Contingent epiderivatives and set-valued optimization

In this paper we introduce the concept of the contingent epiderivative for a set-valued map which modifies a notion introduced by Aubin [2] as upper contingent derivative. It is shown that this kind of a derivative has important properties and is one possible generalization of directional derivatives in the single-valued convex case. For optimization problems with a set-valued objective function optimality conditions based on the concept of the contingent epiderivative are proved which are necessary and sufficient under suitable assumptions.

A New Derivation of the Inner Product Formula for the Macdonald Symmetric Polynomials

We give a short proof of the inner product conjecture for the symmetric Macdonald polynomials of type A_n-1. As a special case, the corresponding constant term conjecture is also proved.     

Model-Free Analysis of Mixtures by NMR Using Blind Source Separation

The concept of blind source separation is described and examples of its use in 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy are presented. The goal of this data processing method is to extract the spectra of components molecules when only mixtures are available.     

Multinuclear magnetic resonance study of some mesoionic oxatriazoles containing nitrogenous exocyclic groups

¹H,¹³C,¹⁴N and¹⁵N NMR measurements are reported for four mesoionic 1-oxa-2, 3, 4-triazoles containing exocyclic nitrogenous groups. The NMR signal assignments are discussed and compared with those previously published for some corresponding oxatriazoles. The results obtained support the proposed cyclic mesoionic structures for the compounds studied. The questions of possible charge delocalization and valence tautomerism are addressed. Compound with N^– H as a exocyclic group (Fig. 1) is found to be relatively unstable, this is attributed to proton migration in the corresponding non-cyclic form of this molecule.Published in Khimiya Geterotsikiicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 9, pp. 1260–1263, September, 1995.     

Modified Equations for Stochastic Differential Equations

We describe a backward error analysis for stochastic differential equations with respect to weak convergence. Modified equations are provided for forward and backward Euler approximations to Itô SDEs with additive noise, and extensions to other types of equation and approximation are discussed.

颗粒速度在颗粒流稀疏流-密集流转变中的作用

用实验和计算模拟的方法研究了颗粒流中的颗粒速度与颗粒流特性的关系.实验研究发现当入口流量固定时，在出口上方高速运动的颗粒会使颗粒流由稀疏流向密集流转变的临界出口尺寸变小.当颗粒流转变为密集流后，颗粒速度的作用被出口上方的颗粒堆积区所消耗，最终变得与颗粒速度无关.二维分子动力学模拟计算得到了与实验相同的结论.通过二维分子动力学模拟计算，还给出了不同颗粒速度下体系的密度和速率在空间的分布图.这些分布图显示随着颗粒到达出口上方的瞬间速度的不同，颗粒堆积区的密度和高度均会改变，并最终导致颗粒流流动状态的改变. 关键词： 颗粒流 颗粒气体 分子动力学模拟
