Electron spin resonance of diluted solid solutions of MnO2 in Y2O3

Electron spin resonance spectra of Mn²⁺ in diluted solid solutions of MnO₂ in Y₂O₃ have been studied at room temperature for Mn concentrations between 0.20 and 2.00 mol%. Isolated Mn²⁺ ions in sites with two different symmetries were observed, as well as Mn²⁺ ions coupled by the exchange interaction. The relative concentration of isolated to coupled Mn²⁺ ions decreases with increasing manganese concentration. The results are consistent with the assumption that the manganese ions occupy preferentially the C₂ symmetry sites. A theoretical calculation based on this model yields an effective range of the exchange interaction between Mn²⁺ ions of 0.53 nm, of the same order as that of Mn²⁺ ions in CaO.     

CsI(Tl)晶体中反冲Cs和I核Quenching?Factor的测量

许多实验对用CsI(Tl)闪烁晶体作为探测器来寻找和探测暗物质的可行性进行了研究.本工作利用8MeV单能中子轰击CsI(Tl)晶体探测器来研究Cs核和I核的QuenchingFactor.在数据处理中,运用脉冲形状甄别(PSD)方法来分辨反冲核信号和本底信号.实验结果表明,在7keV到132keV的能区中,Quench ingFactor随着反冲核能量的减少而增加.在探测暗物质的实验中,这一性质对于CsI(Tl)晶体探测器获得较低的能量阈值是很有利的.     

93W合金有关力学参量的综合选评

 对93W合金材料进行了超声测量实验，并结合原有的超声测量结果进行了分析比较，提出了可以直接用冲击波速度关系式的三个系数c₀ 、λ和λ′来对钨合金的有关力学参量，如G₀、K₀、G₀′、K₀′等进行综合选评的方法。得到了一组对93W合金较为合理的力学参量推荐值。     

Charge transport in a polypeptide chain

Charge transport is one important example of signal transduction in a protein which is responsible for action at a distance, and is a fundamental process in biochemical action. A model is presented in which electronic effects interact with motional processes to combine into a bifunctional model. This model is investigated with new detailed molecular dynamics calculations and successfully explains such action at a distance. 静磁场伴随有静电场存在

阐述检测物体是否产生了电场的方法；通过实际检测证实立方体永磁体既产生了负静电场，也产生了正静电场，并测定了具体的场强．     

Nd(Fe,Si)11Cx化合物的全电子计算(x=0,2)

采用基于第一原理的全势能线性缀加平面波加局域轨道((L)APW lo)方法对Nd(Fe,Si)11Cx化合物(x=0,2)的电子结构进行了计算,得到了化合物态密度和磁矩等信息.计算结果表明NdFe9Si2化合物中Si原子主要与4b和32i位Fe原子产生杂化,导致Fe原子磁矩减小.NdFe9Si2C2化合物C原子使32i位Fe原子磁矩进一步降低,同时减弱了Si原子的影响,使得4b位Fe原子磁矩增大.     

A novel and efficient synthesis of porphine

meso-Tetra(n-hexyloxycarbonyl)porphyrin was found to be converted into porphine, the mother compound of porphyrins, in a 77% yield when heated in aqueous sulfuric acid at 180 °C over 30 min under an inert atmosphere. The observation demonstrates that the substituted porphyrin serves as a novel and useful precursor for porphine.     

Chronoamperometric studies in an ammonia citrate electrolyte for the deposition of a nickel-molybdenum alloy

Dependences of the current and the chemical composition of cathodic deposits on the electrolysis time are studied in an ammonia-citrate electrolyte for the deposition of a nickel-molybdenum alloy in potentiostatic conditions. At potentials less negative than ?0.93 V, no nickel-molybdenum alloy deposition occurs and in the course of electrolysis there is observed a decrease in the current, which is connected with the blocking of the electrode surface by the formed molybdenum oxides. In the region of potentials of deposition of a nickel-molybdenum alloy there is realized the following shape of a time dependence of the current. Within the first few seconds of the electrolysis process, the current somewhat decreases. Then there occurs its increase, which is connected with the alloy deposition on the cathode. In the course of electrolysis there occurs a decrease in the molybdenum content in the cathodic deposit.

Inequalities for the Moments and Distribution of the Ladder Height of a Random Walk

We obtain upper bounds for the tail distribution of the first nonnegative sum of a random walk and for the moments of the overshoot over an arbitrary nonnegative level if the expectation of jumps is positive and close to zero. In addition, we find an estimate for the expectation of the first ladder epoch.
