Thermodynamic quantities for the acid dissociation of alkylammonium ions in water over a wide temperature range

Enthalpies of protonation in aqueous solution have been determined from calorimetric measurements between 0 and 100°C for methylpentylamine, butyldimethylamine, and quinuclidine; between 0 and 125°C for di-iso-propylamine; and between 0 and 75°C for 1-azacycloheptane. Values ofpK_a at 25°C have been determined from pH measurements using a glass electrode for di-iso-propyl-, methylpentyl-, and butyldimethylamine. The calorimetric results are used together with values ofpK_a at 25°C to derive expressions which allow the calculation of accuratepK_a values over a large temperature range. The heat capacity and entropy changes for the protonation of aqueous alkylamines found in the present and in previous studies are discussed in terms of differences in hydrophobic solvation of the alkyl groups in the neutral amines and the ions.     

氮杂冠醚研究Ⅶ、双仲胺型氮杂冠醚对过渡金属离子的选择性萃取作用

合成了五种新型双仲胺型氦杂冠醚，研究了它们对过渡金属离子进行液—液萃取，并用原子吸收法测定其浓度。实验结果表明：这类冠醚对Ａｇ￣＋、Ｐｄ￣（２＋）、和Ｐｔ￣（４＋）等贵金属离子有较强的选择配位性能，对选择性分离这些金属离子有重要的意义。     

2-(4-氯苯基)-3-甲基丁酸的消旋

以酸酐及有机惰性溶剂作混合溶剂，少量叔胺等作催化剂，2-(4-氯苯基)-3-甲基丁酸能在比较温和的条件下基本完全消旋，收率接近90％。

聚苯乙烯二乙醇胺树脂催化合成丙酸苄酯的研究

应用聚苯乙烯二乙醇胺树脂（PSDEA）催化苄氯与丙酸的酯化反应，合成了丙 酸苄酯。研究结果表明，聚苯乙烯二乙醇胺树脂具有较高的催化活性。考察了丙酸 ／苄氯摩尔比、催化剂用量和反应时间对酯产率的影响，在典型反应条件（丙酸： 苄氯摩尔比＝1．25：1，16．7gPSDEA／摩尔苄氯，80℃浴温，反应4．0h）下，所 得丙酸苄酯的产率为95．5％，该催化剂易于回收且可重复使用、具有良好的活性 稳定性。     

The use of bis(diphenylphosphino)amines with N-aryl functionalities in selective ethylene tri- and tetramerisation

A systematic study was conducted on the Cr catalysed tri- and tetramerisation of ethylene using bis(diphenylphosphino)amine ligands with N-aryl functionality. This study revealed that the oligomerisation reaction product selectivity is primarily dependent on the structure and size of the N-aryl groups.

Addition of sufficient steric bulk to the N-phenyl group via ortho-alkyl substitution increased the combined 1-hexene and 1-octene selectivity (overall alpha selectivity) to above 82% at an overall 1-octene selectivity of 56%. The introduction of a single carbon spacer between the N-atom and the aryl-moiety, as well as the addition of branching on this carbon, resulted in further selectivity improvements, achieving an overall 1-octene selectivity of 64% and an overall alpha selectivity of 84%. This was obtained at catalyst productivities in excess of 1,000,000 g/g Cr/h.

Effect of 1,10-phenanthroline on the extraction and separation of lithium(I), sodium(I) and potassium(I) with thenoyltrifluoroacetone

The extraction of Li⁺ with thenoyltrifluoroacetone (Htta) in the presence of 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) has been studied in various organic solvents. The remarkable enhancement of the extraction of Li⁺, that is a synergistic effect, was observed by the addition of phen, and the high extractability of Li⁺ was attained in toluene, benzene, chlorobenzene and o-dichlorobenzene. The extraction equilibrium of Li⁺, Na⁺ and K⁺ (denoted as M⁺) in the presence or absence of phen in chlorobenzene and the adduct formation reaction in the organic phase were studied in detail. The adduct of Li⁺ was Li(tta)(phen) in the wide concentration range of phen in the organic phase, while in Na⁺ and K⁺ M(tta)(phen)₂ also exists in the high concentration region. The maximum value of the separation factor between Li⁺ and Na⁺ was observed in the present system and was larger than that in the Htta-trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO)-benzene system reported previously.
