The study of non-axisymmetric Homann stagnation-point flow of Walter's B nanofluid along with magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) and non-linear Rosseland thermal radiation over a cylindrical disk in the existence of the time-independent free stream is considered. Moreover, the notable impacts of thermophoresis and Brownian motion are analyzed by Buongiorno's model. The momentum, energy, and concentration equations are converted into the dimensionless coupled ordinary differential equations via similarity transformations, which are later numerically solved by altering the values of the pertinent parameters. The numerical and asymptotic solutions for the large shear-to-strain rate ratio γ =a/bfor the parameters of the displacement thicknesses and the wall-shear stress are computed by perturbative expansion and analyzed. Furthermore, the technique bvp4c in MATLAB is deployed as an efficient method to analyze the calculations for the non-dimensional velocities, temperature, displacement thickness, and concentration profiles. It is observed that the two-dimensional displacement thickness parameters α andβ are reduced due to the viscoelasticity and magnetic field effects. Moreover, when the shear-to-strain rate ratio approaches infinity, α is closer to its asymptotic value, while βand the three-dimensional displacement thickness parameter δ_1 show the opposite trend.The outcomes of the viscoelasticity and the magnetic field on the skin friction are also determined. It is concluded that ■ reaches its asymptotic behavior when the shearto-strain rate ratio approaches infinity. Meanwhile, ■ shows different results.  相似文献

We consider the axial compression of a thin sheet wrapped around a rigid cylindrical substrate. In contrast to the wrinkling-to-fold transitions exhibited in similar systems, we find that the sheet always buckles into a single symmetric fold, while periodic solutions are unstable. Upon further compression, the solution breaks symmetry and stabilizes into a recumbent fold. Using linear analysis and numerics, we theoretically predict the buckling force and energy as a function of the compressive displacement. We compare our theory to experiments employing cylindrical neoprene sheets and find remarkably good agreement.  相似文献

A procedure of the method of reverberation ray matrix(MRRM) is developed to perform the buckling analysis of thin multi-span rectangular plates having internal line supports or stiffeners. A computation algorithm for the reverberation ray matrix in the MRRM is derived to determine the buckling loading. Specifically, the analytical solutions are presented for the buckling of the structure having two opposite simply-supported or clamped-supported edges with spans, while the constraint condition of two remaining edges may be in any combination of free, simply-supported, and clamped boundary conditions. Furthermore, based on the analysis of matrices relating to the unknown coefficients in the solution form for the deflection in terms of buckling modal functions, some recursive equations(REs) for the MRRM are introduced to generate a reduced reverberation ray matrix with unchanged dimension when the number of spans increases, which promotes the computation efficiency. Several numerical examples are given, and the present results are compared with the known solutions to illustrate the validity and accurateness of the MRRM for the buckling analysis.  相似文献

We implement a full nonlinear optimization method to fit continuum states with complex Gaussians. The application to a set of regular scattering Coulomb functions allows us to validate the numerical feasibility, to explore the range of convergence of the approach, and to demonstrate the relative superiority of complex over real Gaussian expansions. We then consider the photoionization of atomic hydrogen, and ionization by electron impact in the first Born approximation, for which the closed form cross sections serve as a solid benchmark. Using the proposed complex Gaussian representation of the continuum combined with a real Gaussian expansion for the initial bound state, all necessary matrix elements within a partial wave approach become analytical. The successful numerical comparison illustrates that the proposed all-Gaussian approach works efficiently for ionization processes of one-center targets.  相似文献

使用8/20 μs脉冲电流发生器对普通商用ZnO陶瓷压敏电阻片进行了最多5000次的冲击试验.测量了冲击前后试样的电气性能和介电特性,分析了冲击后小电流区的U-I特性和损耗角正切值tanδ随脉冲大电流的不断作用而发生的变化.实验发现压敏电压U1mA随冲击次数的增加经历增大—稳定—减小三个过程.认为正反偏Schottky势垒的中性费米能级的变化是影响样品小电流区的最根本原因.本文提出用试样的非线性系数α作为老化特征参数比传统的U 关键词: ZnO压敏陶瓷 非线性系数 冲击老化 压敏电压  相似文献

分析了投影栅相位法三维轮廓测量系统的非线性误差。建立了几何光学模型,从理论上推导出被测点的相对高度与像点坐标的关系,研究了系统结构参数改变引起的高度误差的变化。详细阐述了像点坐标误差和系统非线性误差对系统精度的影响,并给出了高度误差补偿方法。据此提出修正的非线性高度拟合公式,实验结果证明新拟合公式的优越性。  相似文献

光纤的模场分布是光纤最基本的特性,它包含了很多光纤的有关信息,单模光纤都工作在不可见的近红外波长范围内,且在可见光范围并非单模工作。提出了一种利用可见光测量近红外单模光纤模场直径的新方法,导出了一个考虑光纤材料色散的更精确地计算不同V值时模场直径的公式,设计了利用可见光直接拍摄模斑的系统,采用缠绕法提取基模,消除了高阶模对测量结果的影响,利用二元非线性曲面拟合,测得了光纤在近红外工作波长下的模场直径。由于无需红外光源、红外探测器以及精密的扫描装置,该方法具有成本低廉、测量速度快、调整容易等优点。  相似文献

Variational inequality problems (VIP) are an important class of mathematical problems that appear in many practical situations. So, it is important to find efficient and robust numerical solution methods. An appealing idea is to embed the VIP into a one-parametric problem which, then, can be solved numerically by a path-following method. In this article, we study two different types of embeddings and we analyse their generic properties.
