利用有效液滴模型对超重元素α衰变半衰期的研究

利用有效液滴模型计算了偶偶超重核的α衰变半衰期,计算过程中采用了保持碎片体积守恒的不对称形状描述以及有效惯性系数计算Gamow势垒穿透因子.首先在质子数Z为88—98的区域检验了有效液滴模型,发现计算结果与实验符合得比较好.随后将此模型推广到Z≥100的情况,虽然只用了两个模型参数,计算结果与实验数据符合,说明有效液滴模型是计算偶偶超重核素α衰变半衰期的一个成功模型.     

Tunable properties of light propagation in photonic liquid crystal fibers

Tunable properties of light propagation in photonic crystal fibers filled with liquid crystals, called photonic liquid crystal fibers (PLCFs) are presented. The propagation properties of PLCFs strongly depend on contrast between refractive indices of the solid core (pure silica glass) and liquid crystals (LCs) filing the holes of the fiber. Due to relatively strong thermo-optical effect, we can change the refractive index of the LC by changing its temperature. Numerical analysis of light propagation in PLCF, based on two simulation methods, such as finite difference (FD) and multipole method (MM) is presented. The numerical results obtained are in good agreement with our earlier experimental results presented elsewhere [1].     

New HPLC-chiral stationary phases for enantiomeric resolution of sulfoxides and selenoxides

Summary Enantiomers of several sulfoxides and some selenoxides can be easily separated by using a new chiral stationary phase (CSP-DACH-DNB) containing the 3,5-dinitrobenzoyl derivative of R,R-(-)1,2-diamino-cyclohexane as selector, covalently bonded to the siliceous matrix. The easy operative conditions and the high enantioselectivity values (α) allow a direct transfer of the analytical separations to a semi-preparative and preparative scale.     

Curved Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal Matrix Displays Driven by Field-Sequential-Color and Active-Matrix Techniques

This paper describes a curved field-sequential-color matrix display using fast-response ferroelectric liquid crystal. Black matrix and transparent electrode patterns were formed on a thin plastic substrate by a transfer method from a glass substrate. While a composite film of liquid crystal and micro-polymers of walls and fibers was formed between the flexible substrates by printing, laminating and curing processes of a solution of monomers and liquid crystal, the mechanical stability was enhanced by use of multi-functional monomers to form large display panels. The image pixels of the matrix panel were driven by an active matrix scheme using an external switch transistor array at a frequency of 180 Hz for intermittent three-primary-color backlight illumination. The flexible A4-paper-sized color display with 24 × 16 pixels and 60 Hz field frequency was demonstrated by illuminating it with sequential three-primary-color lights from light-emitting diodes of the backlight. Our display system is useful in various information displays because of its freedom of setting and location.     

改善液晶光阀投影光学系统偏振特性的理论设计方法

定量分析了液晶光阀投影光学系统中影响系统对比度的主要因素，利用矢量方法建立三维空间数学模型对光线进行追迹，并利用琼斯矩阵和矢量光学的原理分析了偏振器件--主要是波片--和各种光学薄膜对光学系统性能的影响。给出了在一定假设条件下的对没有波片的光学系统和插入波征后的光学系统的仿真计算结果。两组数据比较表明在光路中插入合适相位差的波片可以显著提高系统对比度等性能。     

Fabrication and transport properties of multiwall carbon nanotube crossroads

A multiwall carbon nanotube crossroads has been fabricated by a manipulation technique using a glass microcapillary, and the low temperature transport properties investigated. The two-terminal conductance of an individual tube shows Tomonaga–Luttinger liquid behavior G∝T^α at high temperature and dI/dV ∝V ^α at low temperature. However, no evidence of such a power-law behavior is obtained in the four-terminal conductance at the junction, where the conductance shows an almost metallic behavior ‘corrected’ by weak localization. Weak localization would essentially appear in electron states at the junctions of MWNTs.     

液晶显示器用导电粉的扫描电镜图像

液晶显示器用导电粉的形状、尺寸及偏差对于液晶显示屏的质量控制来说是非常重要的。论述了液晶显示器(LCD)用导电粉的作用和性能要求。给出了液晶显示器用导电粉的扫描电镜图像。该图像对观测导电粉的粒径分布、导电粉在导电点中的浓度和分析导电点缺陷、提高液晶显示器的产品质量具有一定的意义。     

Theoretical analysis of the onset of liquid entrainment for slots of finite width

The onset of liquid entrainment during discharge from large reservoirs containing a stratified mixture of two immiscible fluids through a side slot of a finite width is considered theoretically. A previously reported analysis in which the slot was approximated as a two-dimensional line sink has been extended to account for the finite width of the slot. The model resulting from the present analysis is expressed in terms of two simple algebraic equations suitable for hand calculations. According to the present results, the ratio of the critical height to the slot width is dependent only on the Froude number. Numerical results show that the present model approaches the correct physical limits at low Froude numbers and it converges to the predictions of the previously reported simple model at high Froude numbers.     

炉液倾动重心近似计算的数学分析

为给转炉设计提供依据,需要计算炉液倾动的重心.利用数学方法将实际问题进行简化,通过分析炉液倾动过程中变量间的相互关系,来确定每个倾动角度对应情况下的液面位置.利用数学中三重积分的有关应用,进一步得出转炉在每个倾动角度为α∈(0,π2)时的重心计算方法及相关结论,在理论上为工程计算重心的方法提供参考.     

Characterization of reduced iso‐α‐acids derived from hops (Humulus lupulus) by NMR

Reduced forms of iso‐α‐acids (isohumulones), used in modern beer brewing were separated and characterized by ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy. Components from mixtures of rho‐iso‐α‐acids, tetrahydro‐iso‐α‐acids, and hexahydro‐iso‐α‐acids were isolated using high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and analyzed by use of one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR experiments. The data presented assign the identities of the main peaks in the HPLC traces for the reduced iso‐α‐acids. Previous tentative assignments regarding the cis and trans configurations and the structures of the acyl residues of the reduced iso‐α‐acids were confirmed and extensive NMR assignments were made. Furthermore, the previously unknown stereochemistry in the C‐4 side‐chain of the rho‐ and hexahydro‐iso‐α‐acids was assigned. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
