Exhaled aliphatic aldehydes were proposed as non-invasive biomarkers to detect increased lipid peroxidation in various diseases. As a prelude to clinical application of the multicapillary column–ion mobility spectrometry for the evaluation of aldehyde exhalation, we, therefore: (1) identified the most abundant volatile aliphatic aldehydes originating from in vitro oxidation of various polyunsaturated fatty acids; (2) evaluated emittance of aldehydes from plastic parts of the breathing circuit; (3) conducted a pilot study for in vivo quantification of exhaled aldehydes in mechanically ventilated patients. Pentanal, hexanal, heptanal, and nonanal were quantifiable in the headspace of oxidizing polyunsaturated fatty acids, with pentanal and hexanal predominating. Plastic parts of the breathing circuit emitted hexanal, octanal, nonanal, and decanal, whereby nonanal and decanal were ubiquitous and pentanal or heptanal not being detected. Only pentanal was quantifiable in breath of mechanically ventilated surgical patients with a mean exhaled concentration of 13 ± 5 ppb. An explorative analysis suggested that pentanal exhalation is associated with mechanical power—a measure for the invasiveness of mechanical ventilation. In conclusion, exhaled pentanal is a promising non-invasive biomarker for lipid peroxidation inducing pathologies, and should be evaluated in future clinical studies, particularly for detection of lung injury.  相似文献

采用色谱-质谱联用技术结合化学计量学方法对不同光照生长条件的鱼腥草挥发性成分进行分析。水蒸气蒸馏法提取鱼腥草挥发油,气相色谱-质谱进行分析。色谱指纹图谱结合主成分分析与相似度评价以探究不同光照挥发油成分的异同。直观推导式演进特征投影法(Heuristic evolving latent projections,HELP)分辨重叠色谱峰,NIST标准质谱库结合相关文献进行定性,峰面积归一化法定量,t-检验比较不同光照组成分含量间是否有显著性差异。3种光照下的鱼腥草挥发油指纹图谱存在一定的共性和差异,共鉴定出33种化合物,共有化合物26种。随着光照强度的减少,单萜类化合物含量减少,非萜类含量增多,倍半萜类变化不大。癸酰乙醛和甲基正壬酮在全光照组的含量明显低于遮光组的含量。研究结果表明,适度的遮光有利于鱼腥草挥发性有效成分含量的提高,鱼腥草药材挥发性成分种类及含量与生长条件密切相关。  相似文献

The volatile components of essential oil (EO), SPME, and SPME of solvent extracts ( n -hexane, methanol, and water) obtained from fresh Serapias orientalis subsp. orientalis ( Soo ) were analyzed by GC-FID/MS. EO of Soo gave 11 compounds in the percentage of 99.97%; capronaldehyde (37.01%), 2-( E )-hexenal (23.19%), and n -nonanal (19.05%) were found to be major constituents. SPME GC-FID/MS analyses of fresh plant and solvent extracts of Soo revealed 7, 12, 7, and 4 compounds within the range of 99.7% to 99.9%. Limonene (76.5%, 41.7%, and 61.3%) was the major compound in SPMEs of the n -hexane and methanol extracts. α -Methoxy- p -cresol (52.9%) was the main component in its water extract. The antimicrobial activity of EO and the solvent extracts of Soo were screened against 9microorganisms. EO showed the best activity against Mycobacterium smegmatis , with 79.5 µg/mL MIC value. The n -hexane, methanol, and water extracts were the most active against the Staphylococcus aureus within the range of 81.25–125.0 µg/mL (MIC). IC 50 values for the lipase enzyme inhibitory activity of EO and solvent extracts ( n -hexane, methanol, and water) were determined to be 59.87 µg/mL, 64.03 µg/mL, 101.91 µg/mL, and 121.24 µg/mL, respectively.  相似文献

Abstract

Two new lignans mubezhisol (1) and mubezhisal (2), together with twenty six known compounds (328) were isolated from water-soluble fraction from the semens of Momordica cochinchinensis. In the subsequent action evaluation, four saponins (4, 6, 13, 27), six lignans (1, 2, 16, 17, 22, 23), and one naphthoquinone (24) exhibited the significant cytotoxicity. The results indicated that various saponins and lignans were mainly responsible for the antitumor activities of Momordicae Semen.  相似文献

采用固相微萃取和同时蒸馏萃取技术分离芥末膏制品的挥发性成分,用GC/MS分析鉴定,对总离子流色谱的峰面积进行归一化定量。共鉴定了22种化学成分,占总峰面积的99%以上,其中含硫化合物8种,含氮化物3种,含氧化合物11种。最主要的成分是异硫氰酸烯丙酯,其次是丙二醇,其他主要成分还有对羟基二叔丁基甲苯、油酸、9-十六烯酸、棕榈酸、5-甲基甲氢噻吩-2酮、二烯丙基二硫化物,异硫氰酸苯乙酯等。比较了各种萃取技术对分析结果的影响,同时蒸馏萃取法不能分离出水溶性成分如丙二醇等,在固相微萃取方法中,聚二甲基硅氧烷纤维头对极性较强的成分的取样效果不理想,聚乙二醇-二乙烯苯纤维头顶空取样的萃取效果最好。  相似文献

Here, the synthesis, characterization, and volatile organic compound (VOCs) sensing of a 1,3-dimethyl polyphenylene vinylene polymer is reported. The synthesis was performed by a Witting condensation through the reaction of 1,4-terphthaldehyde with the phosphonium chloride of meta-xylene. The material was characterized by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and thermogravimetric analyses. Thin films of the polymer were prepared by spin coating at speeds from 1000 to 5000?rpm. Ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy and surface plasmon resonance were used to characterize the spin-coated films. The thicknesses of the films were estimated by fitting the curves and were between 4.5 and 24.5?nm depending on the speed. The refractive index of the new polymer was 1.72. The polymer spin-coated films were exposed to volatile organic vapors to characterize their sensing properties by surface plasmon resonance as a function of time. The results showed that the new material responded rapidly, sensitively, and reversibly to VOCs.  相似文献
