Evidence for shape coexistence at medium spin in Rb

Four previously known rotational bands in ⁷⁶Rb have been extended to moderate spins using the Gammasphere and Microball γ ray and charged particle detector arrays and the ⁴⁰Ca(⁴⁰Ca, 3pn) reaction at a beam energy of 165 MeV. The properties of two of the negative-parity bands can only readily be interpreted in terms of the highly successful Cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky model calculations if they have the same configuration in terms of the number of g9/2 particles, but they result from different nuclear shapes (one near-oblate and the other near-prolate). These data appear to constitute a unique example of shape coexisting structures at medium spins.     

Cross sections for (d–t) neutron interaction with germanium isotopes

The cross sections for (n,x)$(n,x)$ reactions with Ge isotopes were measured at (d–t) neutron energies around 14 MeV with the activation technique using metal discs of natural composition. Calculations of detector efficiency, incident neutron spectrum and correction factors were performed with the Monte Carlo technique (MCNP4C code). Cross sections data are presented for ⁷⁰Ge(n,2n$n,2n$)⁶⁹Ge, ⁷⁴Ge(n,α$n,\alpha$)^71mZn, ⁷⁶Ge(n,2n$n,2n$)^75(m + g)Ge, ⁷⁰Ge(n,p$n,p$)⁷⁰Ga and ⁷²Ge(n,2n$n,2n$)^71gGe reactions. The cross section results for ⁷²Ge(n,2n$n,2n$)^71gGe reaction were reported for the first time. Some other cross sections were obtained with higher precision, including the ⁷⁰Ge(n,p$n,p$)⁷⁰Ga reaction. Theoretical calculations of excitation functions were performed with the TALYS-1.0 code and compared with the experimental cross section values. Data were included in the EXFOR database.     

Subsurface layers with degenerate hole gas arising in germanium immersed into liquid helium under 60Co-gamma irradiation

Abstract

The subsurface layers with quasi-metal hole conductivity have been observed in n- and p-Ge immersed into liquid He under the ⁶⁰Co-gamma-irradiation. three conditions are to be fulfilled simultaneously for the production of the layers: low temperature, direct contact between helium and germanium and gammairradiation.

He光双电离末态波函数动量相关效应

在入射光子能量为79.6 eV～139 eV范围内,利用DS3C模型计算了不同碰撞几何条件下He光双电离的三重微分截面(TDCS),并与3C模型计算结果、CCC理论结果和实验数据做了比较.表明,末态波函数动量相关效应成功地修正了3C结果,特别当入射光子能量接近阈值时,明显改善了与实验结果的符合程度.     

γ辐照掺杂SiO2的ESR研究
