A connection between Romanovski polynomials and those polynomials that solve the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation with the trigonometric Rosen-Morse and hyperbolic Scarf potential is established. The map is constructed by reworking the Rodrigues formula in an elementary and natural way. The generating function is summed in closed form from which recursion relations and addition theorems follow. Relations to some classical polynomials are also given.  相似文献

We prove a common fixed point theorem of Gregus type for four mappings satisfying a contractive condition of integral type in metric spaces using the concept of weak compatibility which generalizes Theorem 2 of [A. Djoudi, L. Nisse, Gregus type fixed points for weakly compatible mappings, Bull. Belg. Math. Soc. 10 (2003) 369-378] and other papers. We prove also common fixed point theorems of Gregus type using a strict contractive condition of integral type, a property (E.A) and a common property (E.A) introduced by [M. Aamri, D. El Moutawakil, Some new common fixed point theorems under strict contractive conditions, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 270 (2002) 181-188] and [W. Liu, J. Wu, Z. Stochastic programming is recognized as a powerful tool to help decision making under uncertainty in financial planning. The deterministic equivalent formulations of these stochastic programs have huge dimensions even for moderate numbers of assets, time stages and scenarios per time stage. So far models treated by mathematical programming approaches have been limited to simple linear or quadratic models due to the inability of currently available solvers to solve NLP problems of typical sizes. However stochastic programming problems are highly structured. The key to the efficient solution of such problems is therefore the ability to exploit their structure. Interior point methods are well-suited to the solution of very large non-linear optimization problems. In this paper we exploit this feature and show how portfolio optimization problems with sizes measured in millions of constraints and decision variables, featuring constraints on semi-variance, skewness or non-linear utility functions in the objective, can be solved with the state-of-the-art solver.  相似文献

In this paper, the existence of sign-changing solutions for nonlinear operator equations is discussed by using the topological degree and fixed point index theory. The main theorems are some new three-solution theorems which are different from the famous Amann's and Leggett-Williams' three-solution theorems as well as the results in [F. Li, G. Han, Generalization for Amann's and Leggett-Williams' three-solution theorems and applications, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 298 (2004) 638-654]. These three solutions are all nonzero. One of them is positive, another is negative, and the third one is a sign-changing solution. Furthermore, the theoretical results are successfully applied to both integral and differential equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a second-order nonlinear difference equation with sign-changing nonlinearity subject to two different sets of nonlocal boundary conditions. The explicit expressions of the associated Green's functions are presented. By using a recently developed fixed point theorem, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence of multiple positive solutions of the boundary value problem.  相似文献

The dynamics of the one-sector optimal growth model with recursive utility is analyzed through the use of a phase diagram. The steady state uniquely exists and is a saddle point. An increase in recursivity lowers both the steady-state capital and steady-state consumption.
