Diffusion approximation of a multitype re-entrant line under smaller-buffer-first-served policy

This paper studies a multitype re-entrant line under smaller-buffer-first-served policy, which is an extension of first-buffer-first-served re-entrant line. We prove a heavy traffic limit theorem. The key to the proof is to prove the uniform convergence of the corresponding critical fluid model.

研究一个带缓冲区(buffer)的两台同型平行机半在线排序模型.设有两台同型平行机,带有一个缓冲区,工件逐个到达,每当一个工件到达时可以被立即分配到机器上进行加工,也可以暂时存储在缓冲区中,加工不允许中断.目标为使两台机器最终负荷的l2范数最小.针对该模型只需缓冲区容量为1(在任一时刻至多存储1个工件),设计出一个最优半在线算法H,其竞争比为ρ≈1.076.     

Fabrication and Characterization of Multi-layer Heat Mirror with Photocatalytic Properties

A novel TiO2（5）/TiO2（buffer）/Ti（4）/Ag（3）/Ti（2）/TiO2（1） multi-layer film coating with corning glass is designed and fabricated by a dc magnetron sputtering method as a renovation of the well-known TiO2/Ti/Ag/Ti/TiO2 system in order to obtain a heat mirror system with photocatalytic properties due to sufficient thickness of the Ti02 layer. The outer TiO2 layer is fabricated in two steps, possibly claimed as two layers TiO2（5） and TiO2（buuer）, among which TiO2（buffer） the 70-nm-thick layer deposited in poor oxygen effectively minimizes the oxidation toward its neighbor Ti（4） layer. The optimal total thickness of the TiO2（5） and TiO（buffer） di-layer is found to be 300nm to yield a highly photo-catalytic property of the film without affecting the optical properties considerably. This multi-layer film can transmit light of above 75-85% in the visible spectrum （380 ≤ λ≤ 760 nm） and reflect radiation of above 90% in the infrared spectrum （ λ≥760 nm）. Such multi-layer coatings are strongly recommended not only as promising transparent heat mirrors but also as photo-catalytic films for architectural window coatings.     

Improved optical packet switching structure with recirculation buffer and feedback tunable wavelength converter

The performance of an optical switching network is mainly determined by its core node structure. An improved optical packet switching （OPS） node structure based on recirculation optical fiber delay line （FDL） and feedback tunable wavelength converter （TWC）, and a specific scheduling algorithm for the node structure are presented. This switching structure supports both point-to-point and point-to-multi- points broadcasting transmission with superior capacity expansion performance. Its superiority in packet loss probability is proved by simulation.     

RLE编码中动态快速等值面抽取算法

结合Shear-Warp投影算法、优化的RLE体数据编码算法,进行基于RLE编码的动态快速等值面抽取算法研究。新的算法在没有硬件加速的条件下,使得绘制的速度得到很大地提高。该算法利用Shear-Warp数据投影中的体数据特点,实现了动态快速的等值面抽取,新算法的绘制速度在工程实践中基本可以达到实时的要求。     

EPC项目关键链缓冲区设置模型研究

为有效解决EPC项目关键链缓冲区时间估计不够准确而影响项目进度计划编制与控制的问题,在分析现有关键链缓冲区设置方面研究成果及其存在不足基础上,首先采用探索性因子分析法,通过文献归纳、问卷设计与数据采集、数据处理与分析,进行了EPC项目缓冲区设置影响因素发掘与提取,提取出了21项EPC项目缓冲区设置关键影响因素;其次建立了基于影响因素权重及其对不同工序影响程度的工序综合权重计算模型,同时引入工序位置权重及工序作业时间风险弹性系数,构建了项目缓冲区及输入缓冲区定量确定模型;最后以某EPC项目为例进行了应用研究,论证了关键链缓冲区设置模型的准确性与可操作性,为EPC项目缓冲区设置提供了借鉴。     

All-optical queue buffer using optical threshold functions and wavelength converters

A modular,cascadable,and self-controlled optical queue buffer is proposed,which can solve the packet contention at a 2×1 optical node.Controlled by incoming optical packets,the buffer can realize firstin-first-out queue buffering without the necessity of external control signals.By using optical threshold functions and wavelength converters based on semiconductor optical amplifier,the push and pop operations of packets on queue can both be achieved.In addition,preliminary experiment is carried out.
