A single-photon detector based on an InGaAs avalanche photodiode has been developed for use at telecom wavelengths. A suitable delay and sampling gate modulation circuit are used to prevent positive and negative transient pulses from influencing the detection of true photon induced avalanches. A monostable trigger circuit eliminates the influence of avalanche peak jitter, and a dead time modulation feedback control circuit decreases the afterpulsing. From performance tests we lind that at the optimum operation point, the quantum efficiency is 12% and the dark count rate 1.5 × 10^-6 ns^-1, with a detection rate of 500 kHz.  相似文献

A novel scheme to generate tunable dual-wavelength optical pulses with low timing jitter at arbitrary repetition rates is proposed and demonstrated experimentally. The pulses are generated from a gain-switched Fabry-Pérot laser diode with two external cw beams for injection seeding simultaneously. The cw light is generated by two independent distributed feedback laser diodes, and their wavelengths can be tuned independently by two temperature controllers. The dual-wavelength pulses with the pulse width of 57 ps, the timing jitter of 340 fs, are obtained. The sidemode-suppression ratio of the output pulses is better than 23dB over a 10-nm wavelength tuning range.  相似文献

The extinction cross sections of a system containing two particles are calculated by the T-matrix method, and the results are compared with those of two single particles with single-scattering approximation. The necessity of the correction of the refractive indices of water and polystyrene for different incident wavelengths is particularly addressed in the calculation. By this means, the volume fractions allowed for certain accuracy requirements of single-scattering approximation in the light scattering experiment can be evaluated. The volume fractions calculated with corrected refractive indices are compared with those obtained with fixed refractive indices which have been rather commonly used, showing that fixed refractive indices may cause significant error in evaluating multiple scattering effect. The results also give a simple criterion for selecting the incident wavelength and particle size to avoid the 'blind zone' in the turbidity measurement, where the turbidity change is insensitive to aggregation of two particles.  相似文献

A high power dual-wavelength Ti:sapphire laser system with wide turning range and high efficiency is described, which consists of two prism-dispersed resonators pumped by an a11-solid-state frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser. Tunable dual-wavelength outputs, with one wavelength range from 750nm to 795nm and the other from 80Ohm to 850nm, have been demonstrated. With a pump power of 23 W at 532nm, a repetition rate of 6.5kHz and a pulse width of 67.6ns, the maximum dual-wavelength output power of 5.6 W at 785.3nm and 812.1 run, with a pulse width of 17.2ns and a line width of 2nm, has been achieved, leading to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 24.4%.  相似文献

Mode gain spectrum is measured by the Fourier series expansion method for InAs/GaAs quantum-dot (QD) lasers with seven stacks of QDs at different injection currents. Gain spectra with distinctive peaks are observed at the short and long wavelengths of about 1210nm and 1300nm. For a QD laser with the cavity length of 1060μm, the peak gain of the long wavelength first increases slowly or even decreases with the injection current as the peak gain of the short wavelength increases quickly, and finally increases quickly before approaching the saturated values as the injection current further increases.  相似文献

Cr-Nb nano-multilayered films with various modulation wavelengths A are prepared by e-gun evaporation and their mechanical properties are investigated. Cr and Nb both have bcc structures with large differences in lattice constants and Young's modulus, which are supposed to favour modulus enhancement. Nevertheless, nano-indention measurements show no enhancement for the modulus and a slight decrease for the hardness with decreasing A down to 5 nm. This is mainly due to counter-contribution to modulus from adjacent layers subjected to reverse strains, in agreement with recent theoretical study, while the decrease of hardness arises from grain boundary sliding. Interestingly, at A = 3 nm, the hardness of the film has an increase of 44% relative to the value of a rule of mixture, owing to the emergence of a new phase for reconciling the structure difference at the interfaces.  相似文献

用光子学方法研究了叠栅技术中,当试件光栅被拉压和旋转后,叠栅条纹的空间周期和相对于基准光栅的取向,试件光栅被拉压后的节距等相关问题。根据衍射光波的空间周期可能大于试件光栅空间周期的特点,对二维亚波长周期结构衍射成像进行了设计研究。首先,对二维亚波长周期结构衍射物进行编码,以获得包含编码光栅空间信息的均匀波;其次,使编码得到的均匀波通过光学系统,并被放大到CCD相机所能辨识的大小;再次,经解码光栅解码,滤掉编码波,最终获得二维亚波长周期结构物的空间结构信息,达到超分辨的目的。同时,对成像过程进行了较为详尽的分析,对编码器、解码器的位置以及它们相对衍射物的取向进行了设计研究,对滤波器的选择给予了必要的说明,指出了取得超分辨成像的关键。  相似文献

提出了采用双波长光学低相干干涉仪(Optical low coherence interferometer,OCI)来测量人体视网膜血管中血氧饱和度(Oxygen Saturation,SO2)的方法.详细阐述了双波长光学低相干干涉术用于血氧饱和度测量的基本原理,并分析了OCI中双波长的选择原则.基于内径为200μm的毛细玻璃管的简易人眼视网膜血管模型,分别模拟了光源中心波长为680nm和820nm时血液血氧饱和度由40%提高到60%时对应干涉信号的变化.数值分析表明,要判别20%的血氧饱和度变化,0CI系统灵敏度至少要达到70dB.  相似文献
