ON THE BOUNDEDNESS OF SPHERES IN F-SPACES

In this paper, some results concerning the relationship between the bounded-ness of some spheres and the local boundedness of the F*-space are presented. Moreover, some results about the compactness are also given.

研究了一类不确定时变时滞系统的鲁棒自适应稳定控制问题.系统包含多变时滞非线性扰动.基于Lyapunov稳定性理论和Lyapunov-K rasovsk ii型泛函设计出了一种无记忆的自适应状态反馈控制器,并证明了满足一定条件时,此控制器使得闭环系统最终一致有界.     

Learning from regularized regression algorithms with <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>-order Markov chain sampling

Evaluation for the performance of learning algorithm has been the main thread of theoretical research of machine learning. The performance of the regularized regression algorithm based on independent and identically distributed(i.i.d.) samples has been researched by a large number of references. In the present paper we provide the convergence rates for the performance of regularized regression based on the inputs of p-order Markov chains.     

On positive invertibility of operators and their decompositions

In Banach spaces ordered by a normal cone that contains interior points the positive invertibility of operators is studied. If there exists a uniformly positive functional then any positively invertible operator A possesses a B -decomposition, i.e., a positive decomposition A = U – V with the properties: U^–1 exists, VU^–1 ≥ 0, Ax ≥ 0, U x ≥ 0 imply x ≥ 0 and r (VU^–1) < 1. Earlier it was shown that the existence of a B -decomposition with r (VU^–1) < 1 is sufficient for the positive invertibility of the operator A. Peris' result is obtained as a special case of the main theorem. 一类中立型时变非线性控制系统的镇定与控制

本文利用专著（１）￣（３）中的有关方法，讨论了一类具有滞后的中立型时变非线性控制系统的镇定与次优控制问题，得出了滞后量与非线性项的估计公式，并推广了文（４），（５）的结果。     

四阶奇异摄动边值问题在自适应网格上的一致收敛分析

we study a difference scheme for the fourth-order singular pertur-bation differential equation on the Bakhvalov-Shishkin grid by Green‘‘s function.The method is shown to be uniformly convergent with respect to the perturbation parameter,of order N^-2 in the maxmum norm on Bakhvalov-Shishkin meshes.Numerical results support our theoretical results.     

Model filled polymers. IX. Synthesis of uniformly crosslinked polystyrene microbeads

Monodisperse sized crosslinked polystyrene (PS) beads prepared by reaction of styrene (S) and divinylbenzene (DVB), in batch emulsion copolymerization in the absence of emulsifiers, are not uniformly crosslinked, because DVB is more reactive than S. For copolymerization of 1 to 10 mol % DVB and S, within each crosslinked PS microbead, the crosslink density varies by a factor exceeding two and decreases with increased conversion. A semicontinuous copolymerization, involving incremental additions of DVB, produces uniformly crosslinked PS beads. For both copolymerization techniques, T_g correlates well with crosslink density and PS beads are spherical and monodisperse in size. © 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive semi-groups in Banach spaces

Some strong convergence theorems of explicit composite iteration scheme for nonexpansive semi-groups in the framework of Banach spaces are established.Results presented in the paper not only extend and improve the corresponding results of Shioji- Takahashi,Suzuki,Xu and Aleyner-Reich,but also give a partially affirmative answer to the open questions raised by Suzuki and Xu.     

A uniform boundedness theorem for locally convex cones

We prove a uniform boundedness theorem for families of linear operators on ordered cones. Using the concept of locally convex cones we introduce the notions of barreled cones and of weak cone-completeness. Our main result, though no straightforward generalization of the classical case, implies the Uniform Boundedness Theorem for Fréchet spaces.

     

Metrizability and Coconnectedness

Solving the problem stated in Sichler and Trnková, Topol. Its Appl., 142: 159–179, 2004, we construct metrics μ, ν on a set P such that the spaces X=(P,μ) and Y=(P,ν) have the same monoid of all continuous selfmaps, the space Y is coconnected (in the sense that every continuous map Y×Y→Y depends on at most one coordinate) while X is not. Also, properties of the forgetful functors Metr → Unif → Top are investigated for the “simultaneous variant” of the above problem.
