially randomly distributed copper atoms mainly surrounded by silicon species in an as-made film upon annealing form copper nanoclusters with a characteristic size of 80 Å and the structure identical to that of bulk copper. The characteristic size of the clusters does not increase with further annealing. Selenium in cancrinite is shown to form strongly oriented linear dimerised chains with a bond length much larger than that in bulk forms of selenium.
