A set-up of the CO2 SKATE and its output characteristics are described. The system is based on a self-sustained gas discharge module with x-ray preionization that ensures reliability and stable repetition rate operation at 1 Hz for a long time. Measurement of the initial electron density in the discharge volume produced by an x-ray gun is presented for different gases and their mixtures, which is of independent interest for some applications of x-ray preionization. Data on measurements of the low-intensity signal gain and laser parameters for a free-running generator configuration are presented as well as long-term operation characteristics. This laser system has been used as a CO2 generator with gigawatt peak intensity and high spatial–temporal characteristics. In particular, the laser can be used as a driver for a source of multicharged ions in contrast to the laboratory prototypes previously investigated.  相似文献

Given the operational constraints of aerospace ground equipments (AGE), the nonthermal plasma discharge (NTPD) has been identified as a promising technology for their NOx removal. As part of a program to optimize an NTPD system for this particular application, an investigation of the effect of discharge gap spacing on the electrical and chemical processes that occur in NTPDs was initiated. A number of experiments were performed to examine how the gap spacing affects the NO removal efficiency, discharge characteristics, and chemical reactions in a NTPD device. Gap spacings ranging from 0.8 to 4.0 mm were investigated in this study. An optimum gap spacing for NO removal was observed at approximately 2 mm and, based on the experimental data, a physical explanation for the optimum was developed. The experiments, results and conclusions are discusssed in detail in this paper.  相似文献

Rotational temperature in the oxygen DC glow discharge is determined from atmospheric A-band of molecular oxygen. Two methods of estimation of this parameter taking into account the quality of the detected spectra are analysed and compared. Radial profile of the rotational temperature is measured. No radial variations of rotational temperature have been observed in the positive column under our experimental conditions.  相似文献

详细分析了描述激光导致损伤的"移动的损伤"模型,发现该模型不适用于常见的飞秒激光对绝缘性透明固体材料处理的情况(如:800nm的100fs激光脉冲,0.65NA紧聚焦系统),此时脉冲与物质间相互作用区域和聚焦系统的瑞利长度可以比拟.对模型做了改进,改进后的模型可以很好地预期飞秒激光脉冲在固体中产生损伤的时间和空间形态.  相似文献

Results of theoretical and experimental studies of the behavior of the level populations and gain factors for the np 1,3 Pns 1,3 S and np 1,3 P –> (n-1)d 1,3 D transitions in Tl II (n = 7) and Ga II (n = 5) are presented. These levels are filled due to the charge exchange in thermal collisions of neon ions with thallium and gallium atoms in thallium--neon and gallium--neon mixtures, respectively. The total pumping rate of all levels of a metal due to the charge exchange in the hollow-cathode discharge plasma at the operating concentrations of metal vapors was shown to be equal to the gas ionization rate. The latter is defined by the number of fast electrons and is independent of the charge-exchange cross section. The exciting and deexciting collisions with slow electrons and gas atoms were taken into account for all Tl II and Ga II levels related to the laser ones, and the radiation trapping by the resonance transitions of metal ions was considered. The partial pumping rates by the charge exchange were found for levels with 0 < E() < 1.5 eV. Theoretical results are compared with experimental data. The behavior of the lasing characteristics is explained for the known laser transitions. The parameters of the as yet unknown transitions in the IR range are predicted.  相似文献

The actual spatial distribution of the intensity of SHF discharge glow in oxygen at different distances from the zone of input of SHF power has been investigated by the method of optical emission spectroscopy with subsequent abelization of the experimentally obtained integral characteristics of the intensity of radiation emitted by the OI ( = 777.7 nm) line. The investigations were carried out in a plasmatron on the basis of a ringtype waveguideslot radiator. The experimental results obtained indicate that the best uniformity of optical radiation over the discharge length is attained in the mode of pressureoptimum gas breakdown. Radial distributions of the radiation intensity are complicated in nature, which can be attributed to the differently pronounced skin effect exerted by a plasma on an electromagnetic wave under different discharge conditions. The results of the present work make it possible to interpret the previously obtained data of technological experiments and can be employed in developing technological processes of SHF plasma processing of materials and in designing SHF plasmatrons.  相似文献

 在SILEX-1激光器上测量了超强飞秒激光与Ta靶相互作用产生的出射超热电子能谱及角分布,研究了出射超热电子加热机制。激光脉宽为 30 fs,激光功率密度为8.5×1018 W/cm2。靶前法线方向超热电子温度为550 keV。从实验结果可知:共振吸收是靶前法线方向超热电子主要加热机制,这与靶前存在大密度标长预等离子体的实验条件吻合。靶厚为6~50 μm时,靶后超热电子沿法线方向出射;靶厚为2 mm时,该发射峰消失。  相似文献

研究了介质阻挡放电过程中的电流强度、电场强度以及电荷分布的演变规律,并对能量转换性质进行了分析.研究结果表明,在一个放电脉冲过程中,外加驱动电源所作的功、电场能量的增量均与起始时刻的壁电荷密度有关,而气体中放电电流所作的功即沉积于气体中的能量与起始时刻的壁电荷密度、放电电流的具体波形无关. 关键词: 介质阻挡放电 壁电荷 动力学过程 能量转换  相似文献

提出了一种新型栅耦合型静电泄放(ESD)保护器件——压焊块电容栅耦合型保护管.该结构不仅解决了原有栅耦合型结构对特定ESD冲击不能及时响应的问题,而且节省了版图面积,提高了ESD失效电压.0.5 μm标准互补型金属氧化物半导体工艺流片测试结果表明,该结构人体模型ESD失效电压超过8 kV.给出了栅耦合型ESD保护结构中ESD检测结构的设计方法,能够精确计算检测结构中电容和电阻的取值. 关键词: 静电泄放 栅耦合 金属氧化物半导体场效应管 压焊块电容  相似文献

 针对大型直线感应加速器单次工作的特点,研制了一种电容放电式脉冲励磁电源。该电源利用电容器的储能特性,取代常规电源的变压整流滤波部分,先对其以小电流恒流充电,然后再以大电流恒流放电来获得直线感应加速器励磁电流。对这种电源进行了理论分析和模拟计算,模拟结果与实验结果基本一致。实验结果表明:这种电源能够脉冲工作,同时输入功率大幅度降低,在输出电流500 A,持续时间0.3 s时,输入功率400 W,输出功率25 kW,电流稳定度0.2%, 谐波小, 电流纹波小,所用电容器100块左右(33 mF),经济上也可承受,是一种非常适合直线感应加速器的励磁电源。  相似文献
