Some Characterizations of Hereditarily Indecomposable Banach Spaces

In this paper we first discuss the relations between some G-M-type spaces, and the previous eight kinds of G-M-type Banach spaces are merged into four different kinds. Then we build a Generalized Operator Extension Theorem, and introduce the concept of complete minimal sequences. Some sufficient and necessary conditions under which a Banach space is a hereditarily indecomposable space are given. Finally, we give some characterizations of hereditarily indecomposable Banach Spaces.     

回转体表面条纹沟槽减阻水洞实验研究

本文在条纹沟槽表面减阻理论分析的基础上,对条纹沟槽表面回转体进行了大量的水洞实验研究。实验模型表面条纹沟槽采用直接加工方法,头部线型为双参数平方根圆头曲线,尾部线型为双参数尖尾曲线。实验结果分析表明,与相同形状、尺寸的光滑表面回转体相比,条纹沟槽表面回转体在一定速度范围内存在很好的减阻效果,最大减阻量超过6%,且在小攻角范围内减阻量基本稳定,对回转体升力特性也没有影响。对比不同尺寸条纹沟槽的减阻效果发现,降阻量不但随条纹沟槽宽度S变化,而且随来流速度U∞变化,即与无因次沟槽宽度S (文中近似取S =S.LRe2Ckx,其中k为总阻力Cx的修正因子)存在着一定的关系。对于V型条纹沟槽具有减阻效果的S 的范围在10到60之间。本文研究证明,条纹沟槽表面减阻技术在水下航行器设计领域有着很好的应用前景,同时文中所取得的研究成果对该技术的应用具有一定的促进作用。     

自由Rota-Baxter代数的因子分解

近年来,Rota-Baxter代数在数学和物理学中有着广泛的应用,受到越来越多的关注,自由Rota-Baxter代数分别用括号字,根树以及Motzkin路径得到了构造.因子分解在代数学中是一个很重要的问题.本文主要考虑用括号字构造的自由RotaBaxter代数,得到了自由Rota-Baxter代数中基元素的因子分解.     

A tensor product of the Steinberg module and a certain simple kG(pr)-module

Let G be a connected, semisimple, and simply connected algebraic group defined and split over the finite field of order p, and let G(q) be the corresponding finite Chevalley or twisted group, where q = p^r. Recently, Anwar determines the direct sum decomposition of the tensor product of the rth Steinberg module and a simple G-module with a (p,r)-minuscule highest weight λ. In this paper, we determine that of the tensor product regarded as a module for G(q) under some weak assumptions for λ.     

Planar and Nonplanar Shock Waves in a Degenerate Quantum Plasma

The nonlinear propagation of modified electron‐acoustic (mEA) shock waves in an unmagnetized, collisionless, relativistic, degenerate quantum plasma (containing non‐relativistic degenerate inertial cold electrons, both nonrelativistic and ultra‐relativistic degenerate hot electron and inertial positron fluids, and positively charged static ions) has been investigated theoretically. The well‐known Burgers type equation has been derived for both planar and nonplanar geometry by employing the reductive perturbation method. The shock wave solution has also been obtained and numerically analyzed. It has been observed that the mEA shock waves are significantly modified due to the effects of degenerate pressure and other plasma parameters arised in this investigation. The properties of planar Burgers shocks are quite different from those of nonplanar Burgers shocks. The basic features and the underlying physics of shock waves, which are relevant to some astrophysical compact objects (viz. non‐rotating white dwarfs, neutron stars, etc.), are briefly discussed. The ubiquity of generalized cluster categories

Associated with a finite-dimensional algebra of global dimension at most 2, a generalized cluster category was introduced in Amiot (2009) [1]. It was shown to be triangulated, and 2-Calabi–Yau when it is Hom-finite. By definition, the cluster categories of Buan et al. (2006) [4] are a special case. In this paper we show that a large class of 2-Calabi–Yau triangulated categories, including those associated with elements in Coxeter groups from Buan et al. (2009) [7], are triangle equivalent to generalized cluster categories. This was already shown for some special elements in Amiot (2009) [1].     

Fundamental groupoids for simplicial objects in Mal'tsev categories

We show that the category of internal groupoids in an exact Mal'tsev category is reflective, and, moreover, a Birkhoff subcategory of the category of simplicial objects. We then characterize the central extensions of the corresponding Galois structure, and show that regular epimorphisms admit a relative monotone-light factorization system in the sense of Chikhladze. We also draw some comparison with Kan complexes. By comparing the reflections of simplicial objects and reflexive graphs into groupoids, we exhibit a connection with weighted commutators (as defined by Gran, Janelidze and Ursini).     

Upper and Lower Bounds of Table Sums

For a group G,we produce upper and lower bounds for the sum of the entries of the Brauer character table of G and the projective indecomposable character table of G.When G is a π-separable group,we show that the sum of the entries in the table of Isaacs' partial characters is a real number,and we obtain upper and lower bounds for this sum.
