Single Qubit and Its Universal Logic Gate Made of a Heisenberg Spin Cluster with Five Particles

We investigate an anisotropic Heisenberg spin cluster with five particles controlled by a time-dependent magnetic field. With the algebraic dynamical method, we obtain the exact analytical solution to the time dependent Schr6dinger equation. Based on the analytical solution, it is shown that the system can be used as a universal single qubit logic gate controlled by the strength and frequency of the magnetic field, and the six special single qubit logic gates can be realized physically. We also discuss the anti-decoherence property of the qubit and its logic gates resulted from particle coupling effect and collectivity of the cluster.     

A New View on Fuzzy Hypermodules

We describe the relationship between the fuzzy sets and the algebraic hyperstructures. In fact, this paper is a continuation of the ideas presented by Davvaz in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 117： 477- 484, 2001） and Bhakat and Das in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 80： 359-368, 1996）. The concept of the quasicoincidence of a fuzzy interval value with an interval-valued fuzzy set is introduced and this is a natural generalization of the quasi-coincidence of a fuzzy point in fuzzy sets. By using this new idea, the concept of interval-valued （α,β）-fuzzy sub-hypermodules of a hypermodule is defined. 由于纳秒级的脉冲信号在平板结构传输中，辐射损较大，因此对于瞬态脉冲信号的传输一般采用同轴结构。超宽带脉冲信号的辐射较常采用TEM喇叭天线，由两片三角形的平面极板构成。对于应用TEM喇叭（或将其作为抛物面天线馈源）辐射高功率超宽带脉冲信号，一个重要的问题是如何将高功率脉冲信号由同轴传输线过渡到平板结构天线。     

A Multi-component Matrix Loop Algebra and Its Application

A set of multi-component matrix Lie algebra is constructed. It follows that a type of new loop algebra A^- M-1 is presented. An isospectral problem is established. Integrable multi-component hierarchy is obtained by Tu pattern, which possesses tri-Hamiltonian structures. Furthermore, it can be reduced to the well-known AKNS hierarchy and BPT hierarchy. Therefore, the major result of this paper can be regarded as a unified expression integrable model of the AKNS hierarchy and the BPT hierarchy.     

Nonlinear Correlations of Protein Sequences and Symmetries of Their Structures

We investigate the nonlinear correlations of protein sequences by using the nonlinear prediction method developed in nonlinear dynamical theory. It is found that a lot of protein sequences show strong nonlinear correlations and have deterministic structures. Further investigations show that the strong nonlinear correlations of these protein sequences are due to the symmetries of their tertiary structures. Furthermore, the correlation lengths of the sequences are related to the degrees of the symmetries. These results support the duplication mechanism of protein evolution and also reveal one aspect how amino acid sequences encode their spatial structures.     

High Power One- and Two-Order Cascaded Raman Lasers Based on Home-Made Phosphosilicate Fibre

One- and two-order cascaded Raman fibre lasers are demonstrated by using home-made P-doped Raman fibres.An output power of 2.8 W at 1245 nm with a slope efficiency of 33.4% and an output power of 2.0 W at 1495 nm with a slope efficiency of 23.5% are obtained with the pump source at 1069. 7nm.
