The graphite‐like yttrium hydride halides, YIHn (0.8 ? n ? 1.0), have been prepared in quantitative yields by heating either YI3, YH2 (1:2) or stoichiometric YI3, YH2, Y mixtures in sealed Ta ampoules at 900°C. A lower limit of the homogeneity range, n ≈ 2/3, has been determined from dehydrogenation experiments. All YIHn phases adopt the ZrBr‐type heavy‐atom structure. The hydrogen variation is accompanied by a change in the c lattice constant from 31.162(3) to 31.033(1) Å for n = 0.61(3) to 1.02(3). The YIHn phases reversibly react with hydrogen at 400‐600°C to form the light green transparent compound YIH2. However, increasing the reaction temperature above 700°C causes decomposition to an unidentified phase being in equilibrium with YH2 and YI3. The arrangement of the heavy atoms in YIH2 (P m1; a = 3.8579(3) Å, c = 10.997(1) Å) corresponds to a four‐layer I‐Y‐Y‐I slab with the stacking sequence (AbaB) as was found by x‐ray powder diffraction data refinement with the Rietveld method. A miscibility gap exists between YIH and YIH2. Samples YIHn (n ? 1.0) show metallic conductivity at room temperature, which changes into semiconducting behavior with decreasing temperature as n approaches its lower value ≈ 2/3. 相似文献

Coordination of pyridine (Py), N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylurea (TMU), and N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMA) to [Ni(Me4[12]aneN4)]2+ was observed, although these donor solvent molecules did not coordinate to R,S,R,S-[Ni(Me4[14]aneN4)]2+. NiS values for Py, TMU, and DMA are 7.9, 2.8, and 9.0 dm3⋅mol−1, respectively. Some hydrogen-bonding waters were coordinated to R,S,R,S-[Ni(Me4[14]aneN4)]2+, but such waters did not coordinate to [Ni(Me4[12] aneN4)]2+. Also, the K

The carbodiphosphorane CO2 adduct O2CC(PPh3)2 ( 1a ) reacts with [(CO)5W(THF)] and [(CO)3W(NCEt)3] to produce the complexes [(CO)5W{η1‐O2CC(PPh3)2}] ( 2 ) and [(CO)4W{η2‐O2CC(PPh3)2}] ( 3 ), respectively. Whereas in 2 the betain‐like ligand is coordinated at the tungsten atom in a monodentate manner, in 3 it acts as a chelating ligand with formation of a WO2C four‐membered ring. As a by‐product during the reaction with the acetonitrile adduct also some crystals of the hydrolysis product [HC(PPh3)2]2[W6O19] · 3C2H4Cl2 (4 · 3C2H4Cl2) were isolated. A novel method was developed for the direct determination of trace quantities of rare earth elements (REEs) in high purity erbium oxide dissolved in nitric acid by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) in this work. The mass spectra overlap interferences arose from Er matrix on the neighbouring and monoisotopic analytes of 165Ho(100) and 169Tm(100) were eliminated by adjusting instrumental peak resolution value from 0.7 to 0.3 amu. The matrix suppression effect of Er on the ion peak signals of REEs impurities was effectively compensated with spiking In as internal standard element. The limit of quantitation (LOQ) of REEs impurities was from 0.0090 to 0.025 μg g−1, the recoveries of spiked sample for REEs were found to be in the range of 90.3-107% through using the proposed method and relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) varied between 2.5% and 6.7%. The novel methodology had been found to be suitable for the direct determination of trace REEs impurities in 99.999-99.9999% high purity Er2O3 and the results obtained from this method keep in good agreement with that acquired from high resolution ICP-MS. 相似文献

The paper presents a new method for the generation of acetaldehyde in the amounts that allow to calibrate the measuring system. The method is based on thermal decomposition of surface compounds at the range 130-190 °C, in which an acetaldehyde as the decomposition product is released. The synthetic pathway leading to the desired surface compounds is described. Investigations demonstrated that the synthesis of the compounds on the surface of the support material (silica gel) was carried out homogeneously. The technique proposed was used for the generation of gaseous standard mixtures containing acetaldehyde for the calibration of a thermal desorber-gas chromatograph-flame ionization detector system. 相似文献

We have evaluated an analytical method for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and sulfur compounds in air by means of adsorption/temperature-programmed thermal desorption (ATPTD) with small bed volume (0.08g) Tenax-TA cartridges, followed by a cryogenic trap in a precolumn with liquid nitrogen as an appropriate concentration method before capillary gas chromatography is described. The enriched components from the adsorption cartridges are transferred to the capillary column with a valveless switching system. Recoveries were determined for the complete ATPTD method. Desorption recoveries near 100% were found for various of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and sulfur compounds. The sulfur compounds known to cause nuisance odors in the atmosphere near sulfur recovery and sewerage treatment works were also determined. 相似文献

The apparent standard potential of Dy/Dy(III) system in the LiCl-KCl eutectic has been determined by the logarithmic analysis of the semi-integrals of voltammograms, logarithmic analysis of chronopotentiograms and the open circuit potentiometry.
