A two-step approximate analytical solution for the normal emittance of a plane layer of an absorbing, scattering and refracting medium is derived analytically. The analysis is based on the transport approximation and the two-step solution method for radiative transfer. The high accuracy of the approximate solution, examined by comparing its results to those obtained independently by the discrete ordinates and Monte Carlo methods, makes it suitable for application in combined experimental-analytical studies to identify selected spectral radiative properties of dispersed media in the range of semi-transparency.  相似文献

This paper considers a scalar radiative transfer problem with high scattering anisotropy. Two computational methods are presented based on decomposition of the diffuse light field into a regular and anisotropic part. The first algorithm (DOMAS) singles out the anisotropic radiance in the forward scattering peak using the Small-Angle Modification of RTE. The second algorithm (DOM2+) separates the single scattering radiance as an anisotropic part, which largely defines the fine detail of the total radiance in the backscattering directions. In both cases, the anisotropic part is represented analytically. With anisotropy subtraction, the regular part of the signal, which requires a numerical solution, is essentially smoothed as a function of angles. Further, the transport equation is obtained for the regular part that contains an additional source function from the anisotropic part of the signal. This equation is solved with the discrete ordinates method. A conducted numerical analysis of this work showed that algorithm DOMAS has a strong advantage as compared to the standard discrete ordinates method for simulation of the radiance transmission, and DOM2+ is the best of the three for the reflection computations. Both algorithms offer at least a factor of three acceleration of convergence of the azimuthal series for highly anisotropic phase functions.  相似文献

The curved ray-tracing method is extended to radiative transfer in the graded index medium with diffuse gray boundary conditions instead of black boundary conditions and the pseudo-source adding method is extended to the case of the linear-anisotropic scattering medium with graded index from non-scattering medium. Furthermore, the equivalence of the two methods is verified by formulation derivation. As exact analytical solutions, both the methods have high accuracy and fast computational speed. The predicted temperature distributions and dimensionless radiative heat flux at radiative equilibrium are determined by the proposed methods, and the numerical results are compared with the data in references. The results show that the present methods have a good accuracy. Influences of various combinations of refractive index and boundary emissivities on the temperature distributions and dimensionless radiative heat flux are also investigated.  相似文献

The mathematical formulation of the continuum approach to radiative transfer modeling in two-phase semi-transparent media is numerically validated by comparing radiative fluxes computed by (i) direct, discrete-scale and (ii) continuum-scale approaches. The analysis is based on geometrical optics. The discrete-scale approach uses the Monte Carlo ray-tracing applied directly to real 3D geometry measured by computed tomography. The continuum-scale approach is based on a set of continuum-scale radiative transfer equations and associated radiative properties, and employs the Monte Carlo ray-tracing for computations of radiative fluxes and for computations of the radiative properties. The model two-phase media are reticulate porous ceramics and a particle packed bed, each composed of semitransparent solid and fluid phases. The results obtained by the two approaches are in good agreement within the limits of statistical uncertainty. The continuum-scale approach leads to a reduction in computational time by approximately one order of magnitude, and is therefore suited to treat radiative transfer problems in two-phase media in a wide range of engineering applications.  相似文献

We present in this paper a multigroup model for radiation hydrodynamics to account for variations of the gas opacity as a function of frequency. The entropy closure model (M1) is applied to multigroup radiation transfer in a radiation hydrodynamics code. In difference from the previous grey model, we are able to reproduce the crucial effects of frequency-variable gas opacities, a situation omnipresent in physics and astrophysics. We also account for the energy exchange between neighbouring groups which is important in flows with strong velocity divergence. These terms were computed using a finite volume method in the frequency domain. The radiative transfer aspect of the method was first tested separately for global consistency (reversion to grey model) and against a well-established kinetic model through Marshak wave tests with frequency-dependent opacities. Very good agreement between the multigroup M1 and kinetic models was observed in all tests. The successful coupling of the multigroup radiative transfer to the hydrodynamics was then confirmed through a second series of tests. Finally, the model was linked to a database of opacities for a Xe gas in order to simulate realistic multigroup radiative shocks in Xe. The differences with the previous grey models are discussed.  相似文献

The curved ray tracing method (CRT) is extended to radiative transfer in the linear-anisotropic scattering medium with graded index from non-scattering medium. In this paper, the CRT is presented to solve one-dimensional radiative transfer in the linear-anisotropic scattering gray medium with a linear refractive index and two black boundaries. The predicted temperature distributions and radiative heat flux at radiative equilibrium are determined by the proposed method, and numerical results are compared with the data in references. The results show that the CRT has a good accuracy for radiative transfer in the linear-anisotropic scattering medium with graded index and the dimensionless emissive power and dimensionless radiative heat flux depend on the dimensionless refractive index gradient. It can also be seen that the dimensionless refractive index gradient has important effects on the temperature discontinuity at the boundaries.  相似文献

 束流寿命是衡量储存环性能的重要参数,直接影响着光源的正常运行。对于合肥光源(HLS),托歇克(Touschek)寿命是影响束流寿命的重要因素。为了研究Touschek寿命,需要探测由于Touschek效应所损失的电子。介绍了束流寿命的概念,说明了Touschek效应的原理和机制,利用蒙特卡罗软件EGSnrc模拟计算了丢失电子与真空壁的相互作用,通过塑料闪烁体探测器和光电倍增管获得了由于Touschek效应丢失的电子所产生的信号,然后将信号经过放大甄别和符合处理后,用计数器测量了计数率。结果表明:由于Touschek效应而成对丢失的电子的确存在,且电子损失率随流强的降低而减小。这为下一步储存环的能量标定工作做好了前期准备。  相似文献
