Evanescent wave configuration has been extensively used in the development of fiber-optic sensor for different biomedical applications. In the present investigation we have theoretically proposed the designing of single-mode and multimode optical fiber sensing probes, which can be prepared by removing a few centimeters of cladding near the distal end of the step index optical fiber. In this theoretical study, we found that the removal of cladding causes V-number mismatching and this has led to the loss of signal acquisition from the sensing region. Therefore, to minimize these losses we have proposed to reduce the radius by step etch and tapering technique. It was found that step etching and tapering enhances the strength and penetration depth of the evanescent wave significantly. 相似文献

AbstractPartial least squares model is widely used in estimation of soil physical and chemical parameters such as soil organic matter and moisture content, due to its advantages in dealing with collinearity of variables like hyperspectral reflectance. However, it is hard to determine optimal combination of partial least squares model input for soil organic matter prediction since there are lots of possibilities such as, different mathematical transformation of spectral reflectance, wavelength ranges, and spectral resolution. Laboratory hyperspectral reflectance of soils in Songnen plain were analyzed in this study, and the orthogonal experimental design method for deriving optimal combination of input variables for soil organic matter prediction models was introduced. For intercalating orthogonal experimental design table, five different levels which commonly used by researchers were assigned to factors. Results show that the optimal combination input for single black soil is using the derivative logarithmic reciprocal reflectance in the wavelength range selected by multiple stepwise regression at a spectral resolution of 5?nm (R2=?0.95, RMSE?=?0.21, and RPD?=?4.49), and different soils is using continuum removed in the wavelength range selected by MSR at a spectral resolution of 5?nm (R2?=?0.77, RMSE?=?0.74, and RPD?=?2.08). With optimal combination input, the partial least squares model prediction ability was evaluated as excellent for single black soil, possible for different soils. This study illustrates the orthogonal experimental design method can be an effective way to identify the optimal input variables of a partial least squares model for soil organic matter prediction, and multiple stepwise regression can be a preprocessing step to reduce hyperspectral data redundancy before using partial least squares to predict soil organic matter. 研究了时间延迟积分型面阵互补金属氧化物半导体(CMOS)图像传感器调制传递函数(MTF)速度失配特性,在分析累加级数、像素尺寸、镜头放大倍数、行周期及电机运动速度失配等影响因素的基础上,建立了MTF速度失配模型。基于现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)开发板,搭建面阵CMOS图像传感器实现线阵时间延时积分(TDI)的CMOS测试系统。实验结果表明,在光强为3lx,速度失配M(ΔV/V)<2,8级时间延迟积分与面阵成像相比,MTF值提高50%;当累加级数为8级,速度失配满足M(ΔV/V)=2的速度失配容限时,奈奎斯特频率处的MTF值下降10%,当速度失配达到M(ΔV/V)=10时,MTF值下降35%。 相似文献

空间高层大气遥感远紫外成像光谱仪主要用于观测高层大气中的远紫外辐射和实现对其内部中尺度现象成像的功能。目前我国该类的相关仪器研究基础还比较薄弱,针对这种情况,在光学系统设计的角度上给出了一种适用于130~180nm波段探测的光学系统方案。该成像光谱仪光学系统以离轴抛物镜为物镜,串联Wadsworth结构为成像光谱系统;这种串联Wadsworth成像光谱系统采用离轴抛物镜做准直镜,分光器件为平面光栅和球面光栅串联,实现二次色散,同时球面光栅起到聚焦成像作用;在像差理论的基础上,对该结构的光程函数和各像差进行了分析,获得了改进结构的宽波段完善成像条件。针对低轨空间探测应用要求设计了相关改进型Wadsworth结构成像光谱仪光学系统,设计结果证明系统像差得到了充分校正,在奈奎斯特频率(20lp/mm)下全视场全波段调制传递函数值在0.6以上。该优化结构同时具备高空间分辨率和高光谱分辨率,性能优越。 相似文献

We analyze an N-policy of a discrete time Geo/G/1 queue with disasters. We obtain the probability generating functions of the queue length, the sojourn time, and regeneration cycles such as the idle period and the busy period. We apply the queue to a power saving scheme in wireless sensor networks under unreliable network connections where data packets are lost by external attacks or shocks. We present various numerical experiments for application to power consumption control in wireless sensor networks. We investigate the characteristics of the optimal N-policy that minimizes power consumption and derive practical insights on the operation of the N-policy in wireless sensor networks. 相似文献

This paper addresses two versions of a lifetime maximization problem for target coverage with wireless directional sensor networks. The sensors used in these networks have a maximum sensing range and a limited sensing angle. In the first problem version, predefined sensing directions are assumed to be given, whereas sensing directions can be freely devised in the second problem version. In that case, a polynomial-time algorithm is provided for building sensing directions that allow to maximize the network lifetime. A column generation algorithm is proposed for both problem versions, the subproblem being addressed with a hybrid approach based on a genetic algorithm, and an integer linear programming formulation. Numerical results show that addressing the second problem version allows for significant improvements in terms of network lifetime while the computational effort is comparable for both problem versions. 相似文献

In the present work it is demonstrated that a wideband CO laser operating at fundamental and overtone vibrational transitions
is a promising source of laser radiation for remote laser sensing of the atmosphere. A compact slab RF-discharge CO laser
has been designed. The optimal operating conditions are determined for this CO laser. In experiments, the maximum average
output laser power was ∼12 W for lasing efficiency of ∼14%. Under fixed experimental conditions, stable lasing (with fluctuations
of the output laser characteristics ≤5%) was observed during more than one hour, which suggests that we first excited the
sealed-off mode of cryogenic slab RF-discharge CO laser. The frequency-selective mode was first obtained for this laser. Wavelengths
for sensing of nitrous oxide, nitrogen dioxide, methane, formaldehyde, and some other gases on near-ground propagation paths
are determined. Our experiments and calculations confirm that this CO laser is promising for laser gas analysis.
