A graph G is κ-ordered Hamiltonian 2≤κ≤n,if for every ordered sequence S of κ distinct vertices of G,there exists a Hamiltonian cycle that encounters S in the given order,In this article,we prove that if G is a graph on n vertices with degree sum of nonadjacent vertices at least n 3κ-9/2,then G is κ-ordered Hamiltonian for κ=3,4,…,[n/19].We also show that the degree sum bound can be reduced to n 2[κ/2]-2 if κ(G)≥3κ-1/2 or δ(G)≥5κ-4.Several known results are generalized.  相似文献

We investigate the asymptotics of the size Ramsey number î(K1,nF), where K1,n is the n‐star and F is a fixed graph. The author 11 has recently proved that r?(K1,n,F)=(1+o(1))n2 for any F with chromatic number χ(F)=3. Here we show that r?(K1,n,F)≤ n2+o(n2), if χ (F) ≥ 4 and conjecture that this is sharp. We prove the case χ(F)=4 of the conjecture, that is, that r?(K1,n,F)=(4+o(1))n2 for any 4‐chromatic graph F. Also, some general lower bounds are obtained. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We deal with the 2‐orthogonal, 2‐symmetric self‐associated sequence (2‐orthogonal Tchebychev polynomials) and its cubic components. We prove that all the forms (linear functionals) arising are third degree forms. Therefore, an introduction to third degree forms is provided. We look for the connection between these components which are 2‐orthogonal with respect to the functional vector t(w0{μ},w1 μ) and orthogonal sequences with respect to w0 μ, μ=0,1,2. Associated forms w0 μ)1) and their inverse w0 μ)-1 are also studied through the symmetrized w0}0 μ, μ=0,1,2. Further, we give integral representations for some of these forms.
