The reaction of either Li2PPh or Li2AsPh with the diborane(4) derivative B2(NMe2)2Br2 affords the compounds [PhP(BNMe2)2]2 ( 1 ) or [PhAs(BNMe2)2]2 ( 2 ) in good yield. Both 1 and 2 have cyclic structures featuring non-planar P2B4 or As2B4 six-membered rings which have chair configurations. Although all four borons in each ring have planar coordination, the two phosphorus or arsenic centers have different degrees of pyramidalization. Bond distances within the rings indicate that the B? B, B? P or B? As bonds are single, whereas the exo-B? N bond lengths are consistent with significant π-bonding. The ring structures of 1 and 2 are in sharp contrast to the related boron-nitrogen species (t-BuN)2N4Me4 which has a nido-N2B4 framework. The attempted synthesis of the nitrogen analogue of 1 or 2 by using a similar approach did not result in the isolation of [PhN(BNMe2)2]2, instead the tetramino diborane(4) species [B(NMe2)NHPh]2 ( 3 ), which has a structure similar to other tetramine diborane(4) compounds, was isolated. 相似文献

Increased utilization of mechanically stable synthetic matrices particularly silica gel as a solid support and its surface modification either by impregnation of organic ligands directly or covalent grafting through spacer unit for extractive concentration of trace elements are highlighted in the present article. Experimental evidences for existence of surface silanol and its chemical nature have explored the idea of silica surface modification. Recent methods of development in functionalized silica synthesis by attachment of various ligands or organic reagents to the silica surface and techniques of characterization of the modified surface have been reported. A rapid peptide-bond hydrolysis by means of microwave irradiation is introduced for the facile preparation of protein hydrolysates used for amino acid analysis. The optimal hydrolysis condition has been determined using several enzymes with known amino acid compositions. The effects of hydrolysis time on the recovery of various labile and hydrophobic amino acids are also exemplified in the microwave heating of standard amino acids. The method has been applied to the complete amino acid analysis with a single nonvolatile solvent of methanesulfonic acid with good recovery of tryptophan and half-cystine. It provides a radical expedition of protein and peptide hydrolysis via commercial microwave ovens and specially-designed Teflon-Pyrex tubes, circumventing the tedious procedures using vacuum-sealed pyrex lubes heating at 110°C for more than 24 h. This novel type of microwave chemistry associated with rapid peptide-bond cleavage is of great potential in the automation of the complete process of amino acid analysis starting from the preparation of protein hydrolysates. 相似文献

A study has been undertaken of stress relaxation in ovalbumin thermotropic gels with a concentration of 8–20%, depending on time and temperature of heating (respectively, 20–60 min, 70°–110°C), at pH 2.5–10.0. In all instances, the dependence of the initial gel elasticity modulus on heating has a single maximum. Gelation conditions corresponding to this maximum are considered optimal. Optimal gelation time is 30 min, regardless of pH. On the other hand, the optimal heating temperature depends on pH. To compare concentration profiles in solids in an objective manner, a multi-dimensional generalization of the comparison of two means by Student'st-test is proposed. The approach is based on piecewise modelling the profiles using rougha priori information, estimating the model parameters and their covariance matrix and comparing the estimated parameters by use of multidimensional test variables. The piecewise modelling is treated in the most important cases in such a way that the partial functions are straight lines or cubic polynoms (splines) with continuity at all knots in each case. It enables us to compare whole profiles as well as the most relevant parts of them. Two ways of estimating the covariance matrix as a generalization of the variance estimation are discussed. The approach is useful for any kind of line profiles if rough information on the profile type is available. As an example SIMS depth-profiles of aluminum obtained from thin-layer systems after different technological heat treatments are considered. These profiles are modeled by three straight lines. 相似文献
