Synthesis of Oxathiacrown Compounds by the Reactions of Sulfur Dichloride with Unsaturated Compounds and Their Extraction Characteristics. (Review)

Published data of the last 10-15 years on the use of the reactions of sulfur dichloride with various unsaturated compounds for the synthesis of oxathia- and thiacrown compounds and study of their extraction characteristics toward various transition and heavy metals are reviewed. Some previously unpublished results and associated experimental data are also included.     

Phase Diagram of the System NaF-KF-AlF3

The phase diagrams of the binary system KF-AlF₃ as well as the ternary system NaF-KF-AlF₃ in the range up to 50 mol% AlF₃, were measured using the thermal analysis method. In the system KF-AlF₃ the coordinates of the eutectic points are: E ₁: 8.0 mol% AlF₃, 821.2°C, and E ₂: 45.5 mol% AlF₃, 565.0°C. In the investigated concentration range of the ternary system 2 eutectic points have been found with the calculated coordinates: E ₁: 36.3 mol% NaF, 62.7 mol% KF, 1.0 mol% AlF₃; t=711.2°C; and E ₂: 51.9 mol% NaF, 27.4 mol% KF, 20.7 mol% AlF₃; t=734.5°C. Other eutectic points lie most probably beyond the investigated part of the system. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

溶剂浮选-气相色谱法测定铝酸钠溶液中的硬脂酸钠

用溶剂浮选-气相色谱法测定铝酸钠溶液中的硬脂酸钠。选择环己酮为浮选溶剂,样品经1∶1(V/V)的盐酸酸化后,以40 mL/m in的速度通入氮气并以环己酮为浮选溶剂浮选30 m in进行富集,用CH3OH/BF3在80℃水浴中加热3 m in进行甲酯化,以毛细管色谱柱PEG-20M(30 m×0.32 mm,i.d.)分离,邻苯二甲酸二乙酯为内标,氢火焰离子化检测器检测。方法在硬脂酸与内标的质量比在0.1~10范围内呈良好的线性关系(r=0.9997);硬脂酸钠的相对标准偏差为1.35%(n=7);回收率为96.9%~98.1%。     

Effect of lithium oxide dopants on electrophysical and sorption properties of zinc oxide

The effects of lithium oxide dopants (0.5–0.8 at. % Li) on the electrophysical and sorption properties of ZnO were studied in the temperature range from 150 °C to 410 °C. The introduction of lithium increases the activation energy of the conductivity of ZnO, decreases its conductivity, and increases the amount of S0₂ sorbed. Molecular structure of mixed adsorption layers surfactant—polymer at a liquid—liquid interface

Isotherms of the binding of dodecyl sulfate anions (DDS^–)and Na⁺ counterions during their coadsorption with a nonionic polymer. proxanol (PR). at the interface of dodecane-water emulsions have been measured by conductometry and Na-selective potentiometry. The adsorption of DDS^– and PR is concurrent. The affinity constant of PR to the interface determined by the Langmuir model decreases as the concentration of PR increases, and the surface concentration of DDS^– tends to a nonzero limiting value at high concentrations of PR. The surface (_o) and electrokinetic () potentials at the interface have been determined at various polymer concentrations by the spin probe and electrophoresis methods. The average dielectric permeability and density of polymer segments in We adsorption layer have been determined by ESR. The lower boundary of the hydrodynamic thickness of the polymer adsorption layer at the interface has been estimated from the dependences of _o and on the ionic strength.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Structure of Sol-Gel-Derived Sodium Dititanate Glass

The sodium dititanate, Na₂O·2TiO₂ glass was prepared by the sol-gel method. The structure of the glass, especially local environment of Ti⁴⁺ ions was examined using X-ray diffraction and X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) analyses, and was compared with that of the melt-derived glass with the same composition. It was found that Ti⁴⁺ ions are rather in five-fold coordination state, forming TiO₅ pyramids with one doubly bonded Ti=O in the gel-glass, while they were in lower coordination state or four-fold coordination in the melt-derived glass.     

催化裂化汽油脱硫添加剂USY/ZnO/Al2O3的性能评价

 在固定流化床催化裂化装置上，以减压蜡油为原料，对制备的U\r\nSY／ZnO／Al2O3催化裂化汽油脱硫添加剂的性能进行了评价．结果表明\r\n，随着添加剂添加量和剂油比的增加，生成汽油的硫含量降低．在500\r\n℃和剂油比为5的条件下，在FCC平衡催化剂中添加30％的添加剂时，汽\r\n油的硫含量可由不加添加剂时的1230μg／g降低到770μg／g左右．添\r\n加剂的添加量（10％）较低时，对催化裂化产物的分布基本没有影响；\r\n添加30％的添加剂时，焦炭的产率有所增加，但汽油收率基本不变．X\r\nRD表征结果表明，USY／ZnO／Al2O3添加剂中的ZnO对USY的晶相结构有\r\n一定的破坏作用，但随着反应与再生次数的增多，ZnO与Al2O3之间形成\r\n较为稳定的锌铝尖晶石结构，使添加剂的性能趋于稳定．     

THE EFFECTS OF PERFUSION OF LATERAL VENTRICLE WITH CaCl_2 ON THE FEBRILE RESPONSE AND cAMP CONTENT IN PLASMA AND CEREBROSPINAL FLUID DURING LP-INDUCED FEVER

Artificial cerebrospinal fluid (c.s.f.) containing 40 mmol/L excess calcium was perfus-ed through the lateral ventricles of New Zealand white rabbits in order to reduce the Na~+/Ca~(++) ratio in the brain and the effects on both the febrile response and adenosine cyclic mo-nophosphate (cAMP) concentration in plasma and c.s.f, during leucocytic pyrogen (LP)-induced fever were observed. The results showed that cAMP concentration in c.s.f, increas-ed significantly during LP-induced fever while the cAMP level in Plasma remained unchang-ed, and the perfusion of artificial c.s,f, containing 40 mmol/L excess calcium can signif-icantly inhibit not only the febrile response but also the increase in c.s.f, cAMP level,while there appears no effect on plasma cAMP concentration, thus demonstrating that theincrease of Na~+/Ca~(++) ratio causing the increase of cAMP content in the brain may be anessential link in the pathogenesis of LP-induced fever.
