The thermal and mechanical properties of collagen/chitosan blends before and after UV irradiation have been investigated using thermal analysis and mechanical (Instron) techniques. Comparisons were made with the thermal and mechanical properties of both collagen and chitosan films. Air-dried collagen, chitosan and collagen/chitosan films were exposed to UV irradiation (wavelength 254 nm) for different time intervals. Thermal properties of collagen/chitosan blends depend on the composition of the blend and are not significantly altered by UV irradiation.Mechanical properties such as ultimate tensile strength and ultimate percentage of elongation were much better for collagen films than for collagen/chitosan films. The results have shown that the mechanical properties of the blends were greatly affected by the duration of UV irradiation. Ultimate tensile strength and ultimate percentage elongation decreased after UV irradiation of the blend. Increasing UV irradiation leads to an increase in Young's modulus of the collagen/chitosan blend.  相似文献

Titanium-incorporated ZSM-5 zeolites (Si/Al = 50–200 and Si/Ti = 70) were successfully synthesized in a one-step sol-gel process under microwave irradiation. The characteristics of Ti-ZSM-5 zeolites were investigated using X-ray power diffraction, UV/Vis-DRS, FT-IR spectroscopy and solid-state 27Al-NMR to monitor the physico-chemical properties. Simultaneously, the acidic properties were characterized by the NH3-TPD profile. The characterization results revealed that the Ti4+ and Al3+ ions were well incorporated into the framework of Ti-ZSM-5 zeolite. The prepared zeolite was moderately active but selective in the dehydration of methanol to dimethyl ether.  相似文献

When food containing fat is treated by ionizing radiation, a group of 2-alkylcyclobutanones is formed. These components contain the same number of carbon atoms as their precursor fatty acids and the alkyl group is located in ring position 2. Thus, from palmitic acid 2-dodecylcyclobutanone is derived. To date, there is no evidence that the cyclobutanones occur in unirradiated food. Therefore, these components cannot be considered inherent to food, and for questions pertaining to risk assessment of irradiated food it would be advisable to determine the genotoxic and toxic potentials of cyclobutanones. Measurements of DNA damage in cells exposed to 2-dodecylcyclobutanone, employing the single cell microgel electrophoresis technique, have been carried out. In vitro experiments using rat and human colon cells indicate that 2-docylcyclobutanone in the concentration range of about 0.30 – 1.25 mg/ml induces DNA strand breaks in the cells. Simultaneously, a concentration related cytotoxic effect is observed as was determined by trypan blue exclusion. To which extent these in vitro findings are of relevancy for the in vivo human exposure situation needs to be investigated in further studies. In vivo tests in rats are in progress.  相似文献

The multi-component condensation of organozirconocene, aldimine and zinc carbenoid was applied to the stereoselective synthesis of cyclopropane amino acid derivatives. These compounds served as scaffolds for the preparation of a 46-member library. The C- and N-termini of the cyclopropane amino acid derivatives were diversified by condensations with ten amines and ten acylating agents, respectively. To improve yields and accelerate library synthesis, most products were prepared under microwave irradiation and purified by polymer-bound scavengers and SPE methodology. All compounds were analyzed by LC-MS and a representative selection was fully characterized.  相似文献

A polymeric photobase generator containing oxime–urethane groups was prepared by copolymerization of methyl methacrylate and methacryloxyethyl benzophenoneoxime urethane, and its photo and thermal crosslinking reaction after irradiation was examined from the measurement of UV and IR absorption spectral changes, insoluble fraction, and molecular weight changes. The photo‐crosslinking reaction of the copolymer film was more efficient when irradiations were carried out with 310 nm UV light in the presence of benzophenone than with 254 nm UV light without the addition of benzophenone. The crosslinking reaction increased after postexposure baking (PEB), and this thermal crosslinking reaction mechanism was studied from the identification of the photolysis products of a model compound, benzophenoneoxime phenylurethane, by a high‐performance liquid chromatography. The results indicate that the thermal crosslinking reaction of the copolymer after PEB is due to the formation of urea‐type chemical bonds. Resist properties of the copolymer were examined from the measurement of normalized thickness and micropattern development. A negative tone image with a resolution of 2 μm was obtained with this copolymer, having a sensitivity (D) of 1200 mJ/cm2 and contrast (γn) of 1.31, when irradiation was carried out with 310 nm UV light in the presence of benzophenone following chloroform development. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The catalytic activity of benzothiazole-based Pd(II)-complexes was evaluated in Suzuki-Miyaura and Heck-Mizoroki C-C cross-coupling reactions of aryl chlorides and bromides with olefins and arylboronic acids both under thermal as well as microwave irradiation conditions in water.
