The synthesis of magnetic vesicles is described. The vesicles are constituted by didodecyldimethylammonium bromide and have a diameter of about 1 m. An aqueous magnetic fluid, constituted by charged magnetic nanoparticles dispersed in water without surfactant, is encapsulated in the vesicle with a volume fraction in particles that may range up to 10%. The first step of the encapsulation is the synthesis of a multiple emulsion the intermediate oily phase being evaporated to obtain the DDAB bilayer. The magnetic vesicles thus synthesized align and change shape when a magnetic field is applied.  相似文献

Summary Alloys of the ternary system gold-indium-zinc with a variable content of goldx Au at a constant ratio ofx In:x Zn=1:1 have been investigated by susceptibility measurements from 300 K up to 1500 K with emphasis on the liquid state. The magnetic susceptibilities of the homogeneous liquids were found to vary in a non-linear manner with temperature and composition. At temperatures close to the liquid-solid transition, the susceptibilities pass through a characteristic minimum which tends to disappear with increasing temperature. The anomaly located atx Au 0.6 seems to be related to a particular valence electron concentration ofe/a 1.6.

Zusammenfassung Legierungen des ternären Systems Gold-Indium-Zink mit einem variablen Goldgehaltx Au bei konstantem Indium-Zink-Verhältnis (x In:x Zn=1:1) wurden zwischen 300 und 1500 K auf ihre magnetische Suszeptibilität untersucht. Das Hauptaugenmerk wurde dabei auf den flüssigen Zustand gelegt. Die magnetischen Suszeptibilitäten der homogenen Schmelzen variieren nichtlinear mit Temperatur und Zusammensetzung. Bei Temperaturen nahe dem übergang flüssig-fest tritt ein charakteristisches Minimum der Suszeptibilität auf, das mit steigender Temperatur verschwindet. Die Anomalie bei einemx Au vonca. 0.6 scheint mit einer speziellen Valenzelektronenkonzentration (e/a) von etwa 1.6 verknüpft zu sein.

The electrochemical and in-situ surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) techniques were used to investigate the electrooxidation behavior of methanol in acidic, neutral and alkaline media at a Pt-Ru nanoparticle modified glassy carbon (Pt-Ru/GC) electrode. The results showed that methanol could be dissociated spontaneously at the Pt-Ru/GC electrode to produce a strongly adsorbed intermediate, CO. It was found that CO could be oxidized more easily in the alkaline medium than in the acidic and neutral media. The peak potential of methanol oxidation was shifted from 0.663 and 0.708 V in the acidic and neutral media to -0.030 V in the alkaline medium, which is due to that the adsorption strength of CO on the Pt surface in the alkaline medium is weaker than that in the acidic and neutral media. The final product of the methanol oxidation is CO2. However, in the alkaline medium, CO2 produced would form CO3^2- and HCO3^- resulting in the decrease in the alkaline concentration and then in the decrease in the performance of DMFC. Therefore, the performance of the alkaline DMFC is not Stable.  相似文献

Magnetic and structural data for 28 compounds containing the tetrabromocuprate ion are presented. The parameters which affect the strength and sign of the magnetic superexchange interaction via non-bonding contacts between bromide ions are described and a system for describing the topology of the interaction between tetrahedra is proposed. Analysis of the data suggests that the primary factors affecting the magnetic exchange are the Br?Br distance, the Cu-Br?Br angle and the Cu-Br?Br-Cu dihedral angle.  相似文献

A magnetically coupled microcavity hollow cathode discharge device was evaluated for its analytical potential as a boosted atomic emission source. A magnetic field using an electromagnet was applied perpendicular to the axis of the microcavity hollow cathode. The intensity of the atomic emission of copper, aluminum and the ionic emission of magnesium increased with increasing magnetic field until it reached a maximum. A further increase in the field strength did not lead to an enhancement of these emissions. The attainment of the maxima was attributed to the increase in the electron temperature and radial diffusion of the electrons from the center of the microcavity axis. Electron temperatures in the presence of the magnetic field calculated based on the semicorona model were shown to be proportional to the square of the reduced field strength. Further, these maxima were correlated to the energies of the upper levels of the transition studied.  相似文献

The synthesis of norvancomycin (NVan)-capped silver nanoparticles (Ag@NVan) and their notable in vitro antibacterial activities against E. coli, a Gram-negative bacterial strain (GNB), are reported here. Mercaptoacetic acid-stabilized spherical silver nanoparticles with a diameter of 16±4 nm are prepared by a simple chemical reaction. The formation process of the silver nanoparticles is investigated by UV-visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). NVan is then grafted to the terminal carboxyl of the mercaptoacetic acid in the presence of N-(3-Dimethylaminopropyl)-N′-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (EDAC). The TEM images of single bacteria treated with Ag@NVan show that plenty of Ag@NVan aggregate in the cell wall of E. coli. A possible antibacterial mechanism is proposed that silver nanoparticles may help destroy the stability of the outer membrane of E. coli, which makes NVan easier to bind to the nether part of the peptidoglycan structure. The antibacterial activities of silver nanoparticles on their own, together with the rigid polyvalent interaction between Ag@NVan and cell wall, enables Ag@NVan to be an effective inhibitor of GNB. This kind of bionanocomposites might be used as novel bactericidal materials and we also provide an effective synthesis method for preparing functional bioconjugated nanoparticles here. Luminescent 50-nm silicon dioxide nanoparticles containing both types of rhodamine 6G (R; particles denoted R-SiO2) were synthesized by the sol–gel method. In the presence of Pb(Ac)2 as a heavy atom perturber the particle can emit the intense and stable room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) signal of R on a polyamide membrane, with exmax/emmax=470/635 nm for R. Our research indicates that the specific immune reaction between goat-anti-human IgG antibody labeled with R-SiO2 and human IgG can be carried out quantitatively on a polyamide membrane, and the phosphorescence intensity was enhanced after the immunoreaction. Thus a new method for solid-substrate room-temperature phosphorescence immunoassay (SS-RTP-IA) for determination of human IgG was established on the basis of antibody labeled with the nanoparticles containing binary luminescent molecules. The linear range of this method is 0.0624–20.0 pg spot–1 of human IgG (corresponding to a concentration range of 0.156–50.0 ng mL–1, sample volume 0.40 L spot–1). The regression equations of the working curves are Ip=71.27+7.208mIgG (pg spot–1) (r=0.9996). Detection limits calculated as 3Sb/k are 0.022 pg spot–1. Compared with the same IA using fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) as the marker the new method was more sensitive and had a wider linear range. After elevenfold replicate measurement RSD are 4.5 and 3.6% for samples containing 0.156 and 50.0 ng mL–1 IgG, respectively. This method is sensitive, accurate, and of high precision.  相似文献

The Raman spectra and Surface enhanced Raman spectra (SERS) of leucine and isoleucine adsorbed on core-shell Au/Ag nanoparticles were obtained and assigned, and the different Raman peaks resulting from different vibrational models of the isomers忆groups were analysed. In Raman spectra, the leucine’s (ω(CH3)) is at 962, 945, 924 cm-1, (δas(CH3)) at 1408, 1454 cm-1; corresponding values for isoleucine are, 922 cm-1 and 1448, 1420, 1394 cm-1, respectwely. The difference in the peak positions of corresponding groups between leucine and isoleucine is more apparent in the SERS at acidic and basic conditions. The relationship between leucine and isoleucine’s concentration and SERS was interpreted preliminarily and the adsorption model on the core-shell Au/Ag nanoparticle surface was speculated.  相似文献

Owing to their particular crystallographic properties, ferrimagnetic hexagonal ferrites exhibit a far greater coercive force than the conventional magnetic pigments. They therefore appear to be suitable for use in magnetic information storage procedures, some of which are novel and are at the development stage. Thus, magnetic tapes of high coercive force containing barium ferrite could be used as master tapes for copying magnetic information or for producing forgery-proof magnetic cards, if magnetic heads having high-order write fields were successfully developed. Moreover, platelet-like ferrite pigments in which the preferred direction of magnetic orientation is perpendicular to the plane of the platelet are of great interest for perpendicular magnetic recording. In this progress report, the crystal structures, magnetic characteristics of hexagonal ferrites, and chemical processes for their production are discussed. In particular, reactions in salt melts or under hydrothermal conditions produce finely divided pigments whose particles have a pronounced hexagonal, plate-like habit, a narrow particle size distribution, and advantageous magnetic properties. The magnetic properties of the pigments crystallized from salt melts may be adjusted by cation exchange.  相似文献
