We study the sojourn times of customers in an M/M/1 queue with the processor sharing service discipline and a server that is subject to breakdowns. The lengths of the breakdowns have a general distribution, whereas the on-periods are exponentially distributed. A branching process approach leads to a decomposition of the sojourn time, in which the components are independent of each other and can be investigated separately. We derive the Laplace–Stieltjes transform of the sojourn-time distribution in steady state, and show that the expected sojourn time is not proportional to the service requirement. In the heavy-traffic limit, the sojourn time conditioned on the service requirement and scaled by the traffic load is shown to be exponentially distributed. The results can be used for the performance analysis of elastic traffic in communication networks, in particular, the ABR service class in ATM networks, and best-effort services in IP networks.  相似文献

通过赝势平面波法(CASTEP)及全电势线性缀加平面波法(FLAPW),以bcc-Fe为对象,研究第一性原理计算立方结构Fe基磁性材料弹性系数的方法,分析影响计算立方结构Fe基磁性材料弹性系数准确度的各项因素. 结果表明,在第一性原理弹性系数计算中,晶格常数是决定弹性系数计算准确度的关键因素;势函数的选择也会影响计算准确度. 使用全电势基矢的FLAPW法可以得到更为精准的弹性系数计算结果. 计算得到bcc-Fe的弹性系数C11C12C44分别为246 GPa,121 GPa,113 GPa,与实验值基本一致. 利用本方法,计算了新型Fe-Ga磁致伸缩材料的弹性系数C11C12C44分别为207 GPa,166 GPa及108 GPa. 关键词: 弹性系数 磁致伸缩材料 赝势平面波法 全电势线性缀加平面波法  相似文献

针对六角密堆金属锂16个原子超晶胞(supercell)、填隙一个氢原子的周期单元,采用基于密度泛函理论的平面波-赝势方法,研究了零温条件下压力及填隙氢掺杂对体系弹性性质的影响.结果表明氢掺杂导致体系的体模量增加.常压下掺杂体系的弹性常数C11C33C66C12高于单质体系,剪切模量C44有所下降,而C13则与单质体系持平.压力作用下C11C33C66一直大于单质体系,但C12的值低于单质体系.在2GPa—4GPa压力区间内,弹性常数C13呈反常变化,小于单质体系;在高压区掺杂体系的C44C13则高于单质体系的相应量值,压力导致掺杂体系和单质体系之间剪切模的偏离加剧.掺杂体系在压力作用下依然保持压缩模的各向同性,具有和单质体系相似的特性. 关键词: 第一性原理 压力效应 弹性常数 金属锂  相似文献

本文采用辛算法数值求解一维含时Gross-Pitaevskii(GP)方程.研究了存在陷俘势和撤掉陷俘势时两个凝聚体间的相互作用.发现当存在陷俘势时两个凝聚体间发生弹性碰撞;在零时刻撤掉陷俘势时两个凝聚体间发生干涉现象;当t=2时撤掉陷俘势两个凝聚体间发生了复杂现象.  相似文献

利用平面波赝势密度泛函方法和准谐德拜模型研究了SrS从NaCl结构到CsCl结构的相变以及弹性性质.在零温下,我们计算的相变压强为17.9 GPa,这与实验值和其他作者的计算值符合很好.研究还表明:相变压强随温度增加而非线性地增加,然而力学不稳性的压强随温度增加而线性地增加.  相似文献

A spectral element method has been recently developed for solving elastodynamic problems. The numerical solutions are obtained by using the weak formulation of the elastodynamic equation for heterogeneous media, based on the Galerkin approach applied to a partition, in small subdomains, of the original physical domain. In this work, some mathematical aspects of the method and the associated algorithm implementation are systematically investigated. Two kinds of orthogonal basis functions, constructed with Legendre and Chebyshev polynomials, and their related Gauss-Lobatto collocation points are introduced. The related integration formulas are obtained. The standard error estimations and expansion convergence are discussed. An element-by-element pre-conditioned conjugate gradient linear solver in the space domain and a staggered predictor/multi-corrector algorithm in the time integration are used for strong heterogeneous elastic media. As a consequence, neither the global matrices nor the effective force vector is assembled. When analytical formulas are used for the element quadrature, there is even no need for forming element matrix in order to further save memory without losing much in computational efficiency. The element-by-element algorithm uses an optimal tensor product scheme which makes this method much more efficient than finite-element methods from the point of view of both memory storage and computational time requirements. This work is divided into two parts. The first part mainly focuses on theoretical studies with a simple numerical result for the Che-byshev spectral element, and the second part, mainly with the Legendre spectral element, will give the algorithm implementation, numerical accuracy and efficiency analyses, and then the detailed modeling example comparisons of the proposed spectral element method with a pseudo-spectral method, which will be seen in another work by Lin, Wang and Zhang.  相似文献

The high pressure phase transition and elastic behavior of rare earth monoselenides (CeSe, EuSe and LaSe) which crystallize in a NaCl-structure have been investigated using the three body interaction potential (TBIP) approach. These interactions arise due to the electronshell deformation of the overlapping ions in crystals. The TBP model consists of a long range Coulomb, three body interactions and the short range overlap repulsive forces operative up to the second neighboring ions. The authors of this paper estimated the values of the phase transition pressure and the associated volume collapse to be closer than other calculations. Thus, the TBIP approach also promises to predict the phase transition pressure and pressure variations of elastic constants of lanthanide compounds.   相似文献

One of the outstanding new developments in the field of partitioning and transmutation (P&T) concerns accelerator-driven systems (ADS) which consist of a combination of a high-power, high-energy accelerator, a spallation target for neutron production and a sub-critical reactor core. The development of the commercial critical reactors of today motivated a large effort on nuclear data up to about 20 MeV, and presently several million data points can be found in various data libraries. At higher energies, data are scarce or even non-existent. With the development of nuclear techniques based on neutrons at higher energies, nowadays there is a need also for higher-energy nuclear data. To provide alternative to this lack of data, a wide program on neutron-induced data related to ADS for P&T is running at the 20–180 MeV neutron beam facility at ‘The Svedberg Laboratory’ (TSL), Uppsala. The programme encompasses studies of elastic scattering, inelastic neutron production, i.e., (n, xn′) reactions, light-ion production, fission and production of heavy residues. Recent results are presented and future program of development is outlined.   相似文献
