Propagation of transient mechanical waves in porous media is numerically investigated in 1D. The framework is the linear Biot model with frequency-independent coefficients. The coexistence of a propagating fast wave and a diffusive slow wave makes numerical modeling tricky. A method combining three numerical tools is proposed: a fourth-order ADER scheme with time-splitting to deal with the time-marching, a space-time mesh refinement to account for the small-scale evolution of the slow wave, and an interface method to enforce the jump conditions at interfaces. Comparisons with analytical solutions confirm the validity of this approach.  相似文献

In this work a single interface flow system (SIFA) with potentiometric detection was for the first time implemented and applied to the determination of nitrate in waters and plant extracts. The analytical potential of the SIFA system was exploited not only to transport the sample towards detection but also to carry out, in a reproducible and automated way, the tasks associated with sample pre-treatment, namely ionic strength, pH adjustment and interfering species suppression. The advantageous aspects of combining a SIFA system with potentiometry with enhanced simplicity, ease of implementation and automation were further discussed and emphasised.The obtained results showed relative deviations lower than 5%, for both types of samples, with sampling rates of about 40 h−1.In addition, an innovative and straightforward process for constructing plastic membrane ion selective electrodes with a tubular configuration able to be coupled to flow-based analytical systems is also proposed. The developed approach, consisting of assembling the electrode inside a flow tubing connector is very simple to implement, robust, particularly adequate to be combined with flow methodologies and maintains all dynamic and analytical characteristics exhibited by previous assembling processes.  相似文献

研究了双头基两亲分子(Bolaamphiphile)N,N′-1,14-十四烷二酸酰-L-谷氨酸二乙酯(L-HDGE)和它的对映异构体D-HDGE在气液界面的组装;考察了HDGE分子的界面组装结构以及头部基团的手性,膜压和离子液体亚相对组装结构的影响.采用原子力显微镜(AFM)和傅里叶变换红外(FTIR)光谱对组装体的微观结构和组装机理进行了研究.结果表明,HDGE(L-HDGE或D-HDGE)在水亚相上可以组装得到平行排列,宽为50-120nm,高为1-5nm的纳米线.而将L-HDGE与D-HDGE混合组装时,只会得到疏松的薄膜结构.红外光谱表明HDGE分子的异手性相互作用强于同手性作用.在表面压继续上升时,纳米线可以发生一定聚集生成纳米带.亚相为一定浓度的离子液体时,会促进分子的聚集,在膜压的共同影响下,纳米带可以卷曲形成螺旋结构,螺旋的方向取决于头基的分子手性.  相似文献

The authors consider a phase field model for Darcy flows with discontinuous data in porous media; specifically,they adopt the Hele-Shaw-Cahn-Hillard equations of[Lee,Lowengrub,Goodman,Physics of Fluids,2002] to model flows in the Hele-Shaw cell through a phase field formulation which incorporates discontinuities of physical data,namely density and viscosity,across interfaces. For the spatial approximation of the problem,the authors use NURBS—based isogeometric analysis in the framework of the Galerkin method,a computational framework which is particularly advantageous for the solution of high order partial differential equations and phase field problems which exhibit sharp but smooth interfaces. In this paper,the authors verify through numerical tests the sharp interface limit of the phase field model which in fact leads to an internal discontinuity interface problem; finally,they show the efficiency of isogeometric analysis for the numerical approximation of the model by solving a benchmark problem,the so-called"rising bubble" problem.  相似文献

We study the homogenization of a slow viscous two‐phase incompressible flow in a domain consisting of a free fluid domain, a porous medium, and the interface between them. We take into account the capillary forces on the fluid‐fluid interfaces. We construct boundary layers describing the flow at the interface between the free fluid and the porous medium. We derive a macroscopic model with a viscous two‐phase fluid in the free domain, a coupled Darcy law connecting two‐phase velocities in the porous medium, and boundary conditions at the permeable interface between the free fluid domain and the porous medium.  相似文献

The crystallographic structure of thin Ni films deposited on Cu(001) has been studied using Surface Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure (SEXAFS). Taking advantage of the linear polarization of the synchrotron radiation, we have shown that Ni adopts the Cu lattice parameter parallel to the interface. This lateral expansion induces a longitudinal compression of the unit cell, leading to a face centered tetragonal structure of the Ni films from 3 to 10 monolayers. The temperature dependence of the EXAFS oscillations has allowed to measure strain inside the Ni layers. Received 22 December 1998  相似文献

Here we proposed a synthetic method of high-purity Ag nanoplates by the reduction of aqueous Ag+ ions at the aqueous-organic interface with the reductant ferrocene. We demonstrated that the as-prepared Ag nanoplates can be widely tunable from 600 nm to 7 μm in size and from 10 to 35 nm in thickness, simply by adjusting the component of organic phase. To our knowledge, there are few methods to tailor the size and the thickness of metal nanoplates in such a large range although many efforts have been made aiming to realize it. Our proposed synthetic strategy is rapid, template-free, seed-less, and high-yield, and could be applied to synthesize analogous two-dimensional nanostructures of other noble metals, such as Pt, Au, and Pd.  相似文献

Single interface flow systems (SIFA) present some noteworthy advantages when compared to other flow systems, such as a simpler configuration, a more straightforward operation and control and an undemanding optimisation routine. Moreover, the plain reaction zone establishment, which relies strictly on the mutual inter-dispersion of the adjoining solutions, could be exploited to set up multiple sequential reaction schemes providing supplementary information regarding the species under determination. In this context, strategies for accuracy assessment could be favourably implemented. To this end, the sample could be processed by two quasi-independent analytical methods and the final result would be calculated after considering the two different methods. Intrinsically more precise and accurate results would be then gathered.In order to demonstrate the feasibility of the approach, a SIFA system with spectrophotometric detection was designed for the determination of lansoprazole in pharmaceutical formulations. Two reaction interfaces with two distinct π-acceptors, chloranilic acid (CLA) and 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-p-benzoquinone (DDQ) were implemented.Linear working concentration ranges between 2.71 × 10− 4 to 8.12 × 10− 4 mol L− 1 and 2.17 × 10− 4 to 8.12 × 10− 4 mol L− 1 were obtained for DDQ and CLA methods, respectively. When compared with the results furnished by the reference procedure, the results showed relative deviations lower than 2.7%. Furthermore, the repeatability was good, with r.s.d. lower than 3.8% and 4.7% for DDQ and CLA methods, respectively. Determination rate was about 30 h− 1.  相似文献

Thin film of biopolymeric compound chitosan (CTS) has been surfaced on moderately doped n-InP substrate as an interfacial layer by means of spin coating for the electronic modification of Au/n-InP structure. Electrical characterization of Au/CTS/n-InP hybrid junction has been performed by IV and CV measurements at room temperature. An effective barrier height (BH) value of 0.678 eV and an ideality factor of n = 1.665 have been obtained for the hybrid junction. The CTS interfacial layer has been found to reduce the reverse bias leakage current of the junction by about three orders of magnitude and enhance the BH by about 0.213 eV. Furthermore, the BH value of the hybrid junction has been obtained as 0.693 eV by CV measurement. Good performance of the device could be ascribed to the passivation effect of the CTS interfacial layer between Au and n-InP. The BH values of 0.678 and 0.693 eV for the hybrid junction have been significantly higher than that of the conventional Au/n-InP junction (~0.465 eV). The results indicated that biopolymeric thin interfacial CTS layer might lead to the modification of the potential barrier for metal/n-InP junctions. Moreover, band gap of the CTS layer has been determined as 4.60 eV via UV–vis spectroscopy.  相似文献
