Analysis of single-particle energies of doubly magic <Superscript>100,132</Superscript>Sn nuclei within the dispersive optical model

Extrapolation of the single-particle energies E _nlj of the bound states of neutrons and protons in the ^{112,116,118,120,124}Sn isotopes has been performed to estimate the values of E _nlj for unstable doubly magic ₅₀ ¹⁰⁰ Sn₅₀ and ₅₀ ¹³² Sn₈₂ nuclei. The estimates obtained are compared with the data derived from the analysis of the decay spectra of neighboring radioactive nuclei and with the results of the calculation within the dispersive optical model.     

Neutron single-particle structure of <Superscript>48</Superscript>Ca, <Superscript>50</Superscript>Ti, <Superscript>52</Superscript>Cr, <Superscript>54</Superscript>Fe,and <Superscript>56</Superscript>Ni nuclei

The change in the neutron single-particle structure of (1f?2p)-shell magic nuclei near the Fermi energy with an increase in the number of protons in the 1f _7/2 subshell from 0 for ⁴⁸Ca to 8 for ⁵⁶Ni has been investigated. Good agreement of the experimental and estimated values of the single-particle energies E _nlj of the bound states of neutrons in these nuclei with the results of calculations within the dispersive optical model is obtained.     

On double magicity of the <Stack><Subscript>28</Subscript><Superscript>68</Superscript></Stack>Ni<Subscript>40</Subscript> nucleus

Single-particle energies E _nlj of neutron states in the ₂₈ ⁶⁸ Ni₄₀ nucleus are estimated on the basis of extrapolation of the experimental values of E _nlj in the ^58,60,62,64Ni isotopes. The data obtained are compared with the results of calculation within the dispersion optical model.     

Colloido-chemical characteristics of porous glasses with different compositions in KNO3 solutions. 1. Structural and electrokinetic characteristics of membranes

The structural (specific surface area, liquid-filtration coefficient, average pore radius, volume porosity, and structural-resistance coefficient) and electrokinetic (counterion transport numbers, specific electrical conductivity, and electrokinetic potential) characteristics of porous glasses with different compositions have been determined in potassium nitrate solutions with concentrations of 10^?3–10^?1 M. All the membranes under investigation have been shown to exhibit the dependences of efficiency coefficients and counterion transport numbers on electrolyte concentration and pore size that are predicted by the theory of an electrical double layer. It has been established that, at a constant electrolyte concentration, the absolute values of electrokinetic potential increase with the average pore radius because of variations in the slipping-plane position.     

Synthesis in the phenothiazine series

The UV spectra of 18 phenothiazine derivatives and seven diphenylamine derivatives having similar substituents in the corresponding positions of the benzene ring are presented.
