We study light propagation in nanoscale periodic structures composed of dielectric and metal in the visible range. We demonstrate that diffraction curves of nonuniform waveguide arrays can be tailored by varying the geometric and dielectric features of the waveguides. The results obtained from a proper formulation of coupled mode theory for nonuniform arrays are validated through numerical solution of Maxwell equations in frequency domain.  相似文献

The simultaneous Ag loaded and N-doped TiO2 hollow nanorod arrays with various contents of silver (Ag/N-THNAs) were successfully synthesized on glass substrates by one-pot liquid phase deposition (LPD) method using ZnO nanorod arrays as template. The catalysts were characterized by Raman spectrum, field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM), ultraviolet-vis (UV-vis) absorption spectrum and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results suggest that AgNO3 additive in the precursor solutions not only can promote the anatase-to-rutile phase transition, but also influence the amount of N doping in the samples. The photocatalytic activity of all the samples was evaluated by photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) in aqueous solution. The sample exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity under UV light illumination when the AgNO3 concentration in the precursor solution was 0.03 M, due to Ag nanoparticles acting as electron sinks; When the AgNO3 concentration was 0.07 M, the sample performed best under visible light illumination, attributed to the synergetic effects of Ag loading, N doping, and the multiphase structure (anatase/rutile).  相似文献

为增强晶体硅太阳电池的光利用率, 提高光电转换效率, 研究了硅纳米线阵列的光学散射性质. 运用严格耦合波理论对硅纳米线阵列在310—1127 nm波段的反射率进行了模拟计算, 用田口方法对硅纳米线阵列的表面传输效率进行了优化. 结果表明, 当硅纳米线阵列的周期为50 nm, 占空比为0.6, 高度约1000 nm时减反射效果最佳; 该结构在上述波段的平均反射率约为2%, 且在较大入射角度范围保持不变. 采用金属催化化学腐蚀法, 于室温、室压条件下在单晶硅表面制备周期为60 nm,占空比为0.53, 高度为500 nm的硅纳米线阵列结构, 其反射率的实验测试结果与计算模拟值相符, 在上述波段的平均反射率为4%—5%, 相对于单晶硅35%左右的反射率, 减反射效果明显. 这种减反射微结构能够在降低太阳电池成本的同时有效减小单晶硅表面的光反射损失, 提高光电转换效率.  相似文献

We approach Riordan arrays and their generalizations via umbral symbolic methods. This new approach allows us to derive fundamental aspects of the theory of Riordan arrays as immediate consequences of the umbral version of the classical Abel?s identity for polynomials. In particular, we obtain a novel non-recursive formula for Riordan arrays and derive, from this new formula, some known recurrences and a new recurrence relation for Riordan arrays.  相似文献

An anisotropic homogenization theory for spatially dispersive periodic arrays is developed, based on the microscopic Maxwell equations, that yields causal, macroscopic permittivities, and inverse permeabilities for the fundamental Floquet modes of the arrays. (Macroscopic magnetoelectric coefficients are not required.) Reality conditions, reciprocity relations, passivity conditions, and causality relations are derived for these spatially dispersive macroscopic constitutive parameters. A significant feature of the formulation is that the macroscopic permittivities and permeabilities reduce to their anisotropic-continuum definitions in terms of ordinary macroscopic averages at the low spatial and temporal frequencies. In addition, diamagnetic metamaterial arrays require no special considerations or modifications to accommodate their unusual characteristics. A numerical example of a 2D array comprised of circular–cylinder inclusions is given that confirms the theoretical results for the computed electric and magnetic or diamagnetic macroscopic polarizations.  相似文献

This paper introduces a new scene-based technique to correct the fixed-pattern noise (FPN) in array sensors. This method registers a pair of image frames exhibiting small relative scene translation and then the noise pattern can be reconstructed using the constrained least-squares estimation. The key advantage of this technique is that the accurate estimates of the bias nonuniformity can be obtained with only two images, without imposing any assumptions on the structure of the FPN. Besides, the method works on almost static scene, and therefore does not require larger scale global motion and statistical assumptions on the scene irradiance. We test our method on synthetically generated FPN as well as with real infrared data, and experimental results demonstrate the significant reduction in FPN, validating the effectiveness of our approach. Finally, we validate the feasibility and validity of using the proposed method as a first step fostering the success of more sophisticated registration-based time-evolving correction algorithms.  相似文献

We consider arrays of size 2?×?2?×?2 and 2?×?2?×?2?×?2 over the fields with two and three elements. We use computer algebra to determine the canonical forms of these arrays with respect to the action of the semidirect product of general linear groups with the symmetric group.
