In this study, renewable, non-toxic, sulphur free bio-lubricants are synthesized as alternative for fossil fuels. We utilized a bio-derived 10-undecylenic acid (UDA) and pentaerythritol (PE) as raw materials to synthesize bio-lubricants by two-step chemical processes like esterification and followed by epoxidation reactions. And achieved a UDA-PE epoxide yielded 73.4%. The formation of UDA-PE ester and UDA-PE epoxide was confirmed by spectral analysis such as NMR (1H and 13C), FTIR and mass spectra, Physico-chemical and basic lubricant properties by standard American Society for Testing and Materials methods (ASTM). The results showed that the products of UDA-PE ester and UDA-PE epoxide had high viscosity index (262 and 200), good pour points (−29 °C to −15 °C), high flash points (296 °C and 301 °C) respectively and these met the ISO VG (International Organization for Standardization-Viscosity grade) 22 and 220 standard values. In general, both synthesized products are plausible to be employed as bio-lubricant in industrial application.  相似文献

Development of biologically derived materials for the construction of materials with new functions is a crucial intersection of materials science and biotechnology, which is currently a topic of research interest. In this paper, we report on the use of cuttlebone-derived organic matrix (CDOM) as scaffold and reducer for the formation of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The experiment was carried out by simple immersing of CDOM in tollen’s reagent and incubating at 80 °C. UV–vis spectra and TEM were utilized to characterize the AgNPs and investigate their formation process. Results demonstrate that the size and distribution of AgNPs are influenced by the incubation time and protein component in CDOM. Furthermore, the AgNPs–CDOM composite was applied to catalyze the reduction of 4-nitrophenol in the presence of NaBH4, and it can be easily separated from the liquid-phase reaction system during the reusing cycles.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study a new fractional operator and its implications in terms of the Ruscheweyh derivative operator, the Sălăgean operator and a certain fractional differintegral operator. Some geometric properties of the analytic functions involving this operator are derived. We also consider some applications and derive certain corollaries of our main results. Some useful consequences and relationship of certain results with known results are also pointed out.

The dispersed and uniform hematite nanowires (α-Fe2O3 NWs) with the different diameter were synthesized using SBA-15 as hard templates by the nanocasting method, and the diameter of α-Fe2O3 NWs was about 4, 6 and 8 nm, respectively. The BET surface area of α-Fe2O3 NWs changed a little, while the bandgap decreased from 2.07, 2.03 to 1.91 eV with the increasing diameter according to quantum size effect. Compared all samples, the sensitivity of α-Fe2O3 NWs based gas-sensors increased from 10.64 to 11.43 with the bandgap and BET surface area α-Fe2O3 NWs in 100 ppm ethanol at 300 °C, and the response–recovery time was also improved for the good crystallinity. It's concluded that the surface area greatly affected the gas-sensing performance of α-Fe2O3 NWs based sensors, while the bandgap and crystallinity also influenced the gas-sensing behavior to some extent. The α-Fe2O3 NWs based gas-sensors exhibited the high sensitivity, fast response–recovery and good selectivity to ethanol.  相似文献

Nanostructures of three Zinc(II) coordination polymers, [Zn(NNO)2(H2O)4]n (1), [Zn(PNNO)2(H2O)2]n (2) and [Zn(H2O)6]·(INNO)2 (3) {NNO: Nicotinic acid N-oxide, PNNO: Picolinic acid N-oxide and INNO: Isonicotinic acid N-oxide}, have been synthesized by a sonochemical process and reaction of ligands with Zn(CH3COO)2. The Zinc(II) oxide nano-particles have been synthesized from thermolysis of [Zn(NNO)2(H2O)4]n (1), [Zn(PNNO)2(H2O)2]n (2) and [Zn(H2O)6]·(INNO)2 (3) at two different methods (with surfactant and without surfactant) and two temperatures (200 and 600 °C). The ZnO nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Comparison of the SEM images of ZnO nano-particles at two different methods and temperatures shows that higher temperature results in an increasing of agglomeration and thus small and spherical ZnO particles with good separation were produced by thermolysis of compounds at 200 °C and by use of surfactant.  相似文献

In this paper a new approach to evaluate the drag force in a simple way on a restricted axially symmetric body placed in a uniform stream (i) parallel to its axis, (ii) transverse to its axis, is advanced when the flow is governed by the Stokes equations. The method exploits the well-known integral for evaluating the drag on a sphere. The method not only provides the value of the drag on prolate and oblate spheroids and a deformed sphere in axial flow which already exists in literature but also new results for a cycloidal body, an egg shaped body and a deformed sphere in transverse flow. The salient results are exhibited graphically. The limitations imposed on the analysis because of the lack of fore and aft symmetry in the case of an eggshaped body is also indicated. It is also seen that the analysis can be extended to calculate the couple on a body rotating about its axis of symmetry.  相似文献

New pulse sequences for the selective excitation and editing of NMR spectra of protons directly bonded to carbon-13 in CH, CH2, and CH3 groups are described. Experimental results as well as theoretical calculations demonstrate that these sequences have excitation profiles of about ±0.5JCH or less and require no pulse shaping or special hardware to implement. After the isotope-directed excitation of the protons has been generated, the proton magnetization may be relayed to other protons via an isotropic mixing sequence to yield 1D HOHAHA subspectra or 2D COSY subspectra. Examples of applications to compounds containing carbon-13 either at natural abundance or with enrichment are shown.  相似文献
