对现有三类偏振模色散模拟器:旋转晶体型、偏振控制器型和加热器型模拟器,进行了详尽的相关群时延、高阶偏振模色散的统计分布和频率自相关函数三大统计特性的数值模拟和性能比较.以级联段数作为主要参量的分析结果表明:相关群时延分布的产生准确度,旋转晶体型模拟器略优于偏振控制器型,而加热型模拟器相对最差;在产生精确的高阶偏振模色散分布方面,偏振控制器型模拟器最为优越,加热型模拟器略优于旋转晶体型;而对于产生较低的频率自相关本底水准方面,加热型模拟器则优于偏振控制器型和旋转晶体型.综合而言,偏振控制器型模拟器的性能最为优越;十段左右的偏振控制器型模拟器就可以产生合格的模拟效果,其效果等价于十五段以上旋转晶体型,或二十段以上加热型模拟器. 相似文献

借助量子密码术和卫星可以实现全球性的保密通信网络。但使用现有的单光子探测模块搭建星地量子密钥分配(QKD)系统,接收端就面临着空间光-多模光纤耦合的技术挑战。空间光-多模光纤耦合条件对星地量子密钥分配系统的跟瞄精度提出了严格要求。理论分析和定量计算表明,跟瞄精度ε与光束发散角θdiv的比值ε/dθiv≤0.5时,星地量子密钥分配系统的光子探测概率较高,系统可以正常工作;ε/dθiv≤0.1时,系统处于量子密钥产生速率为几kb/s的更理想状况。采用短波长更有利于满足空间光-多模光纤耦合条件,同时有利于系统获得更高的密钥产生速率。 相似文献

The operation of a passively modelocked figure-eight laser with all fibre repetition rate multiplier is reported. Thirty two times the fundamental repetition rate is achieved with six conventional 3 dB couplers at a repetition rate of 182 MHz. The repetition rate 2N times multiplication only requires (N + 1) passive fibre couplers and N fibre delay-lines. In this paper we demonstrate a technique of signal wavelength conversion via cross-phase modulation (XPM)-induced nonlinear coupling among a 10 GHz return-to-zero (RZ) signal and a continuous wave (CW) carrier co-propagating in dispersion-shifted (DS) highly nonlinear fiber (HNLF). The wavelength conversion bandwidth up to ±20 nm was achieved experimentally and potential extension was verified by numerical simulations. We investigate the transmission performance of N × 40 Gbps carrier-suppressed return-to-zero (CS-RZ) and duobinary CS-RZ (DCS-RZ) modulated wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) signals over the standard single-mode fiber (SSMF) based on non-ideal Mach-Zehnder (MZ) modulators through numerical simulations. In addition to that, the impact on receiver margin related to the residual chirp due to an asymmetry ratio of modulators as well as the effect of the applied chirp of modulators has been studied. As the asymmetry ratio of modulators is increased, dispersion penalties are increased asymmetrically at around the zero dispersion wavelength for the CS-RZ format. The DCS-RZ modulation format has a symmetric behavior due to different characteristics of the residual chirp of modulators. The receiver margin for the DCS-RZ modulation format is larger than the CS-RZ modulation format above the asymmetry ratio of 0.82 of modulators (extinction ratio of 20 dB) with the optimal ΔλDCF. By controlling the negative/positive applied chirp of the first/second modulator, dispersion penalties can be reduced for both the CS-RZ and DCS-RZ formats. In the DCS-RZ format compared to the CS-RZ format, the effect of the applied chirp of the first modulator is more dominant than that of the second modulator. The simulation results show that the receiver margin is limited by the asymmetry ratio of modulators as well as a deviated wavelength from the zero dispersion wavelength of dispersion compensating fibers (DCF) in order to be fully post-compensated. Reassignment of the “Forbidden” character in the Ã1B3u-X̃1Ag transitions of pyrazine-d0, 15N and d4
Contours of bands polarized in the plane of the pyrazine (1,4-diazine) molecule are analyzed in greater detail than before (J. Mol. Spectrosc.11, 257 (1963); 21, 66 (1966)). Largely on the basis of simulations of the pyrazine-15N and d4 bands, it is concluded that the vibronic transition moment lies not along the line of the nitrogen atoms but perpendicular to that line. The reassignment requires the vibration responsible for the bands to be ν10a and the electronic transition(s) which loans intensity to be 1B2u. It is confirmed from the derived changes of inertial constants that the two nitrogen atoms lie closer together in the ecited state than in the ground state. 相似文献

In optical communications, four-dimensional (4D) modulation formats encode information onto the quadrature components of two arbitrary orthogonal states of polarisation of the optical field. Many analytical models available in the optical communication literature allow, within a first-order perturbation framework, the computation of the average power of the nonlinear interference (NLI) accumulated in coherent fibre-optic transmission systems. However, all such models only operate under the assumption of transmitted polarisation-multiplexed two-dimensional (PM-2D) modulation formats, which only represent a limited subset of the possible dual-polarisation 4D (DP-4D) formats. Namely, only those where data transmitted on each polarisation channel are mutually independent and identically distributed. This paper presents a step-by-step mathematical derivation of the extension of existing NLI models to the class of arbitrary DP-4D modulation formats. In particular, the methodology adopted follows the one of the popular enhanced Gaussian noise model, albeit dropping most assumptions on the geometry and statistic of the transmitted 4D modulation format. The resulting expressions show that, whilst in the PM-2D case the NLI power depends only on different statistical high-order moments of each polarisation component, for a general DP-4D constellation, several other cross-polarisation correlations also need to be taken into account. 相似文献
