类锂离子与软X射线激光研究有关的跃迁波长和振子强度

本文用多组态HXR自洽场方法和优化以Slater径向积分法相结计算了类锂离子(Z=13～17,19)1s~2nl~2LJ(2≤n≤5,0≤l≤4)能级之间的跃迁波长和振子强度,并和实验进行了比较。就软X射线激光跃迁4f—3d而言,本文计算的波长值比其它文献的计算值更接近于观测值。     

Electric Dipole Moment of W-boson Through Neutral Higga-Boson Exchange

We compute the electric dipole moment generated at two-loop for the W-boson in the Weinberg-Higgs model in which the CP violation is mediated by neutral Higgs-boson exchange. We also compare our results with the others relative to the problem in the literature     

Dynamics of a pair of coupled nonlinear oscillators

A pair of coupled classical oscillators with a general potential and general form of coupling is investigated. For general potentials, the single-frequency solution is shown to be stable for small excitations. For special potentials, such system remains stable for an arbitrary excitation. In both cases, the stability does not depend on the form of coupling. Transition to the instability regime follows from the way how nonlinear potential entrains the energy transfer between the oscillators. Relation between the existence of multi-frequency quasi-periodic or periodic solutions and the instability of single-frequency ones is discussed.     

SPM-induced spectral compression of picosecond pulses in a single-mode Yb-doped fiber amplifier

In a fiber amplifier, spectral compression due to self-phase modulation is demonstrated for ultrashort pulses. We report the generation of near-transform-limited picosecond pulses with peak powers of several kW at a repetition rate of 74 MHz and diffraction-limited beam quality in a Yb-doped fiber amplifier when seeding with a negative chirped pulse. The derivative expansion of the effective action is a perturbative development in derivatives of the fields. The expansion breaks down when some of the derivatives are too large. We show how to sum exactly the first and second derivatives and treat perturbatively derivatives higher than second.

Mechanisms of ion-beam-enhanced diffusion in amorphous silicon

We have investigated ion-beam-enhanced diffusion of Au in undoped and B doped amorphous Si. The diffusion coefficients depend linearly on ion flux and exibit an Arrhenius-like temperature dependence with an activation energy of 0.37 eV in the temperature range 200–350° C. Moreover the diffusivity is enhanced by a factor of 5 by B-doping at a concentration of 1×10²⁰ atoms/cm³. A similar enhancement is observed in thermal diffusion of Au which has an activation energy of 1.5 eV. On the basis of these results a model for the ion-beam-enhanced diffusion of Au is proposed where the high density of defects present in amorphous Si act as traps for the fast moving interstitial Au atoms. The effectiveness of this trapping process can be changed by the high concentration of mobile defects generated by the beam and also by a change in the charge state of the traps induced by the presence of B.     

Biomagnetic measurements utilising a superparamagnetic marker: a feasibility study

Summary A preliminary study is here reported on a new potential marker for biomagnetic measurements. The marker consists of superparamagnetic polymer microspheres which were detected in the presence of external steady magnetic fields by means of an r.f.-SQUID magnetometer. The particles were prepared in samples differing in the concentration value and immersed in a homogeneous magnetic field of variable intensity. A simple model was taken into account for the distribution of the microspheres in the samples, so that the theoretical values were compared to the marker field values measured by the biomagnetic sensor. The overall sensitivity of the experimental apparatus and the minimum concentration value of the marker were then estimated.     

TiVI真空紫外光谱

用1m法向入射光谱仪观察三电极真空火花发射的Ti五次离化光谱。在24～200nm波段内观察到157条TiVI的新谱线。根据新归属的TiVI谱线定出11个新能级,并对5个有疑问的能级值作了修正。
