A Fritz John type first-order optimality condition is derived for infinite-dimensional programming problems involving the approximate subdifferential. A discussion of the important properties of the approximate subdifferential for locally Lipschitz functions is included. In addition, an upper semicontinuity condition is obtained for an approximate subdifferential multifunction related to the class of locally compactly Lipschitzian mappings.The authors would like to thank two anonymous referees for their detailed comments which have significantly improved the presentation of this paper. In this paper, a new and simple approach whereby we derive several sufficient conditions on robust stabilizability for a class of uncertain dynamical systems with time delay is presented. Some analytical methods and the Bellman-Gronwall inequality are employed to investigate these sufficient conditions. The notable features of the results obtained are their simplicity in testing the stability of uncertain dynamical systems with time delay and their clarity in giving insight into system analysis. Finally, several numerical examples are given to demonstrate the utilization of the results.The authors would like to acknowledge the many helpful comments provided by the reviewer. We prove the convexity of the set which is delimited by the free boundary corresponding to a quasi-linear elliptic equation in a 2-dimensional convex domain. The method relies on the study of the curvature of the level lines at the points which realize the maximum of the normal derivative at a given level, for analytic solutions of fully nonlinear elliptic equations. The method also provides an estimate of the gradient in terms of the minimum of the (signed) curvature of the boundary of the domain, which is not necessarily assumed to be convex.  相似文献

The known methods of gas-dynamic temperature stratification are reviewed. Attention is concentrated on an analysis of the possibilities of the gas dynamic stratification method proposed by the author. The method is based on the difference between the equilibrium temperature of a thermally insulated wall in supersonic flow and the adiabatic stagnation temperature of the gas. Certain possible practical applications of the method to various types of energy-converting apparatus are considered. The basic trends of fundamental and applied research in the field of gas-dynamic temperature stratification are formulated.  相似文献

The first and second Maurer-Cartan structure relations are combined with the Evans field equation [1] for differential forms to build a grand unified field theory based on differential geometry. The tetrad or vielbein plays a central role in this theory, and all four fields currently thought to exist in nature can be described by the same equations, the tangent space index of the tetrad in general relativity being identified with the tetrad's internal (gauge group) index guage theory.  相似文献

In this paper we analyze some questions concerning the contingent epiderivative. When the ordering cone is not necessarily pointed we introduce the notion of family of contingent epiderivatives. We also investigate the relationship between the contingent derivative and the generalized epiderivative. Furthermore, we give existence theorems with respect to Daniell cones. The scaled boundary finite‐element method is a novel semi‐analytical technique, combining the advantages of the finite element and the boundary element methods with unique properties of its own. The method works by weakening the governing differential equations in one co‐ordinate direction through the introduction of shape functions, then solving the weakened equations analytically in the other (radial) co‐ordinate direction. These co‐ordinate directions are defined by the geometry of the domain and a scaling centre. The method can be employed for both bounded and unbounded domains. This paper applies the method to problems of potential flow around streamlined and bluff obstacles in an infinite domain. The method is derived using a weighted residual approach and extended to include the necessary velocity boundary conditions at infinity. The ability of the method to model unbounded problems is demonstrated, together with its ability to model singular points in the near field in the case of bluff obstacles. Flow fields around circular and square cylinders are computed, graphically illustrating the accuracy of the technique, and two further practical examples are also presented. In this paper, the authors discuss the stability of the solutions to Hilbert boundary value problem under perturbation of the unit circle. When the index of this problem is non-negative, by extending Lavrentjev's conformal mapping on a region approximating to a unit disc, we show the solutions are stable under small perturbations. For negative index we give a conception of quasi-solution and discuss its stability correspondingly.  相似文献
