报道了一台激光二极管侧面泵浦Nd:YAG双向加压式电光调Q全固态纳秒激光器。采用结构简单的平-平腔设计,当重复频率为500 Hz时,得到了脉宽为5~20ns的可调输出,当脉冲宽度为6ns时,获得了平均输出功率为2.31W、中心波长为1064 nm的基模光,光束发散角为2.1 mrad,M2≤1.2,单脉冲能量稳定性高于1.16%(均方根)。采用两种不同的双通放大方式对调Q光进行放大,分别获得了功率为18.7 W和24.4 W的脉冲输出,单脉冲能量抖动低于2.16%和1.87%。 相似文献

A diode-end-pumped passively Q-switched 912 nm Nd:GdVO4/Cr4+:YAG laser and its efficient intracavity frequency-doubling to 456 nm deep-blue laser were demonstrated in this paper. Using a simple V-type laser cavity, pulsed 912 nm laser characteristics were investigated with two kinds of Cr4+:YAG crystal as the saturable absorbers, which have the different initial transmissivity (TU) of 95% and 90% at 912 nm. When the TU = 95% Cr4+:YAG was used, as much as an average output power of 2.8 W 912 nm laser was achieved at an absorbed pump power of 34.0 W, and the pulse width and the repetition rate were ∼ 40.5 ns and ∼ 76.6 kHz, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest average output power of diode-pumped passively Q-switched Nd3+-doped quasi-three-level laser. Employing a BiBO as the frequency-doubling crystal, 456 nm pulsed deep-blue laser was obtained with a maximum average output power of 1.2 W at a repetition rate ∼ 42.7 kHz. 相似文献

By using both acousto-optic (AO) modulator and GaAs saturable absorber, a diode-pumped doubly Q-switched and mode-locked (QML) YVO4/Nd:YVO4 laser is presented. The average output power and the pulse width of the Q-switched envelope have been measured. The Q-switch pulse energy of the doubly QML laser are higher than that only with GaAs. The stability of the QML laser with the dual-loss-modulation is significantly improved if compared to that only with GaAs.The experimental results show that the doubly QML YVO4/Nd:YVO4 laser has nearly 80% modulation depth and deeper than that of the singly passively QML pulse. The doubly Q-switched mode-locked pulse inside the Q-switched envelope has a repetition rate of 111 MHz and its pulse width is estimated to be about 700 ps. By using a hyperbolic secant square function and considering the Gaussian distribution of the intracavity photon density, the coupled equations for diode-pumped dual-loss-modulated QML laser is given and the numerical solutions of the equations are in good agreement with the experimental results. 相似文献

By using a simple linear configuration, a stable and efficient YVO4-Nd:YVO4 laser, actively Q-switched by an acousto-optic modulator and passively mode-locked by KLM is realized, from which the great average output power, the high efficiency are obtained and the mode-locked pulse inside the Q-switched pulse has a repetition rate of 470 MHz. The nearly 100% modulation depth of the Q-switched mode-locked pulses can be obtained at any pump power over the threshold. Considering the Kerr-lens effect of laser medium and Q-switching by an acousto-optic modulator, we have analyzed the self-mode-locked YVO4-Nd:YVO4 laser by using the nonlinear ABCD propagation matrix and the hyperbolic fluctuation mechanism. This paper demonstrates the use of a zinc oxide (ZnO) thin film in a 1-μm ring laser cavity as a saturable absorber to successfully generate Q-switching pulses. The tunability of the laser pulses is achieved by integrating a tunable bandpass filter (TBPF) in an ytterbium-doped laser cavity that results in 9.4 nm of tuning range, which wavelength is from 1040.70 nm to 1050.1 nm. The peak energy in the pulse which is 1.47 nJ was measured together with a minimum pulse width of 2.4 μs. In addition, the repetition rate increases from 25.77 to 45.94 kHz as the pump power level being increased from 103.1 to 175.1 mW. The results obtained in this experiment demonstrated consistent results and stable throughout the experiment. Laser performance with the mixed Nd:Lu0.15Y0.85VO4 crystal at 1.34 μm wavelength has been demonstrated. The continuous wave (cw) operation was carried out in a simple plano-concave resonator with an optical conversion efficiency of 23% and a slop efficiency of 25%. At a pump power of 6.78 W, the Q-switched pulses with the largest average output power of 349 mW, the shortest pulse width of 30.6 ns, the largest repetition rate of 42.5 kHz, the highest peak power of 268 W and the largest pulse energy of 8.2 μJ were obtained, corresponding to the V:YAG with initial transmission of 89%. 相似文献

An LD-pumped Nd:YVO4 passively Q-switched by V:YAG and intracavity frequency doubled by LBO red pulse laser at 671 nm was presented. With 1.6 W incident pump power, average output power of 53 mW, pulse duration (FWHM) of 29.5 ns, pulse repetition rate of 37.2 kHz, peak power of 48.3 W and single-pulse energy of 1.43 μJ were obtained. Simultaneous Q-switching and mode-locking in a laser-diode end-pumped intracavity frequency doubled Nd:YVO4/KTP green laser using Cr4+:YAG saturable absorber is experimentally demonstrated. The influence of the initial transmission (T0) of the Cr4+:YAG crystal on the Q-switched mode-locked green pulses as well as on the average green power is characterized by using Cr4+:YAG crystal with various T0. The effect of T0 on the pulse build-up time in intracavity second harmonic configuration is theoretically investigated. It was found that the depth of modulation for the mode-locked pulses is greatly improved at the second harmonic wavelength as compared to that for the fundamental wavelength. The average pulse duration of the individual mode-locked pulse for the second harmonic beam measured to be less than 500 ps with a repetition rate of 400 MHz. 相似文献
