The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of agricultural tire characteristics on variations of wheel load and vibrations transmitted from the ground to the tractor rear axle. The experiments were conducted on an asphalt road and a sandy loam field using a two-wheel-drive self-propelled farm tractor at different combinations of tractor forward speeds of approximately 0.6, 1.6 and 2.6 m/s, and tire inflation pressures of 330 and 80 kPa. During experiments, the vertical wheel load of the left and right rear wheels, and the roll, bounce and pitch accelerations of the rear axle center were measured using strain-gage-based transducers and a triaxial accelerometer. The wavelet and Fourier analyses were applied to measured data in order to investigate the effects of self-excitations due to non-uniformity and lugs of tires on the wheel-load fluctuation and rear axle vibrations. Values for the root-mean-square (RMS) wheel loads and accelerations were not strictly proportional and inversely proportional to the forward speed and tire pressure respectively. The time histories and frequency compositions of synthesized data have shown that tire non-uniformity and tire lugs significantly excited the wheel load and accelerations at their natural frequencies and harmonics. These effects were strongly affected by the forward speed, tire pressure and ground deformation.  相似文献

This paper introduces a wavelet-based time-dependent spectrum for arbitrary non-stationary processes, for which no exact spectrum is defined. In analogy to the spectrum already built by one of the authors (Spanos and Failla, 2004) for oscillatory processes (Priestley, 1981), the proposed spectrum is cast as a series expansion involving the square moduli of the Fourier transforms of the wavelets at a number of scales, to be chosen according to the frequency content of the process. The coefficients of the series are computed by a set of integral equations, each involving the mean square value of the wavelet transform at one of the selected scales. Simple manipulations show that the proposed wavelet-based spectrum represents indeed an approximate value for time-dependent Fourier power spectral densities, defined over scale-dependent time intervals.Numerical results, assessed in terms of statistics depending on the spectral moments, prove satisfactory for typical earthquake processes.  相似文献

Experimental investigation of hypersonic boundary layer instability on a cone is performed at Mach number 6 in a hypersonic wind tunnel.Time series signals of instantaneous fluctuating surface-thermal-flux are measured by Pt-thin-film thermocouple temperature sensors mounted at 28 stations on the cone surface in the streamwise direction to investigate the development of the unstable disturbance.Wavelet transform is employed as a mathematical tool to obtain the multi-scale characteristics of fluctuating surfacethermal-flux both in the temporal and spectrum space.The conditional sampling algorithm using wavelet coefficient as an index is put forward to extract the unstable disturbanceThe generic waveform for the second mode unstable disturbance is obtained by a phase-averaging technique.The development of the unstable disturbance in the streamwise direction is assessed both in the temporal and spectrum space.Our study shows that the local unstable disturbance detection method based on wavelet transformation offers an alternative powerful tool in studying the hypersonic unstable mode of laminar-turbulent transition.It is demonstrated that,at hypersonic speeds,the dominant flow instability is the second mode,which governs the course of laminar-turbulent transition of sharp cone boundary layer.  相似文献

This is a continuation of the investigation into the theory of wavelet frames for general affine subspaces. The main focus of this paper is on the structural properties of affine subspaces. We show that every affine subspace is the orthogonal direct sum of at most three purely non-reducing subspaces, while every reducing subspace (with respect to the dilation and translation operators) is the orthogonal direct sum of two purely non-reducing ones. This result is obtained through considering the basic question as to when the orthogonal complement of an affine subspace in another one is still affine. Motivated by the fundamental question as to whether every affine subspace is singly-generated, and by a recent result that every singly generated purely non-reducing subspace admits a singly generated wavelet frame, we prove that every affine subspace can be decomposed into the direct sum of a singly generated affine subspace and some space of “small size”. As a consequence we establish a connection between the above mentioned two questions.  相似文献

In this paper, Morrey type Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces with variable exponents are introduced. Then equivalent quasi-norms of these new spaces in terms of Peetre?s maximal functions are obtained. We present in this paper a wavelet packet based QRS complex detection algorithm. Our proposed algorithm consists of a particular combination of two vectors obtained by applying a designed routine of QRS detection process using ‘haar’ and ‘db10’ wavelet functions respectively. The QRS complex detection routine is based on the histogram approach where our key idea was to search for the node with highest number of histogram coefficients, at center, which we assume that they are related to the iso-electric baseline whereas the remaining least number coefficients reflect the R waves peaks. Following a classical approach based of a calculated fixed threshold, the possible QRS complexes will be determined. The QRS detection complex algorithm has been applied to the whole MIT-BIH arrhythmia Database to assess its robustness. The algorithm reported a global sensitivity of 98.68%, positive predictive value of 97.24% and a percentage error of 04.12%. Eventhough, the obtained global results are not as excellent as expected, we have demonstrate that our designed QRS detection algorithm performs good on a partial selected high percentage of the whole database, e.g., the partial results, obtained when applying the algorithm on 85.01% of the whole MIT-BIH arrhythmia Database, are 99.14% of sensitivity, 98.94% of positive predictive value and 01.92% of percentage error.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop symplectic and multi-symplectic wavelet collocation methods to solve the two-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation in wave propagation problems and the two-dimensional time-dependent linear Schrödinger equation in quantum physics. The Hamiltonian and the multi-symplectic formulations of each equation are considered. For both formulations, wavelet collocation method based on the autocorrelation function of Daubechies scaling functions is applied for spatial discretization and symplectic method is used for time integration. The conservation of energy and total norm is investigated. Combined with splitting scheme, splitting symplectic and multi-symplectic wavelet collocation methods are also constructed. Numerical experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献
