Polyoxymethylene (POM, polyacetal) is one of the most popular plastics for machine elements, especially in Japan. However, it is difficult to use it under severe operating conditions such as high speed and high contact pressure. Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings were well known to be tribological and functional coatings. However, both POM and DLC coatings are difficult to adhere them each other. In the present paper, DLC coatings are deposited by plasma-based ion implantation and deposition (PBIID) method on POM substrate, and validity of DLC coatings on POM was investigated through friction and mechanical tests. When gas pressure was 0.2 and 0.8 Pa, hardness and adhesion properties of DLC coating deposited under gas pressure of 0.5 Pa were lower compared with under 0.2 and 0.8 Pa. For preparing DLC coatings having hard and good adhesion properties, relatively thin substrate was suitable. A correlation between relative humidity in the laboratory and friction coefficient was confirmed while DLC coatings remain on the substrate.  相似文献

We apply the first-principles approach to study the structural stability, Vickers hardness, and elastic modulus of ReB12 and RuB12. In particular, we further investigate the influence of high pressure on the structural stability and mechanical properties of ReB12 and RuB12. The calculated results show that ReB12 and RuB12 are thermodynamic stability under high pressure. Here, ReB12 is more thermodynamic stability than that of the RuB12. The calculated Vickers hardness of ReB12 and RuB12 is 16.25 and 16.55 GPa, respectively. It is found that the calculated elastic constants and elastic modulus of ReB12 and RuB12 increase with increasing pressure. In particular, the calculated elastic constants and elastic modulus of ReB12 are larger than that of the RuB12. The calculated electronic structure shows that the high hardness and elastic modulus of ReB12 and RuB12 are attributed to the 3D network B-B covalent bonds.  相似文献

为研究高硬度钢板抗不同着角钨球的侵彻性能及破坏模式,通过弹道枪进行了?8 mm、?11 mm钨合金球形破片以0°、20°、40°着角撞击厚度为6 mm、8 mm的高硬度钢板试验,得到了极限贯穿速度v50;分析了钨球轴向径向变形及靶板失效模式与撞击速度的关系,发现高硬度钢板失效模式主要为压缩开坑破坏和沿厚度方向剪切破坏。采用有限元方法对试验进行了模拟,验证了数值模型及参数的合理性,并运用数值模拟方法研究了撞击着角对靶板吸能模式影响,结合试验数据,修正已有极限贯穿速度计算公式。结果表明:随侵彻着角增大,极限贯穿速度提高,且着角越大,极限贯穿速度增长越快;随着角增大,靶板吸能模式逐渐由压缩开坑向剪切冲塞过渡,且着角大于50°时,剪切冲塞耗能将超过压缩开坑耗能;修正后极限贯穿速度计算公式适用范围更广、精度更高,具有较好工程应用价值。  相似文献

The morphology of a quaternary blend containing a diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA), a thermoplastic modifier (PMMA), a phase-separating curing agent (diaminodiphenylmethane, DDM), and a non-phase-separating curing agent (methylenebis(3-chloro-2,6-diethylaniline, MCDEA) was studied as a function of volume fraction of the thermoplastic modifier and fractional concentration of the curing agents in their mixture. It was found that using mixtures of curing agents a co-continuous morphology could be obtained at PMMA concentrations as low as 2.5 volume percent. Using FTIR spectroscopy it was proved that specific interactions are present between PMMA and individual amine curing agents. On the other hand, there was no detectable specific interaction between PMMA and DGEBA. By analyzing the micro-indentation hardness data of the cryo-fractured samples and putting forward the intrinsic hardness concept, it was proposed that the co-continuous morphology is inherently more effective than the other morphologies in changing the mechanical properties of the above-mentioned multi-component blends.  相似文献

用脉冲偏压电弧离子镀技术在玻璃基片上制备均匀透明的TiO2薄膜.利用X射线衍射仪、原子力显微镜、扫描电子显微镜、紫外-可见透射光谱仪和纳米压痕仪等手段,对不同脉冲负偏压下合成薄膜的相结构、微观结构、表面形貌、力学和光学性能进行表征.结果表明,沉积态薄膜为非晶态.脉冲负偏压对薄膜性能有明显的影响.随偏压的增加,薄膜厚度、硬度和弹性模量均先增大后减小,前者峰值出现在100—200 V负偏压范围,后两者则在250—350V范围.300 V负偏压时薄膜硬度最高,薄膜达到原子级表面光滑度,均方 关键词: 2薄膜')" href="#">TiO2薄膜 脉冲偏压电弧离子镀 硬度 折射率  相似文献

The hydrogenated amorphous carbon nitride (a‐CNx:H) thin films were synthesized on the SS‐304 substrates using a dense plasma focus device. The a‐CNx:H thin films were synthesized using CH4/N2 admixture gas and 20 focus deposition shots on substrates placed at different distances from the anode top. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman analysis confirmed different C–N bonding in the a‐CNx:H thin films. A decrease in the N/C ratio as well as the sp3/sp2 ratio with an increase in the substrate distance has been observed. The higher amount of C–N formation for the film synthesized at 10 cm is observed which decreases with increasing distance. The X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman analysis affirmed the C ≡ N presence in all the thin films synthesized at different distances. The morphology of the synthesized a‐CNx:H thin films showed nanoparticles and nanoparticle clusters formation at the surface. The hardness results showed comparatively lower hardness of the a‐CNx:H thin films due to the presence of C ≡ N. The C–N formation with lower amount of C ≡ N and a higher N/C ratio as well as a higher sp3/sp2 ratio for the films synthesized at 10 cm show reasonably higher hardness. Relying upon the fact that the density functional computation of the global hardness of the atoms of the elements are still at large and there is some mathematical in congruency between the theory and operational formula of finite difference approximation, we have suggested a radial‐dependent ansatz for evaluating global hardness of atoms as: η=a(7.2/r)+b (in eV), where, “a” and “b” are the constants and r is the absolute radius of atoms in angstrom unit. The ansatz is invoked to evaluate the global hardness of atoms of 103 element of the periodic table. The evaluated new set of global hardness is found to satisfy the sine qua non of a reasonable scale of hardness by exhibiting perfect periodicity of periods and groups and correlating the gross physicochemical properties of elements. The inertness of Hg and extreme reactivity Cs atoms are nicely correlated. The chemical reactivity and its variation in small steps in the series of lanthanide elements are also nicely reproduced. The results of the present semiempirical calculation also have strong correlation with the result of some sophisticated DFT calculation for a set of atoms. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 采用低压等离子体聚合技术,通过调整工作气压和反式二丁烯(T2B)与H2流量比制备了辉光放电聚合物(GDP)涂层. 利用傅里叶变换红外吸收光谱和元素分析法讨论了工作气压和T2B与H2流量比对GDP涂层内部H原子含量及结构的影响,并且通过纳米压痕技术对GDP涂层的硬度及杨氏模量进行了表征.研究结果表明:降低工作气压和T2B与H2流量比,GDP涂层内sp3 C 关键词: 傅里叶变换红外光谱 纳米压痕 杨氏模量 硬度  相似文献

TiN/TiAlN multilayer coatings were deposited on M2 high speed steel by a pulsed bias arc ion plating system. The effect of pulsed bias duty ratio on the microstructure, mechanical and wear properties was investigated. The amount of macroparticles reduced with the increase of the duty ratio. The surface roughness was 0.0858 μm at duty ratio of 50%. TiN/TiAlN multilayer coatings were crystallized with orientations in the (1 1 1), (2 0 0) (2 2 2) and (3 1 1) crystallographic planes and the microstructure strengthened at (1 1 1) preferred orientation. At duty ratio of 20%, the hardness of TiN/TiAlN multilayer coatings reached a maximum of 3004 HV, which was 3.2 times that of the substrate. The adhesion strength reached a maximum of 77 N at 50% duty ratio. Friction and wear analyses were carried out by pin-on-disc tester at room temperature. Compared with the substrate, all the specimens coated with TiN/TiAlN multilayer coatings exhibited better tribological properties.  相似文献
