Quantum Tunneling of Massive Particles from a Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger Dilatonic Black Hole

Hawking radiation is viewed as a process of quantum tunneling. The massive particles‘ tunneling from Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger black hole is investigated. Using Jingyi Zhang‘s de Broglie wave method, we get the unthermal spectrum, and the result is consistent with the underlying unitary theory.     

The statement and numerical solution of an optimization problem in X-ray tomography

A nonclassical problem is considered for the transport equation with coefficients depending on the energy of radiation. The task is to find the discontinuity surfaces for the coefficients of the equation from measurements of the radiation flux leaving the medium. For this tomography problem, an optimization problem is stated and numerically analyzed. The latter consists in determining the radiation energy that ensures the best reconstruction of the unknown medium. A simplified optimization problem is solved analytically.     

CuPc molecules adsorbed on Au(1 1 0)-(1 × 2): growth morphology and evolution of valence band states

We present the growth morphology, the long-range ordering, and the evolution of the valence band electronic states of ultrathin films of copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) deposited on the Au(1 1 0)-(1 × 2) reconstructed surface, as a function of the organic molecule coverage. The low energy electron diffraction patterns present a (5 × 3) reconstruction from the early adsorption stages. High-resolution UV photoelectron spectroscopy data show the disappearance of the Au surface states related to the (1 × 2) reconstruction, and the presence of new electronic features related to the molecule-substrate interaction and to the CuPc molecular states. The CuPc highest occupied molecular orbital gradually emerges in the valence band, while the interface electronic states are quenched, upon increasing the coverage.     

Depth profile analysis of polyimide film treated by potassium hydroxide

The structural change in the depth direction of a polyimide (UPILEX‐S) film treated in alkaline solution, which was a representative surface treatment used to form a seed layer for plating and to improve the adhesive strength, was analyzed by means of micro Fourier transform infrared attenuated total reflection (FTIR‐ATR) line analysis with gradient shaving preparation. The polyimide film was treated with KOH. The imide ring opened through the alkaline treatment, and the amide structure and carboxylic acid salt were formed. The attainment depth of this structural change was almost proportional to the treatment time, and it reached about 8 μm after a 30‐min treatment. The degree of structural change through the alkaline treatment was almost constant after it reached a considerably degraded stage, and the chemically changed region penetrated into the inner part of the film from the surface. An intermediate layer before the final degraded stage appeared in the treated layer, and its thickness increased with the treatment time. The region that was changed chemically by the alkaline treatment progressed to the inner part simultaneously and continuously as the treatment time increased. The combined use of gradient shaving preparation and micro FTIR‐ATR line analysis was found to be extremely effective for the depth profiling of organic materials. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Hawking Radiation of Dirac Particles in a Nonuniformly Rectilinearly Accelerating Black Hole

The Hawking radiation of Dirac particles on the event horizon of a nonuniformly rectilinearly accelerating black hole is studied in this paper. First, we construct the symmetrized null tetrad from which the spin coefficients and Dirac equation are derived. Next, by proposing generalized tortoise coordinate transformation, the decoupling problem of the Dirac equation with nonzero rest mass is solved. Finally, by analytic continuation, the Hawking thermal spectrum formula of Dirac particle for nonuniformly rectilinearly accelerating black hole is obtained.     

Anti-Stokes Bands of Intrinsic Radiation in Undoped GaAs Crystals

It has been established that undoped gallium crystals exhibit anti-Stokes radiation with energy corresponding to the interband recombination of these crystals. Its appearance is most probably determined by EL2 defects, and its intensity depends on the product of the cross sections for photoionization of electrons and the holes from these defects.     

神光Ⅱ上柱形黑腔辐射驱动冲击波

利用神光Ⅱ的八路三倍频激光装置，驱动柱形黑腔产生的x 射线作辐射源驱动台阶铝样品产生冲击波，获得了清晰的冲击波图像，通过冲击波过台阶样 品的时间差获得冲击波速度和压力分别为31.2km/s和17.5×10⁵MPa.采用软x射线能谱 仪通过激光注入孔测量的辐射温度与采用冲击波法测量辐射温度的结果一致. 关键词： 冲击波 辐射驱动 辐射温度     

On gravitational radiation and the energy flux of matter

A suitable derivative of Einstein's equations in the framework of the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity (TEGR) yields a continuity equation for the gravitational energy‐momentum. In particular, the time derivative of the total gravitational energy is given by the sum of the total fluxes of gravitational and matter fields energy. We carry out a detailed analysis of the continuity equation in the context of Bondi and Vaidya's metrics. In the former space‐time the flux of gravitational energy is given by the well known expression in terms of the square of the news function. It is known that the energy definition in the realm of the TEGR yields the ADM (Arnowitt‐Deser‐Misner) energy for appropriate boundary conditions. Here we show that the same energy definition also describes the Bondi energy. The analysis of the continuity equation in Vaidya's space‐time shows that the variation of the total gravitational energy is determined by the energy flux of matter only.     

Photochemical Reactions of Protein Tryptophanyls in the Eye Lenses of Rats in the Presence of Chloroform

The modifying action of chloroform on photochemical reactions induced in the eye lenses of rats by UVB radiation is revealed. In anesthetic concentrations, halogenmethane increases the quantum yield of photodisintegration of protein tryptophanyls with formation of a new photochemical product that absorbs radiation in the UVA range and possesses the photosensitizing activity.     

利用相干渡越辐射测量电子束团长度的分析与计算

利用相干渡越辐射(CTR)测量短和超短电子束团长度是国际上束测领域新发展的频域测量技术.文中理论分析和数值计算了北京自由电子激光装置的皮秒级的射频电子束团序列产生的CTR,当辐射波长在长于束长(4ps)时,渡越辐射发生相干增强效应;与非相干渡越辐射相比,当λ≥2πσz时,增强的倍数约等于束团中粒子的数目(10⁸);CTR从亚毫米波到毫米波段呈宽带连续谱特性;渡越辐射能量主要集中在轴线附近,宏脉冲辐射能量高达几毫焦.设计采用偏振型束团长度测量系统,利用CTR自相关技术,实验测量该束团序列的纵向长度,并藉助傅里叶变换光谱法,推求束团电子分布.
