Solving the Problem of Gravitational Compression of a Layered Sphere (by the Example of the Earth)

The problem of spherically symmetric, gravitational compression of an isotropic hyperelastic layered sphere which modeling the region of the Earth below the Mohorovii boundary is solved. The known mechanical characteristics of the Earth in the compressed state are used to find its characteristics in the unstrained state obtained by adiabatic or isothermal stress relief. The stress state differs significantly from the state of purely hydrostatic compression. The minimum bulk compression and maximum radial tension occur not on the boundary of the sphere but in depth at certain distances from the boundary.     

The Hodge Structure on a Filtered Boolean Algebra

Let (B _n) be the order complex of the Boolean algebra and let B(n, k) be the part of (B _n) where all chains have a gap at most k between each set. We give an action of the symmetric group S _l on the l-chains that gives B(n, k) a Hodge structure and decomposes the homology under the action of the Eulerian idempontents. The S _n action on the chains induces an action on the Hodge pieces and we derive a generating function for the cycle indicator of the Hodge pieces. The Euler characteristic is given as a corollary.We then exploit the connection between chains and tabloids to give various special cases of the homology. Also an upper bound is obtained using spectral sequence methods.Finally we present some data on the homology of B(n, k).     

Steady-State and Time-Resolved Spectroscopic Characteristics of Novel Silicon-Containing Organopolymers

The spectroscopic characteristics of novel -conjugated polymers containing four-coordinated silicon, acetylene groups and either 1,4-biphenylene or 2,7-fluorene in the main chain were investigated by steady-state and picosecond laser spectroscopy. The spectral features of absorption, fluorescence excitation spectra, fluorescence lifetime, and fluorescence polarization were explained by the existence of two kinds of inhomogeneously broadened electronic states formed in the disordered polymeric chain. The dynamics of photoinduced absorption was measured in the 400–900 nm spectral range with picosecond time resolution. The long-wavelength band with _max 710 nm was ascribed to excited-state absorption from higher-lying electronic states created in short polymeric segments with essential conformational distortion of the subunits. The short-wavelength band with _max 580 nm and a shoulder at 500 nm was interpreted as photoinduced absorption from a lower-lying state arisen in more planar, longer -conjugated segments populated via direct excitation and energy migration between disordered segments of the polymeric chain. For the fluorene-containing polymer, the smaller Stokes shift and the greater degree of fluorescence polarization are consistent with more extensive electron delocalization along the backbone.

5-Hydroxy-3-(1-oxo-2,3-epoxyalkyl)benzofurans were obtained with yields of up to 81% by the reaction of p-benzoquinone with oxiranyl -dimethylaminovinyl ketones in acetic acid.     

Reaction of Epichlorohydrin with 2-Aminobenzothiazole and Its Derivatives

We have shown that 2-aminobenzothiazoles when reacted with epichlorohydrin form 3-hydroxytetrahydropyrimido[2,1-b]benzothiazolium chlorides, while 2-iminobenzothiazolines form 2-(-chloro--hydroxypropyl)iminobenzothiazolines.     

Analysis of Coupling and Radiation Properties for an Improved Dielectric Waveguide Directional Coupler Utilizing a Tapering Left-Handed Slab Core

The coupling and radiation characteristics of an improved dielectric waveguide directional coupler with a tapering left-handed slab core located in the coupling region are analyzed by the staircase approximation method, which combines the building block approach and multi-mode network theory with a rigorous mode-matching procedure. Particular attentions are directed toward the radiation characteristics under different structural parameters of the coupler. Numerical results indicate that the proposed coupler is very promising by shortening the coupling length significantly while keeping the radiation loss at a low level.     

同轴线-矩形波导结散射特性的数值分析

 提出了一种数值分析同轴线-矩形波导结散射特性的模式匹配方法。采用同轴线和矩形波导的本征模函数表示电磁场分量，通过同轴线-矩形波导结截面横向场分量匹配获得波导结的散射参数，引入电场模式匹配矩阵的解析形式提高了计算效率。给出了基于模式匹配法数值仿真的各种同轴线-矩形波导结散射特性及仿真结果分析，并与3维全电磁波分析软件HFSS的仿真结果进行了比较，二者非常吻合。模式匹配法计算效率高，能广泛应用于微波毫米波元器件及系统结构的设计与优化。     

Ti-50.8at%Ni马氏体相变中的电磁特性

研究Ti-50.8at%Ni合金在马氏体-奥氏体相变温度附近的电磁性质.由M-H曲线分析了传导电子的顺磁性以及少量局域电子引起的铁磁性.在M-T曲线中，降温曲线在180K附近有突降，升温曲线在230K附近有突升.在电阻率测量中，降温和升温的ρ-T曲线也有类似的突变.升温过程的质量热容c_p曲线在230K附近出现了由奥氏体相变引起的跳跃.这些实验结果表明，样品的马氏体相变温度约 关键词： TiNi合金 电磁性质 马氏体-奥氏体相变 质量热容     

近自然彩色图像融合算法及其实时处理系统的发展

在军事和生产领域,特别是在极其恶劣的可视条件下,图像融合技术越来越强调融合效果显示的"近自然"感觉,以及人类视觉感知的要求。从彩色图像融合算法的发展概况出发,着重介绍了两种具有代表性的基于视觉特性的近自然彩色图像融合方法,并特别阐述了课题组近期开展的相关算法研究成果。总结了国内外实时彩色图像融合系统的发展现状,概括了课题组已具备的硬件实验基础,综合分析了实时彩色图像融合技术的若干关键技术,如多源图像特征分析、实时图像配准、融合图像后处理等。针对实时图像融合技术的应用状况,提出图像融合系统未来的发展趋势。     

螺旋槽回旋行波管高频特性分析

 在Foulds等人对螺旋槽结构进行深入分析的基础上，考虑了槽区内高次模式对慢波结构高频特性的影响。结果表明：槽宽较小时，结论与其结论吻合较好； 槽宽较大时，计算结果与其有较大差别。此外，讨论了螺旋槽结构参数对高频特性的影响，结果表明：除槽宽外的其它结构参数固定时，存在一个最佳的δ/L值，可以获得较弱的色散和较大的横向场幅值，适合做回旋行波管互作用结构。
