Raman spectroscopy provides information on bone chemical composition and structure via widely used metrics including mineral to matrix ratio, mineral crystallinity and carbonate content, collagen crosslinking ratio and depolarization ratios. These metrics are correlated with bone material properties, such as hardness, plasticity and Young''s modulus. We review application of Raman spectroscopy to two important irradiated animalmodels: the mouse tibia, amodel for damage to cortical bone sites including the rib (breast cancer) and to healthy tissue adjacent to extremity sarcomas, and the rat mandible, a model for radiation damage in head and neck cancer radiotherapy. Longitudinal studies of irradiated mouse tibia demonstrate that radiation-induced matrix abnormalities can persist even 26 weeks postradiation. Polarized Raman spectroscopy shows formation of more ordered orientation of both mineral and collagen. At 8 weeks post-radiation, irradiated rat hemimandible exhibits transient hypermineralization, increased collagen cross-linking and decreased depolarization ratios of mineral and collagen. A standard radioprotectant, amifostine, mitigates rat mandible radiation damage, with none remaining detectable 18 weeks post-radiation. Already a powerful tool to monitor radiation damage, Raman spectroscopy may be important in development of new radiotherapy protocols and radioprotective agents. Further in vivo studies of radiation effects on the rodent models are underway, as are development of methodologies for eventual use in human subjects.  相似文献

This paper deals with a high-order accurate implicit finite-difference approach to the pricing of barrier options. In this way various types of barrier options are priced, including barrier options paying rebates, and options on dividend-paying-stocks. Moreover, the barriers may be monitored either continuously or discretely. In addition to the high-order accuracy of the scheme, and the stretching effect of the coordinate transformation, the main feature of this approach lies on a probability-based optimal determination of boundary conditions. This leads to much faster and accurate results when compared with similar pricing approaches. The strength of the present scheme is particularly demonstrated in the valuation of discretely monitored barrier options where it yields values closest to those obtained from the only semi-analytical valuation methods available. The scheme is also applied to the analysis of Greeks data such as Delta and Gamma.  相似文献

The dissociation energy, equilibrium internuclear distance, and spectroscopic constants for the 1Σ ground state of the Yb2 molecule are calculated. The relativistic effects are introduced through generalized relativistic effective core potentials with very high precision. The scalar relativistic coupled cluster method particularly well suited for closed‐shell van der Waals systems is used for the correlation treatment. Extensive generalized correlation basis sets were constructed and used. The relatively small corrections for high‐order cluster amplitudes and spin—orbit interactions are taken into account using smaller basis sets and the spin—orbit density functional theory. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this work, gas chromatography tandem with electron ionization and full‐scan high‐resolution mass spectrometry with a time‐of‐flight mass analyzer was evaluated for analyzing pesticide residues in teas. The relevant aspects for mass spectrometry analysis, including the resolution and mass accuracy, acquisition rate, temperature of ion source, were investigated. Under acquisition condition in 2‐GHz extended dynamic range mode, accurate mass spectral library including 184 gas chromatography detectable pesticides was established and retrieval parameters were optimized. The mass spectra were consistent over a wide concentration range (three orders) with good match values to those of NIST (EI‐quadrupole). The methodology was verified by the validation of 184 pesticides in four tea matrices. A wide linear range (1–1000 μg/kg) was obtained for most compounds in four matrices. Limit of detection, limit of quantification, and limit of identification values acquired in this study could satisfy the requirements for maximum residue levels prescribed by the European Community. Recovery studies were performed at three concentrations (10, 50, and 100 μg/kg). Most of the analytes were recovered at an acceptable range of 70–120% with relative standard deviations ≤ 20% in four matrices. The potential extension of qualitative screening scope makes gas chromatography tandem with electron ionization and mass spectrometry with a time‐of‐flight mass analyzer a more powerful tool compared with gas chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry.  相似文献

介绍了多光学系统观测平台的检测方法现状,列举了现有检测用光电靶标的局限性。叙述了动态光学靶标的功能原理,提出一种新的检测设备,即双光源动态光电目标模拟装置的设计方案。并对其进行了理论分析和可行性论证。着重对坐标变换过程进行了演算,证明基准转换的正确性。结合理论基础和现有的工程设计经验,论述了该新型双光源动态光电目标模拟装置的工程化设计方案。最后对该设计方案的最终精度进行了分析,验证了该设计方案可以满足多光学系统观测平台的综合检测和标定需求。  相似文献

We implemented accurate FFD in terms of triangular Bezier surfaces as matrix multiplications in CUDA and rendered them via OpenGL. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient than the previous GPU acceleration algorithm and tessel- lation shader algorithms.  相似文献
