一种特殊截止单模光纤的传输性能研究

为了提高特殊截止单模光纤的弯曲可靠性,采用气相沉积工艺制作了包层直径80μm碳涂覆的特殊截止单模光纤,测试了光纤的截止波长、模场、衰减谱、宏弯、色散等传输性能和应力腐蚀敏感性参数。测试结果表明光纤截止波长小于915nm,能够实现915nm以上波长单模工作,在常用的几个波段具有较低的传输损耗,光纤的零色散波长红移到1 670nm。采用碳涂覆工艺提高光纤的应力腐蚀敏感性参数达到35,结合小包层直径预期可以提高光纤的使用寿命。     

A Model for Fractal Dimension of Rough Surfaces

We report a model for the fractal dimension D8 of rough surfaces based on the fractal distribution of roughness elements on surfaces and the fractal character of surface profiles. The proposed model for the fractal dimension Ds is expressed as a function of the fractaJ dimensions D for conic roughness diameter/height and Dp for surface profile, maximum roughness base diameter λmax, the ratio β of conic roughness height to its base radius as well as the ratio λmin/λmasx of the minimum to the maximal base diameter.

Angular Distribution of Synchrotron Radiation in Low Frequency

The angular distribution of energy for synchrotron radiation in low frequency band （ω 〈〈 we） is obtained by rigorously solving the Nicolo Tartaglia equation. The result shows that the critical angle increases with decreasing frequency, but it cannot exceed 90°. The relation between critical angle θc. and frequency is common covering all wavelengths. For the small angle case, it is consistent with the result obtained by Jackson. With the increase of emanative angle, the radiant intensity increases first, then decays.

用于闪光照相的1MV Rod-Pinch二极管辐射特性

Rod-Pinch二极管(RPD)在小尺度闪光照相方面具有良好的应用前景.根据理论方面的研究结果以及实验室具备的驱动源装置水平,设计了相应结构的RPD,并在1MV工作电压下开展了较为详细的性能实验研究.最终在二极管轴向(0.方向)lm处得到的x光剂量为1.21rad-1.45rad.对于阳极直径为lmm的二极管,其X光焦斑直径仅为0.8mm-1.1mm.X光信号的脉宽为18.1ns-27.5ns.研究表明RPD将是一种用于小尺度闪光照相的理想的X光源.     

Absolute small-angle measurement based on optical feedback interferometry

We present a simple but effective method for small-angle measurement based on optical feedback interferometry （or laser self-mixing interferometry）. The absolute zero angle can be defined at the biggest fringe amplitude point, so this method can also achieve absolute angle measurement. In order to verify the method, we construct an angle measurement system. The Fourier-transform method is used to analysis the interference signal. Rotation angles are experimentally measured with a resolution of 10^-6 rad and a measurement range of approximately from -0.0007 to ＋0.0007 rad.
